VW Dealer Suntrup quoted me $6k for a repair, Car Doc charged me only $1200. Just drove my car 4k miles on a cross country trip with no issues. Never taking my car anywhere else.

My 2016 Ford Fusion had a slow acceleration so I assumed it must be sparkplugs.I bought 4 Ford Motorcraft sparkplugs from a national auto parts chain for $7 or $1.75 a sparkplug.All 4 sparkplugs sit right on top of the engine so it's an easy job to switch them out.Unfortunately my sparkplug socket was too thick.So I figured $7 for sparkplugs plus maybe $100 in labor to put them in would be worth it.I got my car back today. They charged $120 for the sparkplugs ($30 a sparkplug) and $127 in labor.After tax about $260 to change sparkplugs is not worth it.To make matters worse that did not fix the problem.They tried a few other things, now I'm out $904.73 and the car runs rough.They are quick when it comes to state inspections though. My last inspection I was in and out of there in 10 minutes.

Car Doc is the only place I will take my car for routine maintenance and anything else that needs attention. Outstanding service and very fair prices.

I stopped in to see about getting a quick tire repair for some screws I picked up. I did not get a service from Car-Doc as they could not take me same day, but the busy fellow took time to explain and educate me on some things I did not know about how those repairs should be done. After further investigation I am very thankful for the advice- I could have made a very serious mistake by assuming that a quick plug fix would be safe. Thank you for your time

I'll give this place 2 stars as it is very clean, has a nice waiting room, and a very organized website.They advertise, "superior dealership service and repairs without charging dealership prices".I paid $ 135 for an oil and filter change plus tire rotation. I wanted to try out this place as it is nearby and convenient for me. I could have driven a bit further and had the same 6 Quart Dexos oil/ filter and tire rotation for $89.95 at ELCO.Plus the owner wasn't that friendly as he came into the waiting room doorway and yelled out "red Cadillac" looking for my lugnut key, when he'd already seen me from his office and never mind I was the only one in the room besides a guy that rode with me.When the car was finished the mechanic never told me about anything that was right or wrong with the car like a dealership does and I was never thanked for coming in to try the business or� for spending $135.I guess they don't want or need new customers.

John is simply amazing! He is the greatest service manager in the history of service managers. Fair, honest, down to earth guy that knows absolutely EVERYTHING about all cars. I don t want anyone else but the awesome CAR-DOC team to work on my vehicles! 5 stars ain t enough, more like 5000 stars! WAY TO GO JOHN AND THE ENTIRE TEAM AT CAR-DOC AUTOMOTIVE!

Booked a drop off appointment for an oil change as I had gotten one in October 2022 for a little over $50. The service I booked in both October 2022 and this last one stated Engine oil & filter, yet they rotated my tires as well even though nothing in the appointment booking or confirmation email/texts said anything about a tire rotation. When i picked up my car i was blindsided because my total was $120 for what should have only been an oil change. I looked up the past confirmation email, bank charge, and had done some math that wasnt adding up. When I called for an explanation Mark tried to talk me in circles and convince me that they had done me a favor, saying last year they only charged me for a quart of oil and thats why the first oil change was only 50 something dollars (still the most ive paid for an oil change besides the 120 today). Mark was incredibly defensive, combative, and rude on the phone with a heavy condescending tone, attempting to flip things around to make themselves come out looking good. I can see from the other negative reviews on here that they've made it a habit of scamming people out of extra money and then immediately get defensive and argumentative when someone leaves a negative review (cant wait to see what they say in response to mine). I thought I could trust this place because the owners of the company I work for use them, but I will definitely be mentioning this to them and recommending they find someone more trustworthy.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

I was having issues with my Jeep starting. I called them, they understood the emergency and they made time to fit me in their busy schedule. I have never experienced this level of customer service from anywhere. They went over and beyond to try and fix the problem and were 100% honest when not finding a mechanical issue. Very, very trustworthy! On top of all that, their shop is so clean, you could sit on the floor. I highly recommend them and will be using them for any future issue or service!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

John, the mechanic, saved my day, no kidding! So, there I am, just cruisin' through town, when my alternator decides to take a vacation. Took me ages to figure out how to get a tow truck should've gone with John right away, but oh well, I tried my own insurance adventure.Anyway, I finally roll into John's place, and they see me quicker than a hiccup. Fast work? You betcha. And the best part? The bill was surprisingly reasonable! I mean, I expected to break the bank, but John didn't let that happen.Now, I wish I could say I'd come back, but no such luck. I broke down again while I was road trippin' cross country. But hey, I'll forever be grateful to John for keeping me and my wheels safe. If you find yourself in a pickle like mine, don't hesitate to give John a shout. He's the real deal, folks

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Car-Doc over the last 6 years. Their work is high quality and they never pressure me to get services done that aren t necessary.They also go above and beyond for their customers (I once had my entire wheel stolen and they came to my apartment to replace it so that I didn t have to tow my car. They also fixed my visor for free in less than 20min after I had gone to another shop that was going to charge me $90 just to diagnose the problem). I will most definitely return!

