We've been here a few times and they always do a great job. Quick and extremely friendly. We will definitely continue to use them for all of our Auto body needs. We even drive 35 mins out of the way to come here.

Spirit West has been my body shop for 40 years, and my latest repair was handled just like always. Beautiful body work repair of damage to the right rear when my wife backed into a yield sign. A long wait to get in because they do great work, but I would never go anywhere else.

I've been taking my cars to Spirit West for decades. There is NO BETTER PLACE to have your car painted or repaired. My 19 year old Jeep Rubicon is my pride and joy. It runs like new, and thanks to the masters at Spirit West, looks like new! Whenever I notice anything that could use a touch-up, I don't hesitate to take it there, knowing that they will work their magic. They are friendly, knowledgeable, match paint (even 19 year old paint) perfectly, and even accommodate my crazy schedule. I love knowing that I can drop off my car for paint or bodywork issues and return to find a beautiful car awaiting me. Thank you Spirit West! You cannot go wrong here.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Very professional people. Did an exceptionally well body work on my Civic. Front end was damaged very badly, but after Spirit West worked on it looked like new. Highly recommend them for any body work, maintenance on your car. Tracy has been very respectful and responsive for all emails. Worked really well with my insurance company too.

These guys are the best. Someone broke into my car while out of town. We limped back to STL with a smashed out window and a jacked up door that wouldn't latch. Spirit got me back on the road in short order with the replacement glass and door, then did a superb job repairing all the body damage caused in the vandalism when the ordered parts arrived. Tracy and her team are the best!!

I would highly recommend Spirit West! They did a great job fixing my car after a deer incident. They did an awesome job on my X3. They were up front with timing of when to expect parts (which actually came in early) and were spot on with the time to complete the work. Communication was great and they handled everything with American Family Insurance. Hopefully won t need body work again any time soon, but would recommend them!

I'm a car guy (big time) and I tore into the passenger side of my current "Honey" pulling out of my driveway... Turned too sharp coming around the garage to head up to the street and sccrrrrrappppe - rear passenger door and wheel! I got into the door and rear quarter pretty good and check out these straight lines! That's a tough part to get right! Thank you to the Team at Spirit West!! You came recommended and I will continue to pass that same along.

Our recent experience with Spirit West Motor Carriage was our third in the past five years. Like the previous two restorations, Spirit West restored our car to like new condition and if the previous two restorations are any indication, we expect this one to hold up flawlessly over time. We were recommended Spirit West Auto Body by Zisser Tire and Auto in Kirkwood. Our car had light front end damage from being hit while parked.Everyone in the office was great to work with from the start. They were able to handle the quote process with insurance which saved us from needing to spend hours on the phone with insurance.Very happy with the result and our car came back looking as good as new. I hope we don t, but if we ever need more bodywork we will return!

Have used them before for other cars and have been very pleased. Our car was hit while parked on the street, and took it in for repair. They did a great job and it looks very good, but my only complaint was that they had the car for 4 weeks. We had a scheduled appointment, so I'd expect they'd get it completed fairly quickly. It was supposed to take 10 days. When we'd call, we'd always be told that it would only take a couple more days (it was drying, needed to be assembled, or needed to be inspected), but it was never ready in those couple days - it was always something else. It ended up taking 20 more days beyond the 10 days we were told. Not sure if it's a short-staffed/pandemic thing or what, but it sure took a lot longer than we were told. If we would have been told that it would take a month from the beginning, we could have at least prepared for that. But, that's my only complaint. The work seemed excellent and they did a great job repairing it. Will I go back - I don't know.Service: Body & Trim

We unfortunately have needed body work on the same vehicle two times this year. Both times we brought the car to Spirit West and both times the experience and workmanship were impeccable. This vehicle had two doors repainted the first time, and a bumper cover repainted and some plastic trim replaced the second time. The paint match is dead on, free of imperfections, and has absolutely no orange peel. It's actually better than a lot of factory finishes I've seen. All trim was reapplied in proper alignment and securely. They scheduled a rental car from a local rental car agency and the experience was seamless. And the best part of all is that both times the vehicle was ready when originally promised. Some people may scoff at the prices, but quality bodywork is expensive anywhere you go and they were actually a few bucks cheaper than another quote we had. We will go back to them again but hopefully it won't be for a while!Service: Body & Trim

I used this fine business twice. Once for a fender bender and once for a manufacturer repair under warranty. This small business acts like a big business but the difference is they care. They have excellent customer service and the work was quality. They were recommended by BMW so I was confident of their work. They delivered. One more thing, I've never seen my car's finish look so good. The work was only on a small part of the car but the entire paint job was like new. Their detailer is the best.Service: Body & Trim

Our experience began with the office, who were extremely helpful through the entire process, from timing of repair, (especially over the holidays), magnified by these difficult days of the pandemic causing shortages and illness, to working with insurance payments. The results were amazing with the vehicle looking like it should be on a dealer's lot for purchase. Rocks hit my car on the highway, cracking my windshield and damaging the front bumper. I took the car to a couple of places but didn't like what they offered. Dealer recommended Spirit West, and I gave them a call. I am so glad I did - they were all very friendly and professional, and the work is exceptional. The car now looks brand new, not to mention the meticulously-detailed, nice-smelling interior. It took longer than excepted due to COVID-related supply chain issues, but that is not Spirit West's fault. They kept me updated on the parts delay and at the end were able to get me OEM windshield. My family has used Spirit West several times in the past so when I damaged the fender on my Outback I knew just where to go. I received a detailed estimate with an explanation of what needed to be done. It was ready on the date promised and it good as new. The staff is courteous and friendly.

I had a really rough time getting my insurance to communicate with me at all. Spirit West was able to help me with them, well outside their usual job, and went above and beyond, working on making sure i got my car after business hours. They saved me a 3 hour bus commute to work. The car work was great, can't even tell it's a new bumper. Can't thank them enough.

I've been using Spirit West Motor Carriage and their sister company Spirit West Rapid Refinish for several years now. Any time any of my cars have had paint issues, body issues, and have been involved in accidents, Brian and the team at Spirit are first class all the way. From start to finish, Spirit West was on top of things. Professional, kind and sincere I could tell they cared about me and my vehicle and I was not disappointed. From Brian doing the estimate and to Tracy following up with me on a regular basis and working with the insurance company so I didn't have to. I will always bring all my cars to Spirit West for all future repairs because of the great service from Tracy and her crew. And my car looks fantastic!!!

Spirit West is clearly dedicated to quality! It took longer than expected to finish re-painting my bumpers, BUT, they had a difficult color to match and were near perfectionists in getting the paint to match the car. The end results were fantastic! They took an extremely shotty paint job, "courtesy" of FL Honda (who I bought my car from) and made everything look brand new. Extremely happy with the results. Spirit West did a fantastic job fixing my car. Other auto body shops had told me the insurance company would total my car, but they don t make my model anymore, and I LOVE my car!!!
