Very disappointed with this dealership service department. This is my second time coming to this dealership for service. I was working with Gage and he was helpful. Until I asked how much would I need to pick up my car just for them to diagnose the same problem I knew of. I already paid a fee at the independence location. Gage then said it was $330 for a diagnostic fee. I said why? Normally it s $100-$150. He acted like he didn t know and needed more time. He needed more time so he will call me back the next day. Never got a call. My truck was already sitting there for two weeks. He never followed up with me. I have already decided not to get serviced there because he kept giving me the run around after I called multiple times. Monday before the storm came I picked up my car and Gage was not there. But the front desk agent told me it was ready. And the fee was $165 still overboard. I just want to know why was I told two different prices? They only want your money and service is trash. Hard getting into contact with someone.After my car was towed back to my house, the next day I noticed a huge part was off my car. I called you guys to see why the part was never put back on. No one could give me an answer. I spoke to three different people. Finally spoke with Lindsay she TRID TO BRIBE ME & told me that I needed to take this review down before they can come out to my home to put the part on and refund me my money. I was SHOCKED! Then she had someone in the background telling her what to say. So I asked who it was talking because it s rude! Kelly told me he would call me back and it was their fault. They will schedule a time and refund me. First of all, my previous review has nothing to do with you not putting my part back on. My car is now leaking oil from that area where the part is missing. And now I believe I am owed a free service because it s been over a month and no one has called me! You guys have my number. I have emailed, I wrote the contact us form and no one has called.

I have nothing but nice things to say about everyone at this dealership. My salesman Miguel and the staff made everything go smoothly and I was able to get the car I wanted! I would definitely buy from them again! I love my new Jeep!

I arrived at McCarthy CDJR and was immediately met with a smile. My salesman, whom I had previously talked to by phone, was extremely helpful and wanted to be sure that I traded for the RAM that I would be happy with. My truck was old but they still allowed what it was worth on the trade. Negotiations were easy and I left with a 2015 RAM that I am extremely happy with at a price I wanted. Everyone stayed late to see this deal to completion and I owe everyone a big thanks. My new truck is nine years old but they provided a free one month warranty, two free oil changes, a three month sirius xm subscription, and made me feel right at home. The next morning I received a text welcoming me to the McCarthy family, and that just topped it off. For a no pressure car or truck buying experience, I highly recommend McCarthy CDJR.

My girlfriend took her truck here and they forgot to put the part back on her car. They were rude and tried to bribe her into taking her review down in order to assist her. She hasn t received any calls about it. They said they would come and schedule a time to put the part back on and give her a refund. No one has called. She is so disappointed and in need of a new car now. It sucks we tried to get assistance and wanted to do service with you guys but this is the second time of being lied to.She deserves a free service to fix that part now! Nobody has reached out and called. It s been way over a month.

In January 2024 we were in dire need of a 4x4 to maneuver the recent snowstorm! We were not able to get out of our driveway! We met with Jack Fleming, Sales Advisor, and he showed us a couple of Pre Owned Trucks on the lot. We bought one that night! Jack has been a man of his word, and has followed through with any promise he had made us. Service Department also very good with customer service issues. Jeff was really nice and very informative. There was another younger gentlemen that was very nice too but I don't know his name. I got my transmission serviced. Didn't take long considering they said they only had two techs that day. Jeff came out to the lobby to find me and tell me that they did an inspection on the jeep and saw that the ball joint on the front right had play and the tierod on the front left had play as well. He said it will not pass the safety inspection if it's not addressed by the time I get tag renewal. I love when shops do this, they let you know if they see something that doesn't look right cause then you can address it in a timely fashion instead of it surprising you later. All-in-all, I had a good experience with the gentlemen at McCarthy Jeep. Great service!

Jack was a pleasure to work with. Funny, personable salesman that wasn t too pushy. I was on a time crunch the day in went in to purchase my Jeep and Jack, Jesse, and the rest of the team there got me signed and out the door with my new Jeep quickly. Would highly recommend buying from them.

