I took my truck to McCarthy after taking it to another dealership. The other dealership told me there wasn t anything wrong with my truck. That the whistling I was hearing was normal. That it was the turbo. I couldn t believe that because it was to loud. Jeremy Chancellor listened to my complaint and compared it to another truck like mine. There was a difference. After parts were ordered I took my truck back and it was repaired by the mechanic. I am very pleased with the service I received.

I had an incredible customer experience working with Chris Pointers in the service department. I initially received a diagnosis from an outside company stating that my vehicle's alternator was going out. However, upon the diagnostic inspection at the dealership, it was determined that the issue was actually with the battery. While I had hoped it would be the alternator since it would have been covered under my warranty protection plan, I decided to do some research to find a better price for the repair.I found a better price at another company, but the dealership informed me that there would be a diagnostic fee. After discussing my concerns about the fee and the option of going to another company with my wife, we ultimately decided it was better to have the dealership replace the battery and pay the additional charge than what the other company was charging.When it came time to pay for the repaired vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Chris had adjusted the total cost to be just a few dollars more than what the other company was going to charge. This was quite a surprise and a great demonstration of what great customer service looks like.

Ross helped me out and it was the easiest, quickest, most painless process! Usually, when you have to bring the car in, it s nothing but bad news and I was really nervous. But he was very knowledgeable, timely, and truly made everything so easy and manageable, kept me informed, and was very kind all the while! Super happy with my experience!

Awful experience since I purchased the vehicle in 2019. Engine went bad within warranty time. They tried to say it was no longer valid when they actually just forgot to file the warranty. After it got fixed they replaced the engine and gave it back to me with issues. Had to return it twice to get fixed. Within 6 months the motor is bad and they stated they will not replace or fix unless the engine has blown up. Although the warranty is still valid. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from McCarthy

Dillon and the rest of the team were super helpful in explaining to me what was going on with my car. They were all super transparent on pricing and explaining to me my options. If I run Into any other issues (hopefully not) I ll be sure to bring my car back to them!

I arrived for my 8am appointment at 8:15 am. Upon entering there were 5-6 staff members working. They all looked up and completely ignored me. As a customer I thought it was the worst response ever. I understand they may have been working on something but how about a good morning sir someone will be right with you . I had never used your services before and the initial customer service was horrible. I kept waiting for some type of acknowledgement of my presence. Finally a young man that was in the far right hand corner (wish I could remember his name) greeted me and helped me considerably. The rest of your staff could learn a lot from him. I don t think the problem was anymore than horrific customer service. Most of that team is screaming for customer service training.

I bought a used vehicle from McCarthy and it came with a 3 month warranty, which was awesome! However, wouldn't you know it, a problem I was having with the vehicle that I thought was the battery turned out to be a brake relay switch. Unfortunately, I didn't discover that was the problem until month 4 1/2. McCarthy service team figured out the issue, and fixed it the same day. 9 months later, the switch went out again. I now know Nissan Armada is famous for this issue.... McCarthy got me in the same morning I called them, and had it fixed in time to go to a doctor appointment at 2pm for my son. They even made sure I got to work on time when I dropped the vehicle off. I am super impressed with the gentleman that helped me, and they honored a 1-year parts warranty I didn't even know about, so that I didn't have to pay anything to get it fixed! Everyone was really helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend Lees Summit McCarthy Chevrolet service team!

Went to get an oil change. Knew I had bulge I the sidewall of my front driver side tire. I opted to get my tires rotated while I was there getting an oil change. After my service was complete, I went out to my vehicle to find that I still had a bulge in the front driver side tire. I checked the rest of my tires to make sure I didn't have a bulge in any of my other tires. Went back in to tell them that I think they missed the tire rotation service. The service rep went to the mechanic who supposedly did the tire rotation and asked if they did. The mechanics said that they had done a rotation and the rep followed me out to the car to look. I pointed out the bulge in my front tire and he said "I don't know, I didn't see the bulge before the rotation." I would LOVE to see the camera footage if they believed they rotated my tires. Makes me wonder if they actually changed my oil now...

Service personnel were very professional and helpful. We definitely will use them again. However, sales manager was not and I highly do not recommend buying there. We ended up driving across town and immediately bought from another location (Morse) which were helpful and fast. Its worth the drive!

Came in with temperature sensor issues and thermostat, left with same. Apparently extended warranty expired 30 days after it was paid for. Still having issues with ignition. Was charged $192 for absolutely nothing, them telling me what I told them was wrong with the truck when I walked in. Horrible experience. Just a mess. And who buys 60,000 mile extended warranty only to cover electrical? That's what I was told I paid for. A joke.

