The most rude person ive ever met in my life. Have lived in Monett for over 20 years this was my first visit. I did not know I had to know everything about cars before walking into this shop. He sure did make it clear everything was done his way or no way. Every simple question I asked was answered with the worst attitude he has no people skills whatsoever. Someone should teach him some manners.An attitude change is highly recommended on how you treat your customers.Wow responds by saying "sorry we do not do illegal exausts" we believe you have the wrong customer.Friendly tire was able to replace my muffler without any issues on my Tundra.

If you need car repairs, Monett Mufflers & More is the place to go. Their mechanics are honest, and they always provide quality work at a fair price. I would recommend them for anything from routine maintenance like oil changes to major engine work.

Monett Muffler has fantastic customer service and have fair prices. They have done a great job keeping my vehicles going. Its been at 7 years since i have going been going there. I always recommend Monett Muffler. I can t say enough for this shop. Mike is simply fantastic. He is truly engaged with the customers and wants them to be happy. He will do whatever it takes to make sure that you are happy with his work.I really doubt if I will ever take any of my cars anywhere else.

They might have been right on price, and at first glance good quality. But, Mike got two strikes from me.Strike one was when I asked to show you a bracket that originally bolted to the engine block with an exhaust clamp, that I questioned if it was needed. You replied you were on break. Now, I'm an advocate of everyone is entitled to breaks, and lunch. But when I, as a paying customer with an appointment, who wanted to make sure the job was done right on my dad's 1966 Mustang, you couldn't walk 15 steps and pop the hood to address my concern or question before starting on the work. It would have taken 2 minutes or less.Strike two was when you called and said the car had to stay overnight, and I agreed as long as it stayed inside, and was that was indeed followed. I started to say it's hard to start when cold, and you have to take the breather off and close the butterfly to choke it... you cut me off and said "I'm a mechanic, I think I can figure it out". How belittling! I wasn't questioning your ability, but simply knowing the quirks of the car, was trying to save time in troubleshooting a hard starting car!I've been a computer programmer for 20 years, and if someone gives me recommendations on fixing computer problems, I just smile and nod my head. Instead of saying, I'm a computer programmer, I think I can figure it out .And to top it off, the bracket wasn t used, and I didn t get it back! Doesn t look like it was needed though.You might have people lined up for 2 weeks out on appointments, but treating me like an unappreciated and undervalued customer, I won't be one of them.Got the bracket back. After researching, turns out it is important. Without it installed can cause stress and premature wear on the exhaust manifold gasket and doughnut gasket. Now will have to take somewhere to fix, because the pipe isn t bent to accommodate where the clamp attaches. A headache for me, because 2 minutes of his break was inconvenient to him.

This is the best shop I've ever felt with they are very professional and actually did the work correctly the first time. They got my car out fast and it's the best feeling to have the car running right!

Mike and his team did a great job on my truck. His customer service was unbeatable. He worked quickly to get me truck back in service, and his labor cost was reasonable. We will definitely be going back to Monett Mufflers and More!

Amazing people. Amazing services. Great quality work. Not the cheapest in town but you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a little mire and have complete peace of mind that my car is fixed correctly.Good people here.

Very nice fair and respectable. They got the work done correctly in an amazing amount of time and have amazing customer service. I highly recommend to anybody that has any thing needed done to their car or truck

I'm helping a friend look for a car. Mike looked it over and saved us from a big headache and didn't charge us a dime. I'm extremely grateful for their honesty and integrity, It's a rare quality these days. What a blessing they were to us!!

I have been a customer of Monett Mufflers & More for more than 8 years. During which, I have experience superb, honest service. Nobody likes to have maintenance performed on their vehicle, but with Mike, it's nice to simply make a call and know, he's gotcha covered!

My mother set an appointment a week early with this guy. She pulled in front and mike was behind her and started yelling at her in a very rude manner to not pull in front of his garage. Friendly tire has by far better customer service.

I ve been going to Monett Muffler for over 15 years. Over the years Mike has done everything from a coolant flush on my 1993 Dodge Viper to nearly half a dozen timing belt changes on my Lexuses (or Lexi). Absolutely the best mechanic I ve ever used. I live in Springfield and would rather drive my cars here than have anyone else work on them. I won t trust my cars to anyone but Mike. He is by far the most knowledgeable and fairest priced mechanic around. Most of my friends in Springfield pay over double for the same service. If you re looking for a lifetime mechanic who will treat you fairly and honestly, this is the place to go.

We had a tire that was low. They were very prompt and aired it up.they also checked the other 3, and didn t charge for it.

I have found my go to place for any problems with my car. After dealing with a few other places recently I have learned who is fair, honest & upfront with me. I couldn't ask for nicer people. No more looking around if I come up with a problem. I will just call Mike.

Took my jetta here and an hour later he told me my car was under a recall. Told me to "Google it." No recall. Took it to dealership in Fayetteville and it was just a fuse issue. Would not recommend the waste of time.

the parts that the shop put onn my truck fell off and the owner of the shop will not stand behind his work. i think that he does poor work. i have talked to many people here in the monett area and i am not the first person to have a bad experiance

Did not fix my car right and I had to pay for the part that was supposed to be fixed again. I will never take anything to him again, he does not stand behind his work. Very poor attitude and very disrespectful.

They replaced my timing belt and belts did good on it and fast took them bout 4 hours good job guys