Completely painless experience- Keenan had us on a test drive in minutes, listened to our needs and had us out in a new truck in no time. No one was pushy or aggressive, just incredibly helpful. We will absolutely return for our next vehicle.

Ladies beware! They will see you coming! I have bought tons of cars and buying this Escalade from them, has been the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I worked with Brad and Geoff and nothing they sd was true. 2 days after buying the truck it was back in the shop when Brad sd it went thru a 182 pt inspection. Picked it up and am still having the same problems. Please just take my word and don't waste your time here, they are shysters!

This dealership was great to work with! By far the largest Wrangler inventory in the area. Great communication, accessible and personable staff and most importantly, we negotiated mainly via text/phone, which is huge for us as busy working parents. Tyler and Keenan were so helpful getting us into the right cars! We couldn t be happier that we found our way to McCarthy Jeep in Lees Summit.

Our 2021 Pacifica has been taken there a few times because of minor things that couldn t be fixed, took it in for the notorious Pentastar valve train noise of which I was told it was normal until it comes out of my pocket I m sure. They agreed to replace our side mirror that the glass popped out of, got the vehicle back and window wouldn t roll all the way down. I immediately knew they didn t route the mirror harness properly, so I decided to fix it myself instead of making the 70 mile round trip and then sit there for two hrs, not only was I right when I took it apart but the wire harness was not secure either, window almost cut the wire harness in half. I m a huge fan of Mopar but all the negative experiences I ve had with their warranty is a joke!

Great service, great people. They really made it easy and convenient. I had to get my vehicle serviced and also needed a repair. Everyone I have done business with and/or talked to there explained everything thoroughly and made the process very easy.I purchased this vehicle there about a year and a half ago and have continued to take it back for service. They are truly kind, honest, and professional. Great experience every time.

We went looking for a vehicle to replace the one we leased as the lease was just about up. We went to McCarthy to look at various options. Derek was our sales person and did a wonderful job guiding us through the various options available. Once we decided on a vehicle Derek took care of everything. From the finance to delivery he was on top of it all. I would recommend this dealership and Derek specifically if you re in the market for either a new or used car.

Communication was really bad. Once we checked our vehicle in we get a text message for communication of the status of our vehicle. However, no one ever responded to the texting, so we called the service dept, no one answers, we are ask to leave a message and number to call back but no one does. The only way we received communication was to drive up to the business service department and even at that, no one acknowledges that you are even there. From December 14 through January 29th we finally got our vehicle back with a replacement air conditioner compressor. I expect the work they did was fine. Just had to wait many days with no communication from the dealership.

Do not recommend this dealership at all, especially because the service department is joke. I had to bring my vehicle in for a 7 am appointment scheduled 9 days out cause that s all they had available and ask for a courtesy vehicle to get to work. I was denied. Told they don t do that here. But did mention a shuttle I could use. So I inform them I needed to leave by 815 PM make my 9 o clock meeting. 810 rolls around and shuttle driver is out and should be back soon . So I try to be as patient as possible asking a couple times if there was an eta.. but at 845, they must have just been annoyed and gave my truck back and said they d need more time to diagnose what was wrong . Hell of a place! Extended warranty is not worth it at all either. Don t waste your time or money at this place

