Randy owns the store-this is one of the best shops I ve ever been to. Randy is very smart and gets your car fixed right, and he is very honest, putting the customer first. I highly recommend this place!

They are awesome! From the interaction of the initial phone call it s a great experience! They qualify what I need, tell me an idea of how long it will take and the investment. Then they update me as they go, let me know if it will be more, and why or they let me know they were able to do it for less because there wasn t a bigger issue. These guys are great! I feel very taken care of at this shop.

Trust Randy and this shop 100% Have had multiple repairs/inspections here and have no complaints. Great customer service and communication throughout. Gave me options when available and the price was right.Edit: After looking through other reviews it is safe to say you can ignore any negative reviews. The 5 stars far outweigh any other rating.

I went in for new tires and a possible rear brake problem/replacement. I was surprised the mechanic actually said I don't have anything wrong with my brakes it's just brake dust so I did not need new brakes.How often do you go to mechanic and they tell you nothing is wrong? This shop has been taking care of all my cars for the last 15 plus years; they do a good job. I recommend them to anyone within reasonable driving distance.I almost never give 5 stars (to anyone), but Randy's crew in LSMO rate a solid 4.5 stars.

I had my car dropped off after hours on the weekend, the tow driver put my keys in the night drop. I had broken down on the side of the road late Friday night, and had the car towed on Saturday afternoon. Randy called me first thing Monday morning and I explained what happened, they had my car fixed and ready to go before noon the same day. Excellent service! They didn't overcharge me, and even let me know my brakes needed to be replaced soon, so I went ahead and had them do that too. I've been bringing my car to Randy at Total Auto Care since I've had it, maybe 3 years, I'm never disappointed with the service or the cost.

March 25 20221 week ago today, Randy and the Team from Lees Summit Total saved the day. I was trying to get out of town for a weeks worth of Spring break and car would not start. I replaced the battery, then alternator, still won t start. Called Randy and they were able to get my truck in and replaced the starter in less than 2 hours. Awesome work fellas. 5 out of 5 appreciate you guys.April 5 2022Once again, Randy and the team saved the day. For all your local mechanic work, I recommend you give them a call. 5 out of 5 again appreciate you guys. Support your local businesses.

Normally I would never give a small business a bad review. But $45 for a tire repair? Absolutely ridiculous. Beware if you go to this place you will pay way more than you're supposed to anywhere else.

I love this place! I'm a newer car owner, I've gone there for everything, from inspection to lower control arm replacement to some other things. They're so fast and nice. You could never meet such a great staff. I love going in there and the desk guy, Grant, is so funny and he's great to talk to when you're there for the wait. They have always gone farther than what I go in there for. Also, if you're confused on what the part is, the guy randy is so sweet, He does take photos and he has pulled up an animation on the Flat screen, to show what it does when it works right and what it looks like when it's broken. I always hear bad stories from other car places from people, but I don't have any! I'm a busy gal but they always work with me and they have a very convenient drop off keys option before they open. They are a little expensive but you do get what you paid for. Every cent is worth it! I will never go to another place, ever. I do recommend this place to anyone if you want a trusted, fast and great service.

Less then average customer service. If your renting a truck through Budget I would recommend paying a little more to use someone else. I walked in and asked if I was in the right place for Budget and Grant was sitting down (just hanging out) and responded with "Yeah, but I don't like it." Very much setting the tone for his customer service, or should I say, lack thereof. He quickly moved to assist another customer with tires and be overly helpful to him, leaving me to wait for over 15 minutes until Randy came in to step in and assist me. Randy was very professional and helpful. He was the only good thing about my visit. I've grown up around mechanics and small shops most of my life. Grant represented everything that small shops don't need a reputation for.

These guys saved me $8K.When I called, they were booked for the day (Saturday). I explained I was trying to buy a used car and wanted it looked at and the guy who answered the phone offered to look at it personally to make sure it got done. I was in under an hour, with a detailed writeup of the thousands of dollars in rust damage, and evidence of concealed collision damage. I will definitely be back again.

They're very nice people but they are VERY expensive. $522 for pads and rotors. My fault for not specifically requesting the quote before they installed the breaks.$119 to flush brake fluid. Yikes.

My Kia Sorento wouldn't start and I was stranded at the store. After confirming the battery was functional, I called a few mechanics around town. LS Total told me to bring it in. Towed it to them and I was updated on the diagnosis and various cost options before they did any work. Randy was very communicative and professional throught the whole process.Best of all, the starter motor was replaced in less than 3 hours. Incredible! I usually dread dealing with my car but this place made it so simple and stress free.Lee's Summit Total Auto is timely, honest, and fair which are 3 things I look for with a mechanic. Thank you for your great service. 10/10 highly recommend!

I had the best customer service experience ever! Randy was amazing at explaining everything and just a genuinely nice guy. I will never go anywhere else for my car care needs. I highly recommend Lee's Summit Total Auto Care to anyone who is looking to be taken care of by a honest, hard working, and caring business.

I m transitioning from using a well-known reputable car dealer for our Hyundai Sonata, our 12 year old car, after increasingly becoming frustrated with high prices and questionable diagnosis at the dealer service department. No place is perfect, for sure, I understand, but I weary of high pressure sales and service tactics. I ve used Lee s Summit Total Auto Care now several times for several issues. I ve been very pleased. I like supporting local small businesses when I can. They got me in on a timely manner, and did the work also in a very timely, professional manner. I did have a small but important issue on one incident. They got me in first thing the next morning and completely resolved it. Though the small gas station and car repair shop has the small local business charm of years gone by, they have very up to date diagnostic equipment and I ve been pleased with the computer receipt which very clearly shows what was diagnosed and done, as well as giving me prices and recommendations of what could or maybe should be done in the future. I feel confident going here, what needs to be done will get done, but unnecessary costly repairs will not be recommended or done. I definitely recommend this shop!I feel bad about some negative reviews below. Though there may have been some kind of communication issue which needed to be resolved courteously, the reviews are mean-spirited and unkind, written out of anger. I work in a retail environment where I experience customers who are in a hurry, want things cheap, and do not want to take the time to communicate well, and then accuse when there are misunderstandings. I would imagine this can happen even more at a car repair place where people s anxiety and defense levels are high. When this happens to me, I try to be patient and kind in return, and often that helps. Courtesy goes both ways!

