Do not do may mistake, yesterday octobre 15th took my car with an appointment to change my oil at 10am I got their at 9.40 am the guy on the front desk seen me waiting and stayed outside smoking his cigarette and playing his phone for like 10 to 15 min . They took my car I at 10.20 to change oil and filters .. this should not take over 15 to 30 min in the worst case scenario. But they actually opened my car oil filter and changed air filter then they damaged my oil screw on the car engine couldn't open it .they did not change my oil until 1.30 pm spoke to a manager was rude and thinking I don't know what they did on the end I asked them to give me my car back since they didn't change anything bedide air filter .. so they decided to charge me for oil filter even though they put it on my car before changing oil and the air filter wish I would understand

do not go to walmart for new tires. I ordered 4 on monday and my appointment was thursday. i show up on thursday and they can only find 2 of them and tell me to come back friday even though they didnt have an open appointments and they said they would get mine done still. On friday i was there 3.5 hours waiting and the man at the desk said i didnt have an appointment so the appointments will get done before mine. Absolutely horrible service

Showed up with an appointment and was told by the team lead who could barely speak english or understand it no appointment finally after 45 mins of waiting the manager showed up told me they could get me done in 45 mins but it took 3 hours.. The reduced price is not worth the hassle. Better off with costco or something.

It took a long time to have two tires installed. Then when I got in my vehicle the tire system light was on. I wasn't happy about that at all. You drove my car out of the bay. So therefore you saw the light on. So I called back in there. I had to wait again for them to do what needed to be done to get the light off.

Staff are not helpful at all. I changed the tire week ago and have issues with passenger rear tire. I had paid $40 for all four tire road hazard and when I came to repair my tire they said they don t have the same tire and they will put higher price tire and which I have to pay full and won t be covered by road hazard. What s the point of paying $40 then if it s useless. They need to explain how road hazard work. Won t be coming to Walmart auto center again. They is totally disappointed and they are ripping people up.

Been going here for years. Never been great service but now days is bad as you could get. Took my car in at 8am this morning and at 12 still nothing. Want even answer the phone so I can check. Waited two hours only to be told they couldn t find the one tire I needed replaced the one tire that Allen and I found together three different times so I had to help this guy find it again so they could replace my single tire. Pure incompetence. Spend the extra money and go somewhere better.Service: TiresService: Tires

I bought a battery for my car which was a great price. And it was installed for free. However the service was not quite as good as the product. It started when I got my key back and it had a sticker on it to identify the key as mine. I took the sticker off but it left a great deal of stickiness on my key. I asked to speak to the department manager and asked if he felt that it was appropriate to leave me with a key that was sticky. He seemed to be astonished that I would even think of this. His response was we use stickers stickers leave residue. I pointed out that that depended upon what type of sticker you used. He then said, somewhat sarcastically, that he would tell someone to change the type stickers they use. OK! Then he offered to clean off the residue which I accepted and he took care of. I then went out to get my car. When I first arrived I parked in a handicap space right next to the entrance to the automotive department because I am disabled. When I left the store my car was parked in the middle of the parking lot. I had to walk the distance carrying packages. It was not impossible for me to do this but I was very tired and it just made it more difficult for me. It was raining today and so all the cars were wet, including mine. I walked up to get into my car and found that they had parked it quite close to the car next to it so that I would have to brush up against either one or the other car and get wet. Mind you the parking lot was almost empty and there was no reason to park the cars side by side. Now I realize that these are not huge things. But it's called courtesy. Thinking about someone else and what will be best for them. It wouldn't have taken any more of anyone's time to make it more convenient for me. And really isn't good customer service something that we would all like to have. And yet it is so rare to find and I did not find it today at Walmart. In the picture my car is the green car and you can see the handicap spaces in the distance. You can also somewhat tell how close my car is to the silver car. My car is parked in the middle of the space but the silver car is parked close to the line on my side. What you can't see is that the front end of my car was closer to the back end of the other car then the back of mine to the front of theirs.

Today, I took my car for the oil change after my work. After about 1:45 hours, I got it back and drove home. When I got home, I realized that all the driver s door cloth is greasy and dirty. It had never happened to me before. This was the first time I took this car to that center and definitely would be the last time.