Positive first, the customer service I received from my service advisor was top notch. He (Jeff) was so kind and always trying to be comforting and seemed to be willing to work & relate questions on my behalf.Other than that everything else was poor service and quality. I took my car to have electrical work done and was given 7-10 days for my part to come in and 1 day labor to replace it. Part came in but I was told my tech had already been assigned additional work and I would have to wait for him to finish before he could start on my vehicle. Mind you I had called on day 7 so they knew I was planning and preparing for my part to come in in another 3 days and for them to start working on my vehicle but instead of properly planning for that they over scheduled my tech with new services and made my service which had already been waiting 10 days wait longer. It takes 3 1/2 more days, 2 of which my car just sat there waiting for someone to get to it and a day and a half to put it in. I come in when it's done and had it for a total of 5 minsand drove it less than 1 mile to the gas station down the street. It completely started malfunctioning for the main thing I brought it in and paid $2,000 for after being reassured that they ran all these tests and everything was working perfectly.I called them immediately And brought it back in at the end of the week and was informed that the part was faulty and they would have to send it back to the manufacturer and get a new part (another 7-10 days rushed). This whole time I'm being patient, kind, and understanding even though I have to wait another 10 days for them to refix the thing I already paid for and was assured was working perfectly when they tested it. 10 days later I see if they got my part and will start working when I was informed my tech was sick and they only like the tech that worked on the vehicle to stay with the vehicle so I had to wait for the tech to not be sick to start. 2 days go by I call again and now the tech is back but again he is backlogged and my vehicle would need to wait as he catches up. 2 more days I finally get my car back and 2nd time I get my vehicle the main issue was fixed but, my electrical for my doors and my door locks were not working which were working previously before.At this point I've been without my vehicle for a month so I let the tech know again something on my vehicle is broken and it was treated as if it was totally unrelated to the work that they had done. I schedule to bring my car in and sit with it until it's fixed completely and correctly this time. I come in and had to wait from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. even though I scheduled it they did not have a tech that specializes in electrical available to figure it out.I wasn't told that until 1pm. I waited all day with my toddler no food while they tried to figure it out. Only to find out that the original Tech never did a system restart to merge the new electrical system with my old electrical system which was literally as simple as taking the battery out waiting a couple seconds and putting it back in.While waiting I called customer service number which said to do before a bad review. I spoke to a lady who seemed very concerned with how this process was handled and made it seem like there would be some type of action or at least a sincere apology. Shortly after this call my vehicle was finally ready and she came out to talk to me. She was very friendly and kind and was trying to be relatable which I appreciate, but made the excuse that because my car was an electrical issue that's why I had to do a lot of the waiting because electrical experienced techs are limited. It completely disregarded the fact that there were times where my tech was available and my car was just skipped over because of poor planning and skipped over the fact that my vehicle wasn't done correctly two times prior to this. By this point I was happy to have my vehicle back and saw that everything was working and was just over it and had already made up my mind that I was never coming back there again.

My vehicle was in the service department for two months. I received one update on my vehicle from Dec 7th to Dec 29th. Any other updates was only because I drove up to the dealership to find out what was going on. There supposed to be an oil change completed and it was not done. My vehicle stopped on my husband and found out that the oil was not changed, it had no antifreeze, power steering fluid or windshield wiper fluid. Thankfully he was at a gas station and was able to buy oil and antifreeze to get the vehicle to start ago. There is still an issue with my radio that has not been addressed. I was told that they were in the process of getting a new radio but I have not heard anything since. I expressed to Kelly how pissed I was with this whole ordeal and I got asked why. As if he had no clue as to what was going on. He then said have a nice day and turned his back on me. I have been a customer for over 15yrs. I don t understand why I am being treated this way. Someone needs to contact me about the radio immediately. If I could give negative stars I would. I only selected 1 star because I had to. I know this will fall on deaf ears but your service department is in the dumps and I can t believe you treat customers this way. Good day

I have been going to Lees s Summit McCarthy s service department for several years. Their service department has always been helpful and swift. I have come as a walk in and they did their best to accommodate me. I have had many diagnostics done and they never have been pushy about what repairs or service I needed. I have towed cars to them and they always did their best to fix my car s issues.This time, Missy was fantastic in letting me know what was going on with my Jeep and always got back to me as soon as possible.Great experience with the service department.

I typically have amazing experience at this dealership as I ve come to this specific location for all of my services since 2020.But my most recent experience (12/29/2023) was not the best. I requested a few services (3) and everything was back ordered or could not be done (which I had a scheduled appointment) so I could only receive my oil change ..I was also told that the Jeep radio system replacement had gone up about $600 from an estimate I was given two months prior. No real explanation as to why and no offer to find a way to make payments on a service that went from $700 to $1200 Not sure what happened but this isn t the service I m used to at this location and I m unsure if I ll be returning.

I received a coupon from the dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. I was so happy that they answered their phone AND had an appointment available. They got my car in and serviced it quickly and well. I intend to use this McCarthy dealership for all of my service needs and when it s time to trade in my Jeep they ll have my business.