Total failure to provide good service. I took my truck there with a specific brake problem. $730 dollars later I had the same exact problem and they were like take it to the dealer .Turns out the calipers were seizing and the rotor corroded. Why would that not be obvious to supposed brake expects.Although the people were nice enough, the quality of work was poor.I higher recommend you do not trust your repair work to this business.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! This weekend has been from hell! But, I was provided some grace from God, when out of desparation I contacted Randy at LS Total Auto Care. Not only did they repair my problem, they stayed late 2 days in a row to ensure that my car was back in working order. As a single mom, who works full time, and am a full time student, my car is my life line to being super woman. Randy, Grant, Steve, and others there provided me with quality service, fair and honest pricing (although I was at their mercy, I did price compare what they quoted me and it was better and certified!), and a nice, clean facility to wait. This was a fabulous find! I highly recommend this shop, and I guarantee I will be back for my future maintenance needs.

Been going here for eight years. Steve has always been honest with me and my wife about fixes. its the only shop i've been to that will tell you that you can do your own 10 minute fix for 20 bucks or have us do it for 50. It is nice to have that type of honesty. I plan on taking my car in this week for a heat shield repair. EDIT: Took car in for heat shield repair. Heat shield rattled was and was in bad shape. They removed it. $30.

My parents and I have been going here for years for car maintenance. Today even though they were crazy busy they were able to take a look at my car as I had been hearing howling in the front for a while. Found out the wheel bearings for both sides in the front were in bad shape and said they could go for a while without being replaced, but I decided to go ahead and get both sides taken care of since it was already in the shop. Glad I did as once I started driving it was night and day sound wise and noticed some other things had improved as I drove. Will always recommend them for anyone needing maintenance done to their car in the area.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! we are putting these people on the news and telling all of our friends about them. I work downtown and have A LOT of friends and followers. I will make sure everyone I know will never ever go here and will blast them on all social media outlets.My boyfriend and I are new to Greenwood, just purchased our first home. We came from Overland park and usually got our vehicles serviced in Johnson county. My boyfriend found this place bc they offered low rates. He asked them to change out the left wheel bearing bc he was told by another mechanic that the wheel bearing on the left side was going bad. When he went to pick up his car $260 later.... he noticed the awful noise was not gone!!! so of course, like anyone else would do..... he took it back and asked why the sound was still there. The guy had this to say " oh, the wheel bearing on the left side was fine, it was the right side that was messed up" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!??!?!? so why didn't they fix the right side instead of the left side? My boyfriend is by no means a mechanic... he was telling them what he thought was the problem.. isn't it their responsibility to call him if they noticed that he is requesting for an item to be fixed that has nothing wrong with it? that is the most crooked thing I have ever witnessed. He asked them to fix the right side since the left side had nothing wrong with it, and they refuse to. Honestly I think we could have even worked something out, maybe paid half but the man over the phone was soooooo rude. He kept talked over him saying "you asked for the left side that's not our fault" Do not go here.... We had someone else look at my boyfriends car and didn't even charge him a service fee and just felt sorry for us. My boyfriend works for an outreach group that feeds the homeless and houses them in the downtown KC area and we are very involved in the community. My boyfriend did not deserve this behavior, he called him and approached them with respect and was not given it in return.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE! Most people are already hesitant about going to automotive shops.....Why???? Its because of shops like this. If your not a certified mechanic and know exactly what s wrong with your vehicle....this place will lie and manipulate you into making you pay way more than you should pay....even worse they overcharge you and don t even solve your mechanical problem. I will never return to this shop! My hopes are people will read this and stay clear. Don t let them take advantage of you, like the did me.

Super nice guy that runs the place. I've only been there for budget truck rentals, but they seem like knowledgeable people. Halo have full service pumps, if you like that kind of thing.

LS Auto Care's motto explains it all: Excellence in Everything! I would highly recommend this business. Not only do they do quality work, they have been helping meet auto needs in Lee's Summit for a very long time!

The mechanics here are very honest. I had been told by a dealer that my problem couldn t be fixed but this place did their best to fix the problem and it was much cheaper. Very polite people and full service gas!

I had them put on 2 tires I bought online had them rotate front to rear list a hubcap the next day called Randy up said I hope you find it but he wasn't going to do anything about and charged me $20 for inspecting my tire sensors after I told him I wasn't concerned about the sensors from the get go never mentioned the charge to me so now I'm out a hubcap and 20 bucks I will never go back here total crook I've heard from several friends they got ripped off here in the past also it's terrible that people do business like this terrible customer service

Great little home town gas stop by here the owner makes sure that you get great service because he's also the cashier. They even offer full service gas pumps here! I haven't seen that in forever.

I would not recommend taking your car here. A relative of mine took his car here and they replaced the wrong part, charged him and then refused to correct the mistake.Terrible customer service. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

Always very friendly and helpful......but....Learned to say that they will not be open on Saturday anymore.. Most people work during the week and the weekends are the only free time. I see them loosing money and customers.