Moved here less than a year ago, but have already found our go-to automotive repair shop. Car-Doc has been fast, efficient, well priced, and best of all, honest and respectful. No over selling, no questionable repair calls (experienced a few of those in the past), just an excellent "get it done right" attitude. Place is clean, and everybody we've dealt with has been very friendly- seriously, what more can you ask for?Service: Auto exhaust system repair

I had to have a door handle and AC fixed. I was quoted by one of the technicians, John, that it would be $780 total after they had ordered the parts for the handle and the AC. John called again the next day and I was told that I needed a new radiator, which costs $230, and that there'd be no additional labor charge. John said that everything would be ready the next day. I said, "So it will be about $1000 total?", John said yes.I went to pickup my car the next day and was greeted by Debbie, the office manager. She gave me my bill for more than $1300! I told Debbie the bill was about $1000 when I was quoted over the phone. She said, "You'll have to talk to John, he already left."I called as soon as they opened the next day. I get Debbie again, explained who I am and which repair order was mine, and requested to speak to a manager. She told me I would be transferred to the shop manager and I was transferred to John instead. I expected him to have some accountability and apologize for his mistake on the phone. Instead, when I told him I was not quoted $1300 he said, "Yes I did". He went so far that he told me he already listened to our phone recording and he heard himself mention that the door handle would put it up to $1300. When did you listen to this recording, John?! In the 10 seconds that it took for me to be transferred?! He tells me he's offended that I accused him of making a mistake and calls me by the wrong name in the same sentence!!! I told him I'll need to write a review about how they do business and he says, "Go ahead", so here I am.Dear Car Doc - when you choose employees to talk to customers on the phone, make sure they don't insult the customer with such obvious, petty lies to cover up their tracks. I felt like I was talking to a teenager at his first job. I would be happy to listen to this phone recording in which I was quoted $1300.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

I have been going to Car-Doc for the past 2+ years. They NEVER disappoint!!! They always work with my schedule. I'm always in and out in less than an hour for my regular maintenance services. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is always nice. If there are any other issues they find, they come and explain it to me and give me options. I never feel forced to have to get services done at that time like other places. I've never seen a cleaner shop!!! Recently had a problem with my car's blower and immediately called Car Doc. They got me in as quickly as possible and as in the past, everything went extremely well. Car Doc is a 1st class auto repair shop--with 1st class trained techs & a terrific customer service rep named Debbie. Folks at Car Doc are extremely honest, explain everything to you so you can understand, and don't do anything that you don't need. Their prices are very fair and they never tack on extra charges. If your car needs something, they will tell you. If you're looking for an A++ auto repair shop, that goes the extra mile or two for its customers, then Car Doc is the place for you.

I have been taking my Hondas to CarDoc for several years now. I think they do a great job at a low price. They have saved me a lot of money by finding high quality after-market parts that the car needed. When I was hearing a slight scraping noise that turned out to be a pebble bouncing around in a wheel well, they didn t even charge me for correcting it. Took 2 cars here in the past few months for routine inspections and some minor maintenance work/oil changes. Absolutely excellent service that was quick and easy to schedule. Probably one of the cleanest shops I've ever stepped foot in and am very pleased to find a shop I can depend on in the future for any issues.

We needed to do some major catching up on maintenance for our Jeep Patriot: breaks, wheel bearings, oil, radiator and break fluid, and air filters. We have been using Car-Doc for about 10 years. Always excellent service without any attempt to sell something not needed. All work has been first rate, and all the people are very courteous. We have bought three cars through their buying service, including one for our son, and they gave all been excellent. We recommend Car-Doc to all our friends both for maintaining their current cars and for buying cars.

Scheduled an appointment online for a repair. Waited a week for the appointment. Drove an hour to the repair shop and they don't even work on my style of vehicle. Why let someone set an appointment online if you don't even service the type of vehicle that they listed??? Brilliant.

My boyfriend takes his car to Car-Doc, and when I mentioned that I needed work done to mine he enthusiastically recommended this place. They aren't located in my area so I was a bit hesitant until I read all the amazing reviews, particularly those from other women. The staff and technicians lived up to their reputation. Everyone was friendly, honest, and straightforward. The job was done and now my car runs as smooth as ever! I'm very pleased with everything and highly recommend Car-Doc!

Car-Doc is the best auto shop I've ever been to. The lobby area is very well-designed and accommodating, shop is spacious and extremely well kept, staff are helpful and communicate about services clearly, and overall they provide an exceptional customer experience and great customer service. They even offer a shuttle service if you are dropping off your vehicle and your office is nearby, and they were kind enough to make an exception for me since my office was a bit out of their shuttle range. Great work done at reasonable prices. This place gets it right, I HIGHLY recommend! Thank you for taking care of my vehicle.

Took my car in because a light came on about the radar. It was diagnosed for radar misalignment but shop was not equipped to fix it and recommended to go to the dealership. They didn't tell me that they weren't equipped to fix the issue when I brought it in and charged me $150. I understand that they don t work for free but I m not sure why they took the job if they knew they couldn t fix it.

I use them for everything on both vehicles. They have great prices and do a great job. They do get extremely busy so on routine stuff call a few days a head of time. But on emergencies they do a great job trying to fit you in

Wonderful experience at Car-Doc Automotive! I had a water pump fail on my VW TDI and Brian at Car-Doc was able to install a new timing belt kit. Honestly have nothing but good experiences with this shop. I tried them out a couple years after moving in the area and they have been honest, upfront, and honorable when it came to work needed and pricing. Also love the shuttle service back to your home while your car is serviced. Thank you for keeping me on the road guys!

I am pretty sure I have already given Car-Doc a 5-star review, but I can't say enough good things about them. Spotless facility shows they really take pride in their work. Many knowledgeable technicians (read their bios on the website). As others have mentioned, they take the time to describe the issues and answer any questions you may have about the work.I brought in my car that had trouble starting and they replaced the battery and a couple other things that needed to be fixed while they had it. Two days later the car wouldn't start again, so we brought it back to them. They could not replicate the issue, so we went to pick it up again. The issue finally happened when we tried to leave, so the technicians were able to diagnose the issue. They fixed it the next day and told me they would not charge me because we have already had work done and we have been back and forth with them so often.It is relieving to find a place that I can trust. They not only care about fixing the car, they care about the people driving the car, too. I won't take my cars anywhere else. Car-Doc family member for life!
