Purchased a new 2024 High Country Silverado for my wife. Ethan was the McCarthy associate that was assisting my wife and I with the sale, and was fantastic to work with. I wasn t able to be there in person for the entirety of the process but Ethan went above and beyond to make sure that my wife felt like she was part of the McCarthy family. Smooth and seamless buying experience, we will be purchasing our next vehicle from there when the time comes.

I had a GREAT experience while buying this car! Roman was very easy to work with and he knew a lot about the features of the car! Jake, the sales manager, was awesome! He was so personable and worked hard to get us the best deal possible. Chris C. was so great while we signed papers. Everyone was so so nice and fun! Went in last friday to work a deal on a new trade in they had posted online. The truck was nasty and they said it was in line to get some things fixed on it and get it detailed.They gave me some basic numbers but said they couldnt give exact numbers because they didnt know how much it was gonna cost to fix everything. I touched base with them Saturday an they sent me a video of the truck in repair line saying they would call me when it was all fixed. I talked to them this morning an was waiting for it to go through the shop. Now i just find out they sold it. So did they sell it to someone with stuff still broken ? Either way. Horrible customer service for me. Bad business as far as im concerned. Definitely didnt keep their word to me. Wont ever be back.

Ethan and Roman were absolutely amazing! I'd been communicating with Roman for a few months about the Trax then decided to inquire about the Trailblazer. Within 3 hours Roman had 3 Trailblazers located and I had an appointment to test drive!Upon arriving Roman was with another customer so we were greeted by Ethan who was quickly brought up to speed on what I was looking for. He showed us a few and then suggested the Activ, got me great financing and a monthly payment I could handle! Roman joined after he wrapped up with his customer, we test drove the Trailblazer Activ and we decided that was the one we wanted! We found both Roman and Ethan to be up front, hard working and easy going! 10/10 would definitely recommend to friends & family!

My salesman Mike waldren was awesome! He listened to ny needs and delivered. Jake the sales manager was great! It didn t take him long to get me approved and Chris the finance manager was fast with the paperwork/ computer! I had a great experience at McCarthy Chevrolet in Lee's summit my salesperson Ian was kind and responsive. He helped me find a vehicle that worked perfectly for me and my needs. My husband and I were extremely pleased with our experience. From start to finish everyone there was professional kind and responsive. I would send friends to McCarthy Chevrolet in Lee's summit and will do so. It has been less than 24 hours since I picked up my car and I have already made a referral to a friend I hope they follow through and purchase a car at McCarthy Chevrolet when they can.

So I m gonna be honest about what happened. Sales and service were great. My issue lies in the aftermath of having the car for 18 days. I bought a pre owned 2018 Camaro ZL1 for roughly $52000 with a little over 28000 miles on it so a sports car with low miles. I left the lot with it found within a day or two that the remote app features didn t work dealt with onstar for a week trying to work out what was wrong ended up bring it in and found the onstar module was bad they replaced it no questions asked and were fantastic to work with. Now here is where we take the turn I work for GM Fairfax I work nights so I don t get time during the day to wash my car and wipe it down like I would like to but I did get to on the 17 day I found a crack in my paint that looks as though it s been repaired at some point if it s done right no issues but it apparently wasn t now I know I bought a used car I expect some rock chips and minor damage. I don t expect major paint and or body work to have to be done to a car that I just bought. I brought it up after I found it cracked and was met with a story of I m gonna be honest with you, you bought a used car you can t expect us to make it right. He then said you can get it fixed yourself why don t you go get a quote from our body shop. I went around to the body shop and was given an estimate of around $2600 to repair a car that I just bought for $52000 with 28000 miles on it. I did give the estimate to manager and asked can we meet somewhere in the middle after 5-10 min of standing there he finally said I pass it along to my GM see what he says but I highly doubt they ll fix it. I m frustrated with the fact they just washed their hands of it and weren t even willing to even help with the cost of it as though I bought a $10000 car with 100000 miles. So in conclusion I just wanna say that this was my first and last car that I m buying from them.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with McCarthy Chevrolet of Lees Summit. From the time we walked into the building, everyone was helpful and courteous. Our sales coordinator, Walter Jones, was the most knowledgeable, professional, and friendly as I ve ever had. It was -8 degrees with the wind blowing around 20 miles a hour when we decided to look at the vehicle that day. Walter didn t hesitate to go in and out of the warm building to get us everything we needed for our buying choices. Once we decided on the right vehicle, Walter set everything in motion and said he would do everything possible to get us what we wanted. He absolutely came through for us. Once he turned us over to the finance department, we already had everything set in stone, we just had to sign and drive. What a wonderful team they have at McCarthy Chevrolet. We were very lucky to find them and let them take care of us.

