Needed my truck repaired after a small collision and chose Mccarthy to do the work. I was told it would take about 2 1/2 weeks due to OEM parts availability as a result of the GM strike. Well, exactly 2 1/2 weeks later , my truck was done!! They did a very good job restoring my truck to it's original condition. However, as I was driving home, I noticed some stains on my seat, that I know were not there prior to dropping off my truck. I went back to the dealership and contacted Caleb, the service rep. He immediately took my truck to the detail department and had the seat cleaned. The next day, I noticed that the stains were still there and went back to the dealership. The service manager was present and took my truck back to detail to have the seat cleaned again. The stains never came out. Contacted Caleb again and was told they would order a new seat cover. Waiting to hear back from them. I will try and update this review once the seat cover has been replaced. Mccarthy would have gotten 5 stars if the bodyshop would have been a little more careful while doing the work.

WOW! McCarthy made my car look better than new! Thank you for going above and beyond for me. I loved being able to turn my rental in to you instead of juggling returning it and picking up my car at the same time. Loved your friendly and competent staff so much. If I need a collision center again, it will be McCarthy.

Lauren is amazing!!! The BEST communication & customer service I ve ever had at any car place. Definitely recommend you to use them for any repairs you have for your car. They did an impeccable job!

Had brought my car in October 18th for a deer accident, which I was promptly told that they "were itchin for something to work on". The first week or so of updates texts seemed to show nice progress. I got a text saying my car was ready for paint by October 27th, but then told on November 1st that a new hood arrived damaged, the due date got postponed until the 15th of November. which pulled me out of my rental car agreement. When I asked to speak to a manager about a possible assistance for either a loaner or rental they said the "manager would call me", as of the 22nd of November he has yet to call me. car was still in line for paint as of November 15th with no updates. November 20th i had to call because there was no update on painting and we were getting close to thanksgiving, they said it was at assembly but gave no updates on if it was assembled until i called on Wednesday morning which they said it was going through post diagnostics, and when i called at noon on 11/22 they said it was in clean up and test driving/quality control and i should be able to have it by that evening. I requested to speak to a manager AGAIN and was told they would leave a note. I am writing this on the day before thanksgiving, with no update on if the care was finished and ready for pickup and no manager has called me. I will update this accordingly but for now i cannot suggest this to take a car to, and if the painting of the car has dirt under it like the last time I took my car there i might not see my car until January at this rate. UPDATE: i received a call the day after thanksgiving from the manager Tim and he helped resolve the issue as best we could, i got my car that same day and we noticed a few issues with the hood and the fender not being flush or fully aligned, the offered for me to bring it back in on Monday to get it fixed, i brought it back in and they were able to get the hood aligned but apparently because they are after market and not OEM parts they will not be able to be flush.

After using another dealership in Lee's Summit for 15 years I decided to take my business to McCarthy after the previous dealership's service became very poor. McCarthy continues to have incredible service and my experience with the collision center was exceptional. The work was done quickly, the team communicated with me each day, and my truck was repaired very well. They even cleaned the truck better than I ever clean it myself. The body shop at McCarthy Chevrolet did a great job on Hyundai sonata it needed a new front bumper and several other thingsThey took really good care of my car .The shop kept me informed of the progress of fixing my vehicle which I really appreciated it .I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done to their vehicle. Did a good job with the paint finish and reassembly. Unfortunately because the wrong bumper parts were used, my hands free liftgate on my Ford Escape Titanium has not worked since. I brought this to their attention in person and never received any followup.

Went here because it was one of insurance companies select service shops. We've had the vehicle back about 1 month now after repair from hitting a deer. They had said it'd be ready for pick-up a week before we actually got it back. We had to replace the battery within a week of getting it back from shop, the check engine light periodically comes on, we took it back twice for them to fix the turn signal, which now works, and it is still making a whistling sound that has been happening randomly since we got it back. Maybe they're just random occurrences and not repair-realted, but seems ironic to me.

I would like to Thank Matt and the entire crew at the collision center at McCarthy. I appreciate that my car was pulled in nightly and was detailed when the car was completed. They were very good at communication. Keeping me updated every other day at the progress. The car looks fantastic and I am completely satisfied. I would recommend these guys to anyone. I have used McCarthy Chevy and have bought several vehicles at McCarthy Hyundai. Your company is very well run and looks out for the customer. Thanks again

I was sent to McCarthy when someone rear ended my Toyota Camry. The staff were very friendly and came across very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. When I dropped off my car, Enterprise was scheduled to come pick me up. But when I was told it would be 45 minute wait, the shop manager told them that was not acceptable and he drove me there himself. After the repair was done and picked up my car, it was repaired and washed and looked great! Thank you, McCarthy Auto and Collision!

The service was very friendly and faster than I anticipated. I had to get the electric seat worked on and they ended up taking it apart and replacing the switch. The people were very helpful and called me several times to update me on the process while I was at work. It did cost more than I was anticipating, but I was glad they took care of it quickly and were easy to work with!

Other than a speed sensor needing r&r (easy to access and replace), excellent service. Very flexible, courteous, and professional. Loved the loaner they provided for the time my vehicle was in the body shop!! Definitely will have them do some work on my project when the time comes. 10/10.

I hit a deer with my 18 Silverado purchased at this dealership. Since I purchased the vehicle from this dealer I felt like I should use them for the repairs.It couldn't have gone more smoothly, from their handling after I notified my insurer all the way thru returning my repaired vehicle.The repairs are fantastic and the communication throughout the whole deal was top notch.