If I could leave negative stars I would. Tried up charging me for unnecessary repairs that never needed done in the first place ($3100 total). Towed vehicle to cable dahmer and poof, magically it was less than $200 to fix the issues. None of the issues with the vehicle that McCarthy told me were actually true. Way to be dishonest with your customers and deceive them just to fill your greedy pockets. Never again will I bring my business to McCarthy Chevy. Do yourself a favor and trust a different service department ladies and gentlemen.

There should be a designated person to greet customers as they enter the service area. I walked in and stood for a while before someone finally greeted me. The someone who greeted me wasn t even sitting at a desk when I entered, he happened to walk in from a room behind the desk. I thought to myself, why couldn t someone sitting in front of me just take two seconds to say someone will be right with you rather than ignoring the person that just walked in. I waited a while longer, and then another gentleman came from a room from behind the desk, and was about to sit down And he asked ma am has anyone helped you and I said no. I had an appointment for a diagnostic Charge to determine why my seat belt light was on. He then told me that Ross was the service coordinator that would be helping me, but that he would get things started. I greatly appreciated his help because everyone else just ignored me.About an hour later I received a phone call from Ross of the results. It was a pretty expensive bill but it was something I needed to have done so I agreed to the work being done right then. When I returned to pick up my vehicle. I went through the same Rude behavior again. Eventually a man said to me how can I help you. He said that Ross was on a call, which I don t know who Ross is in person. I ve only spoken with him over the phone. He proceeded to tell me my total, and when I pulled out my credit card, he said it s a 3% charge to use a credit card. I ve been said wow I was not aware of that that something that I wish the gentleman who I spoke with had made me aware. Shane then quickly responded that it s the new policy and it s been that way since October. This totally caught me off guard because that was extremely rude and tacky by how he responded. I then replied this is my first time at this location I normally go to the Metcalf location. Again, Shane was rude, he then said we have signs up everywhere. My mouth dropped! I could not believe the level of unprofessionalism and how rude he was. I said to him, you re very rude and how you just responded to me was very unprofessional. You just basically said to me, all you had to do was read, and you would know this. I told him that s exactly what that just sounded like. This was my first time at your location and it s just good practice to let someone know there is a fee if you use a credit card, but there is no fee if you use a check or a debit card. I did not bring a debit card. I only brought my credit card as I was in a rush and I like a crewing points on my card. But I would ve just brought cash if I had known the percentage. That s neither here nor there it was the level of unprofessionalism And the fact that I didn t like how I wasn t greeted either times the way a customer should be treated. Especially when you re spending that much money at this place of establishment. Needless to say, I will not return to this location ever again!

Dave Creasy is the best. Has taken care of our family for decades. Truly a trusted advisor, even when we could find a lower price for tires elsewhere. The installation was supposed to be 2 hours but they put a rush on as I had another appointment.

Not had great experience with this dealership and their service dept since I bought my car in December. Salesman was great everything else not even close. Very disappointed truthfully as I was referred to the dealership by a few people.

Been a year or so waiting for the heated steering wheel chip to be installed in my 2023 trailblazer. Among the backup assist. I finally stopped in dealership to find out what was going on. It was reported to me that parts were in and ready to be installed. Waited 2 hrs for installation. At that time it was reported to me that the heated steering wheel part was not available. And i would need to come back once the part was available. and wait another 2 hours. Never received notification that All the parts are in and ready for installation. And the steering wheel must have been sent back. Really!! Why?

Got my 2023 Chevy truck serviced here this past week, from scheduling to the completed service was seamless and fast. Had the oil changed and tires rotated, took about an hour before they called and stated it was ready to be picked up. This was my first time using them for maintenance, and will use them again.

Had radiator replaced. When I went to pick it up, radiator hose leaking at the dealership and now needs to be replaced. Had to leave the vehicle another day for an additional repair. I feel this should have been caught by the mechanic after the radiator installation.

Well, was in and out for oil change and tire rotation in a decent amount of time and they even were able to take care of a warranty item due to a bad switch in the tailgate of my 2022 2500HD. Apparently the process of tire rotation has changed and now they simply move front tires to back and back tires to front. Old school was criss crossing front tires to rear, which in my opinion allows for extended tread wear, but hey what do I know. I did notice that when I took my vehicle in for service I had 80psi in rear tires and 60 psi in front as per manufacturer recommendations. I noticed when leaving ALL tires were between 65 and 68 psi. There you have it. My review.