I took my Silverado in for brakes. They replaced pads and rotors on both axles and replaced one caliper as well. While there were a couple delays due to a stubborn screw and a diagnostic tool that was temporarily down, Jeffrey and Ross did a great job of keeping me updated throughout the whole process. They gave me a complimentary rental overnight and had my truck ready at 8am the next morning. It s running better than ever.

My first encounter while walking around the car lot was with Seth he was super nice and pulled out his calculator to help me with all my questions. He made sure he gave me all his contact information which was nice because I ended calling him the next morning inquiring about a test ride on a particular car.Seth was not working this day but he made sure he gave all my information to a co-worker and he assuredme that I was in good hands with Ian. We get there and Ian introduces himself to my entire family which was there to support my son in purchasing his first Car. Ian had a lot in common with my son because as we found out thathe graduated from the same high school as my son he also attended the same college.As I said before my entire family was with me and my mother started feeling a little lightheaded. Ian had no problem with jumping into action going to get her a snack and making sure we had a beverage to keep us hydrated. At this time we weren t just potential customers we were human beings! At the end it was a Win Win situation because not only did Ian complete a sale but my son is ridding away with a big smile on his face.Ian will always be remembered as a part of my son s journey in life. Outstanding experience! Ian was very professional and upfront! I went to try to buy a 2019 Dodge Challenger but it was sold, however I left with a 2017 Chevy Camaro with only half the mileage of the Challenger! Had an appointment for 9:30 for an oil change and tire rotate. My job requires the use of my truck. Needed to be some place an hour and half drive time away for meeting at 11:30. Took my truck in early and told the Serviceman the deal and ask if possible to get it in earlier than my appointment. He worked with me and got it right in and I was able to make my meeting. I give a big shout out of thank you. You guys are great.

My buying experience was great Charles Trumps was a great salesman. Seven months later I traded in my truck and wanted to get a refund on the balance of my extended warranty and that is where the wheels came off. Let me start with saying I live about 1.5 hours from the dealer ship. I called and left 4-5 messages for Ryan Viscomi the finance manager to call me back. After I didn't get any calls back I decided to drive to the dealership to get it done. When I arrived at the dealer ship I spoke with Charles and he told me that Ryan was on a call and it shouldn't be more than 10 minutes. After waiting more than 20 minutes he walked out of his office past me and went out to the parking lot and traded vehicles with what I can only assume was his wife based on the interaction. Once I finally had a chance to speak with him I mentioned the phone calls and all I got was we prefer to do this in person. When I was told by Charles and the operator it could have been handled over the phone. No sorries just down to the point I handed him my paperwork signed one piece of paper and I was gone this all could have been handled via the Internet with a scanner. I have purchased over 30 vehicles for my family over the last 10 years. This will be my last with McCarthy if he is still employed.

We had a great experience with our salesman, Dylan. My husband and I purchased two vehicles, cash. Very disappointed they didn t follow through with fixing a speaker cover on the Escalade, that they agreed to do. This was also in the paperwork. My husband has followed up several times. The last time they said they would get back to him, and haven t heard anything. Purchased the vehicle about 10 months ago. Will definitely take our business elsewhere, in the future.

