Rae was a terrific rep. She was very patient and made sure I understood everything, even giving me time to take notes. She is very amiable and a pleasure to work with unlike most sales representatives. Must admit that she does seem to have a good product to represent.However, when I subsequently looked on Google to see other reviews, the preponderance reported fraud and warnings to "never do business with this company".I had assumed that the letter I received was from the dealership from whom I had purchased my car. It contained year, make and model, a Vin number, and "customer ID". It stated that I had "not contacted them to have my service contract activated" and "if" my "factory warranty" had expired I would be responsible for "paying any repairs" but I could "still activate a service contract before it is too late".I did not run down to my car to verify the information requested but reread the letter I had received and realized it was NOT from my car dealership. It was simply written in a manner that would dupe me in to believing that it was and act on it in a hurry without fully analyzing it!

Auto Protect USA is a total scam, they conned my elderly mom into a an extended warranty on her new Honda. They cost us a few thousand dollars that i am sure we will never see back. Then they tried scare tactics with hourly calls threatening her. Luckily i finally got on the phone to stop the madness. We had to cancel her credit card. What terrible company feeding off the elderly.

Took my truck in for estimate and repair pending the approval of auto protect warranty. As it turns out it was DECLINED because of the age of contract with them AFTER 30 days, 1,000 miles grace period!!! My truck had the check engine light came on recently on Wednesday ( march 13th) few days after the grace period! I m considering canceling this contract with them. It s completely bogus! I think they re looking for any excuse NOT to approve the repairs!

SCAM! DO NOT USE!I paid on this warranty for over a year and the transmission went out on my truck so I submitted a claim. At first, they tried to deny my claim because of oil changes. I submitted proof that I have kept up with all scheduled maintenance, including oil changes. They make me wait 4 days, then deny me for using my truck as commercial. My truck is not a commercial vehicle. I drive it to work but doesn t everyone drive their personal vehicle to work?! So because I have a job and drive my personal vehicle to my job, they consider it commercial? I don t think so. This company is a scam and will pull any excuse out of a hat just to not live up to their end of the contract. I repeat, this is a scam of a company . I will be hiring an attorney and taking them to court. Beware before you sign with this company unless your goal is to throw money away.

Don't ever purchase this. It is a scam. They denied work due to not taking the car the first time a noise was heard.. even though ... It only happened when it got below freezing. This is Houston! The second time it got cold we took it in and they denied coverage. Their supervisor doesn't even have a policy with her own company.

Unfortunately, to leave a review, I have to leave a star. Realistically, they don t deserve it. My wife and I bought her grandfathers old car after his death we find out that he has a policy with them and they tried to renew it with my wife she said yes so then I called to cancel. After speaking to three separate people who kept offering me better and better deals to keep their useless warrantee, they finally canceled coverage. But not before telling me it s because I can t afford their plan and also not before trying to run me around, attempting to keep me off topic from canceling the plan. KEEP YOUR ELDERLY FAMILY AWAY.

This company is a complete scam. They talked my elderly mother into signing up by telling her the existing warranty on her vehicle was expired. First of all, the vehicle was still covered for 3 more years and 30,000 miles. When my mother called to cancel after 3 months of paying $250, the representatives berated her for 15 mins refusing to cancel the policy. They insulted her multiple times. Luckily for the cowards at Auto Protect USA I was not present when this occurred. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I will be contacting BBB next.

Borderline scam !!! They sent me a notice that my Factory warranty has expired which wasn't true as I have 3 years on my new vehicle. Sales guy was persistent to make me pay $495 initial downpayment even after telling him that I am not interested.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST, HORRIBLE company!! RUDE representative! My car has been in the shop for 2.5weeks waiting on an approval. I provided every documentation they needed unrelated to my car problems & they seem to find and or request more info. Avoiding to take care of the problem!!

Do not buy from these people! They scammed my father into purchasing an auto protection plan costing $325 a month by telling him "his plan" had expired. He was an 88 year old, bed-ridden amputee with a 2012 car that he did not drive - then continued to take payments out of his account after his death. Please check the better business bureau before doing any business with this company There are tons of fraud complaints that have been reported about them.

VERY UNSATISFIED.Was ORIGINALLY very impressed with their support and the people that signed me up. HOWEVER, when it came down to actually needing their warranty services AFTER the policy was paid off (the ONLY TIME), they denied coverage on my transmission because it wasn't taken IMMEDIATELY to the shop and left there. I'm a heart patient with an LVAD and in need of a transplant and can't be without a vehicle and my dealership did not have a loaner vehicle available. Since the car was not dead or undrivable I had to wait until I could schedule diagnostics/repairs for a time when I could get a loaner vehicle OR when I didn't have Dr appointments scheduled for at least a week. I live in a rural area that is 25mi from nearest hospital, grocery stores, etc. So time without car has to be planned out. When my dealership notified me there was a vehicle avail for loan, my car went in to the shop. Then AutoProtect USA denied my claim. Again I reiterate, I was not aware of what exactly the problem was until the car could be left at the shop. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They also said they would not honor the claim unless I could produce all records and receipts for all maintenance/ & oil changes for the LAST 2 YRS! These are things that I was NOT told I needed to keep on hand when I purchased the policy.Now I have a car in need of transmission repairs that this company refuses to pay for and if I had not paid them $1,000s for the policy, I would at least be able to afford part of the repair cost. Now I'm out all the $ for the policy and don't have a safe car either.

Got a letter in the mail they are demanding me to call them now or I ll miss a great opportunity extending my warranty. My vehicle is already well past warranty periods and they included some info on the letter including a vin number which is not even close to my vin number. You can tell they re scummy scammers. Wish government would do something about these scammers so they stop harassing with phone calls and mail.

I found Celestine Chambers to be very efficient in her performance at Auto Protect. She was quite a personable lady. Enjoyed my time on the phone with her as well as her leading me through the insurance speak to be able to conduct the business I needed to take care of.If you have a special service award, Ms Chambers certainly ought to receive it!

RIPOFF!!!!! Take advantage of elderly people. they took my friends money and paid nothing on a vehicle with 21,000 miles on it. Took over a thousand dollars and now he cant drive anymore. its been 9 weeks now with no refund. This stuff should be illegal its no different than thieves stealing money,