Had a battery delivered with a core charge. When I returned the battery the online receipt did not break out the core charge, so I did not get my $ back. The guy at the counter was nice, but the charge needs to be itemized.

I don t know why there s so many nasty reviews. I scheduled for 6-7pm and they called at 5:30 and said the time was mistakenly open. They still took the car since I was half an hour early and was there already as he called. Staff was really professional and kind despite the schedule mix up and having to stay a little longer. I felt terrible since I don t like being that customer ever. But the guy who ran my car out at the end was very nice and said it wasn t my fault after I apologized like 10 times lol. Total wait time = 4 hours 44 minutes.I left work early today for this oil change. Arriving at 1246pm, my car stayed in that parking space until 5pm. My car wasn t finished until 530pm. I sat in the waiting area from the time I arrived until my car was ready. There was no working heat so I basically waited in a 35 degree fahrenheit waiting area. All while two customers that came after me were finished before me for new tire sets. Needless to say, this is my last time going to this location for auto care.

I felt the need to share my positive experience with all the negative reviews listed. First off let s be honest it s WALMART. If you want faster, VIP service at a much higher rate I m sure Jiffy Libe or Firestone would love your business. I arrived on a Saturday morning at 9am 2 hours after opening time to get an oil change. Guy at the counter immediately told me it s at least a 2 hour wait. His tone kind of made it seem like he was trying to push me away but let s be serious, it s Walmart. When are they not busy. Anyways, was able to get my grocery shopping done while my car was being serviced. Not sure if they were ahead of schedule or is someone cancelled but my car was done in about 1 1/2 hours. Only reason I m giving 4 stars is because I made several attempts to call and schedule but the phone just rung. All in all it was a great experience and I saved about $50 compared to other price quotes I received from other companies. If you don t like to wait maybe consider dropping your car off.

Please don't take your vehicle here. We took our car in for an oil change and it was running fine. They brought it back to me and there was an oil pressure light on and the engine wasn't running well enough to drive it home. We towed it home but Walmart refused to take responsibility and now I will have to pay to get a new engine. I would give them a negative rating on the stars if it allowed.Service: Oil change

I love this auto center! I needed an oil change and a new tire after the winter weather beat up on my tires. Came in without an appointment. I went to get my oil changed, they contacted me as they were leaving and told me they couldn t start my car and that they tried calling me, they in fact did not call me and when I went to pick up my car it started perfectly fine. They were obviously lying because the whole auto staff left an hour before they closed and didn t tell anyone. The manager had to go to digging for my key and found a note saying they couldn t start my car and tried calling me so they just didn t do anything. They are incredibly lazy and lied to get out of doing their job and I will never ever return to this walmart.

I called in about tires for my car, spoke to someone over the phone and from my understanding they were available for me to receive service. I arrive there after 30 minutes of driving they tell me they stop taking service right after I called. I left and returned back to the store, I overheard the person in front of me receiving service. I spoke to the manager whose name was Jay. He explains to me because of the high volume they have that right in doing so. The communication here is terrible. You are better off going elsewhere.

Horrible customer service. I had an appointment scheduled for 7:00AM to get my tires mounted and balanced, (I purchased the Michelin s from a third-party vendor and brought them with me). I walked in, talked to one of the service techs and he told me that I needed to speak with the service manager, who was nowhere to be found until finally stumbling into the auto center area at 7:47am. He told me he needed to go out to my car and get some info, I gave him the keys and he came back 10 minutes later after taking my car s info and looking at each of my tires and says that they can t do it because they only change tires that are the same exact size of the ones currently on the vehicle, and it was company policy (they have done this in the past for my vehicles and I called the Chesterfield location directly after and they told me otherwise). I asked why they were able to do the service for me on previous occasions and he began to get defensive and angry and told me they re not going to help me. Xander, the service manager is lazy, sloppy, unprofessional, and told me he doesn t care if he gets a 1 star review, so those are the standards you ll be dealing with here as long as he is the service manager and doesn t make any changes. Don t Spend Money Here, Live Better.

