Do not take your rebuilds to Josh Heitschmidt!!!!I paid him $7000 to rebuild a 302 that never ran.I had to take it to a different mechanic, Took the motor apart and found that when the WRONG gasket didn t fit, lots of silicone was used to make it fit. I also paid him to put In an entire new clutch kit, and clutch cable. Pictured is the clutch cable we discovered, which clearly is not new and is the original, yet I paid for a new one!! The car never ever ran right, he would never return my calls or even acknowledge the problems that I was having. He took my money and ran. This is the kind of work this shop does and rips people off!!!

Had just bought a 2017 Mustang Gt premium performance pack and brought it to JD to get mods and I got my car back throwing codes and running very poorly not to mention the body damage that happen to my car while it was in his care. Two shops later and $5000 it cost to fix want this shop did to my car. He also outright stole $300 of parts I paid for, he used his square to swipe my card but never ordered the parts and kept the money. I will also be seeing him in small claims court!! Super shady dude and I would steer clear of Jd.Services: Exhaust, Body & Trim

Haha where to start, good old stealing Josh worked on my mustang. Put another motor in and made the car worst. Started overheating, not shifting right, engine failed again after I got it back after 2 months when he told me it would take 2 weeks. I recommend noone to EVER consider taking their car here. His shop is a dump behind his trailer which looks sketchy.

Went there to have oil leaks fixed on the car. Car was there over a month. Owner would never call or text me back. Even went to their shop to ask about my car but they locked themselves inside the shop and wouldn t come to the door when I was knocking. 6 months later car leaked oil again. I was told the oil pan gasket had been replaced. Wrong. The old dry rotted one was still on. Instead they had taken a piece of a gasket and shoved it into the hole where it was leaking. Tried talking to the owner about this but of course no response. Stay far away from this shop!!!Service: Oil change

My husband and I bought a 99 cobra from Josh who is the owner of this business. We bought it from him so he would not have to lose it in his divorce. The plan was once he got in a good place we would sell it back to him. After we bought the car we brought out an engine (a built 5.3) to be put in it. Josh ended up getting upset with us over some rumors going around told us to come get the car and engine. When we showed up at the shop to get both of those neither were there, he now claims we never actually paid for the cobra and the 5.3 we had left out there for the car was junk and in pieces he then called the cops (we had called them too) and had us trespassed from his property.Since this incident Josh has tried taking out a restraining order on my husband and I claiming we are going to his home and firing guns off (no shell casings were ever found to back this story up), that we are driving by his shop/home yelling threats and waving guns again, he s created rumors attempting to hurt my marriage, Josh has made several post on his personal Facebook page attempting to attack or character, he s created fake Facebook profiles to attack myself and even worse, my special needs son.We are now having to take Josh and J&D performance to court (I recommend looking the owner up on casenet if you don t believe my story alone)My husband and I were loyal customers and friends for nearly 6 years and this is where we are left with this business. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

J&D performance is awesome. Josh is extremely professional and has amazing knowledge. Helped us out with my sons mustang. If you want your car to do big things check them out.

Great guys and excellent work! Nice to work with a shop that will work with what you have and give you what you want rather than asking you to spend a boat load of money on major upgrades. They tweaked my 4.6 sohc engine a bit and it more than exceeded my expectations at a fraction of the cost. The work speaks for itself...

Had car dyno tuned and supposed to have driveability tune done, but car still has same problems when it went in. Bumper was damaged while in their care and a computer cable for the tuner was never returned.

Numerous nice cars have been destroyed and hacked up here. I have plenty of pictures of the work as well.
