About a year and a 1/2 ago, we brought our car to them to fix. They had it for about 8 days before they ever even looked at it. Every time we would call they would say that they were going to get to it tomorrow. After they had it for over ten days they finally fixed the car. Within three days we had to take it back for the same issue. Fast forward to this week. Our truck started running really badly. So we decided to give them another chance thinking that maybe the first time was just a fluke.. We dropped off the truck and the lady at the front desk took our information and the key to the truck and that was it. We took it in on Monday. And every time we called, we got the same answer again that they were going to get to it tomorrow.. Today I finally got someone to talk to me after they had the truck for 4 days. And the man was extremely rude. He said that the lady had told us that it would be 7-10 days before they could look at it. That was an absolute lie. Because we would not have left the truck since we needed to know something by today so we could get a different vehicle if it was too much to fix the truck .He then told me that he would not get to look at it until late today or Monday and that he was doing me a favor by looking at it at all.. The lady at the front desk is extremely incompetent and dishonest. When I talked to her this morning she said she would call me back within an hour or so. And over two hours later I still had not heard anything. And I had to tell her what my phone number was because she was going to hang up without even asking.. If they were that far behind, they should have told us that, but they did not.. And if it was a miscommunication from the lady at the front desk. Then, after the first time we called, they should have said that. But they just kept saying they would get to it tomorrow. I do not recommend you take your vehicle to them unless you've got at least two weeks to sit and wait for them to do nothing.. Horrible business! Horrible owner! Horrible employee!

My daughter broke down in Urbana on her way back from the state fair. We were going to have it towed back to Springfield because we were nervous about using a mechanic that we did not know. I read the reviews for RZ and decided to give it a try. We are so happy that we did. Rod went out of his way to take care of everything. He even met with us after hours to work around our schedule. Very honest and great communication. I would highly recommend RZ!!Service: Engine repair

Mr. Zeigler (the owner of RZ) saved my bacon. I had to get an SUV and trailer road ready - in three days - for movement to each coast. He came to my house, retrieved the vehicles and repaired them on time. Fit me in to a busy roster at the garage. Very courteous and respectful. Some of the other repair shops in the area didn't even answer their phone when I called.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

My experience at RZ Repair was very good. The staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. I purchased a set of tires for my truck. They were installed, mounted and balanced. RZ Repair was 150 dollars cheaper than their competitors.

I m a delivery driver for FedEx Ground and found myself in a bind. I blew a tire at 2 pm on a Saturday...in Urbana! I called RZ Repair and spoke to the owner, Rodd. I explained my problem and he agreed to stay late and complete the work on my truck so I could get on with my route. Come to find out, Rodd and his wife were literally all packed and ready to go to the lake but they put off their trip to help me out! They really went above and beyond!I highly recommend RZ Repair. They are friendly, professional and very reasonably priced.

Absolutely horrible, don't go here, radiator flush and heat tube, what the owner called it, $774 in labor, $ 234 in parts, half of which wasn't needed and and oil change that wasn't requested, I just got one. TOTAL 1022.70. every other shop I called said $600 max repair. He is very shady. You did take advantage, it could have been fixed half the cost, but you choose to be dishonest, or not have the knowledge how to run a business.

Had a flat next door. They loaned us a portable air tank and fixed out flat tire right away. Great job!!!