Made an appointment for 5, as I was told to. Person at the register was incompetent, to say the least, and didn't know how to even ring me in. Then he had the gall to tell me my car wouldn't be done for two hours... Even though I was told maybe half an hour to at most an hour when the appointment was made. Most here were walk ins (I know that because the person I spoke to yesterday told me they do it on the hour and they only take one per allotment). Been sitting here nearly an hour and my car still hasn't been taken back. Why even bother with appointments? This is ridiculous.

Very poor experience with customer service. Services performed were fine. Waited over 30 minutes in a line of two people with employees walking by not even acknowledging myself and the other customer s existence. Upon pick up, I was told someone would be back in the auto center until 9pm. No one to be found so I had to track down an employee from another department. He was trying to be very helpful but as he did not work in Auto. Had to go in the back to find someone. Then they had me walk outside in the dark around back to get my car, could not let me through the automotive door. I am displeased and will not spend my money here again.

I would like to second the earlier review. I know it's Walmart, but even for Walmart, this place is a joke. If their customer service is any indication of their mechanic skills, that is a terrifying thought. I waited 2 hours for an oil change and a battery replacement, when I was told 30 minutes to an hour. Finally, I ask the clerk (after waiting on line for 20 minutes) if my car is done, only to be told that I needed a new battery and they needed my approval for this. Seriously??? I had been waiting on my laptop in the "waiting area" the whole time. 2 HOURS. I had to leave with just the oil change. I will NEVER make the mistake of going here again.

I went to Walmart auto center to get help replacing my bulb, even though I wasn t able to get my bill fixed due to the difficulty of where it is located. Zach was able to help me put on my windshield wipers. It was a busy days but still without hesitation he came out to help me and I appreciate that.Thanks Zach

Do not! I repeat do not take your car to be serviced here. Would you like your windows down and left unlocked in a parking lot? Would you like the brake weights to fall off of your two week old tires? Would you like to be serviced by incompetent mechanics and an even more incompetent manager? If you would not than I highly recommend picking anywhere else. They're customer service hasn't gotten back to me shockingly the staff can t accomplish simple human tasks.

It was horrible. I waited 3.5 hours to get tires rotated, that they didn't rotate. Per their recommendation. When I got my keys back, they didn't return my lock key for my lugs. We had to wait for technician to come back from his break to give back the lock key he tried to steal (2nd time). If you're a Walmart manager, you're more than welcome to respond.

I would give this place zero stars but it s needing at least one selection. No matter the amount of employees or cars in the parking lot service is terrible. Waited for ever just to speak to an employee to be rudely dismissed. I called repeatedly on my way over for 45+ mins plus with no one to answer. I can understand busy but for a bigger operation Walmart should be able have someone answer the phones. When I got to the store, I wasn t greeted for over 20 mins, only one young man made eye contact with me. One employee even came out of the garage area to just sit on the bench in the waiting room. For the amount of time that I spent waiting to speak to someone they were not that busy. I think it was more wanting to not help any more paying customers and to just leave for the day. Corporate needs to do something about the customer service.

Horrible customer service. I agree it s Wal-Mart and inexpensive but come on now. They should still be friendly. Every time I ve went in to have tires or an oil change done, they seriously act like I m bothering them. Rude rude rude! And to top it off, they re out of stock on my tire size half of the time! I no longer bring my car here. I d rather pay a little more $$$ to be treated nicer and actually have my tire size in stock without having to be disappointed. Also, I ve waited up to 3 hours for my vehicle to be finished and I question why because there s usually only one or two other cars besides mine parked back there? I like to shop but damn

We bought tires there and needed them installed. They were super busy and the person behind their register did not offer choices, such as it will be 4 hours until we get to your car, so we can call you when it's done. After waiting all day, I found out they just slapped it in and didn't calibrate the little weights, so it is N�s a smooth ride.

Was there for an 1hr just to get a warranty battery exchanged. Not replaced. Had to wait for 50mins for a manager to help me, after a manager named Jay was behind the counter and never acknowledged me and walked away. The sales clerk had to page 4 times for another manager to come back. The sales clerk was extremely busy, no one helped her out or even seemed to care about her. I felt very sorry for the sales clerk and thought this is probably the reason Walmart is always short staffed......headquarters you can do alot better then this and we all know you have the money to do better......unacceptable!!!!!!