I was sent several coupons in the mail. Had a 10 off any service, a bonus coupon and match competitors coupons. I wasn't able to use the competitors coupon because the one I had wasn't a dealership (not specifically specified on the coupon and it wasnt mentioned when i called to verify i could use a digital version) nor was I able to use the BONUS coupon of another $5 off because they wouldn't combine (also not mentioned on the flier and why would it be a bonus if i couldnt combine)? I asked, and the manager from service didn't even come talk to me, just passed along the word of no. I came home to check the flier to verify all the details of the flier and i was right on all of it (i had tore apart the coupons in case i couldnt use them all). The person helping us was very uninterested in being there or helping us as well. I don't think this was very good customer service and I was, and still, very frustrated especially after all the money we have spent here.

I called the parts department because I had ordered and paid for an air dam for my 2023 Ram 1500 in February and after 2 months they had not called to say it was in. I made an appointment to have the part installed April 15. I took the truck in, the service advisor checked to make sure the part was there and it was. When the mechanic too the service ticket to parts they gave him everything but the air dam. So he ASSUMED the part was not there. It took 5 hours for him to do the rest of the work on the ticket, which he marked as taking 6/10 of and hour. This is the 2nd time I have haken my truck in to have this part installed. The first time it took 3 days for them to admit they had ordered (and I had paid for) the wrong part! Do not use this dealership for anything other than oil changes!

Lauren was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and the only person on my side when the insurance company flubbed my claim. She is THE person that consistently told me the truth and helped guide me through the minefields that is modern insurance adjudication. She went above and beyond what should be her job. In the end, the car was totaled (Lauren told me that the first time she saw it, the second time and the third time) and I didn't use the body shop. It's not right to have to use a body shop as a claims adjustor but Lauren and McCarthy will do what they have to do for you. Still, Lauren and McCarthy won my business should I need a collision shop in the future.

Lousy experience. Had been casually looking for a Truck for a couple weeks. Visited several dealers and narrowed search to one used truck on their lot. Salesman had been weak on getting back to me and answering questions. Finally agreed to terms. Then they pulled the MPP sheet. A package of items discounted in price that was included. About $1400.I reluctantly agreed because I really wanted the truck. Was sitting at desk waiting/ready to sign paperwork. Then they made a mistake on my trade. They already had vin number. Mistake came to $3,000.00. Of course I walked away.Maybe they did it on purpose to be able to sell at better price to another interested party? Not happy at all.

I was wanting to look at a specific car but it was in Olathe but luckily Roman Rodriguez was able to help me out by bringing it down here for me to look at. Extremely helpful, friendly and willing to work with me the entire time. After I purchased the car I noticed a bit of detail that got missed in the interior but they were extremely sincere and got it cleaned within the few minutes I was there. Absolutely 10/10 and would recommend everyone to check them out.

These guys are so friendly and professional. From the initial meeting of a sales rep on the phone to in person tour of available vehicles I was interested in viewing he was knowledgeable and helpful making my final choice easier. They even had a larger selection of vehicles than any other dealerships in the area. The financial department/final paperwork prep went smoothly and in no time at all I was finished and happily heading home with my new beauty !!

Service was great from Roman. He was very flexible to my needs and provided service that was over the top. He actually came from home after his shift to make sure my deal was done. On the other hand the finance person ( Chris ) and one of the managers ( Adam ) was very rude and condescending. But due to my relationship with Roman and his positive attitude and above and beyond service I will forever be grateful and appreciate his professionalism.

This review has been edited for my experience and the three months after purchase.Pros:Walter Jones, he is wonderful.Cons:Customer service needs some attention at McCarthy though. When purchasing a used vehicle, 5 years old at that. Asked if the battery could be checked, the service team came back with a lame excuse to check it. I still purchased the vehicle and not two months in, we had to replace it while it was negative degrees outside. The vehicle purchased, has auto on and off, the battery didn't have enough juice to use that enhancement. For two months, it didn't work until the battery was replaced. The battery also was missing a component. I had a few follow up questions in regards to finances, to no response. Once you leave the property, don't expect service. Honestly, wishing I walked away when I was told that the service team didn't want to check the battery due to the "location of the battery"

I had been searching for a particular car locally where I live and had not had any luck in finding one. I got in contact with an amazing salesman, and he found me exactly what I wanted and was even willing to meet me halfway between where I live and where they are. I had the most amazing experience, and would highly recommend!
