Can't say enough good things about Elizabeth, Don, and Ray and their family and team. We have had the pleasure of knowing this family for years, and they are reputable and professional in their business. They have always advised us well about small engine repair and absolutely felt like they had our best interests in mind. Knowledgeable, professional, and responsive is the best way to describe EZ Marine. Great people to do business with!

I had a great experience with EZ Marine Services and thank you to Elizabeth and Ray ..you were great to work with. My ski boat broke down before the 4th of July and they stocked all the parts and repaired my 19 ft Monterey MercCruiser IO in record time when other shops were telling me it could take 2-3 weeks just to get parts. And the repair cost was far less than others quoted and the on time service was exceptional with clear communication of expectations. And then they surprised me and delivered my boat to my dock early so my visiting daughter and Grandkids could enjoy a lake weekend. And get this, my trailer had some bad boards and they fixed the trailer at no cost. Their Customer Service was excellent and I would give them a Gold Star. I also wrote them and thanked them. And the boat runs is running great!Services: Engine repair, Winterization

I cannot say enough positive things about EZ in Lee's Summit. The communication was excellent. They kept us informed and received the parts necessary to repair the engine on Friday and got the boat ready the same day for pick up! Great Job! Highly Recommend!!!! Had a boat towed to the shop due to trailer issues and the price to fix was so high we purchased a different trailer and they charged an arm and a leg to move it over. Well we left the trailer at the shop until we had a place to put it and work on it. We finally had it towed and when it showed up they stripped it down. No tires took of wench and rails (some broken)that had just been redone a month before and no spare tire hook up all gone. They made us pay storage and another $100 on top of it. We are not able to get the boat moved back so we can use it this summer and the shop didn t even call back after calling as soon as the trailer arrived. They said they would look for our parts that are missing.Service: Winterization

I had a very positive experience with E-Z Marine Services. They came to my dock to diagnose my issues, they towed my boat from the dock and took it to their shop, repaired it, detailed it, got a cover made and brought it back to me looking better than I would have imagined and running well. The people I spoke with professional, courteous and patient and everything happened during what I assume is one of their busiest times of the year.

EZ Marine has always done everything they can to make our boating experience wonderful. We bought a used boat with several issues and they have been able to address them all over the last 3 years. They have done all the repairs as fast as they could, sometimes they had to come get our boat and take it to the shop, and other times they were able to do the repairs right on the lake!!!! My daughter and I even felt comfortable enough to take the boat out by ourselves which I would have never done without their reliable repairs! We had a 1997 pontoon that needed a complete renovation. Don, Ray, Elizabeth and i am sure others took our boat, our ideas and gave suggestions and helped guide us through each step of the way. We just received the delivery of our 1997 ( now 2018 ) pontoon and it is amazing!!! I am so glad we listened to Don and trusted in his ability to deliver. I would highly recommend EZ Marine Services. I know I will continue to have them service my pontoon in the future.

This is a great company to work with. Whenever possible I like to meet with people in person, yet I travel for work. Had a broken boat at the beginning of the summer and during a busy part of their season I'm sure. I live in a lake community and by my preferred communication Elizabeth coordinated through text and email to get a technician onsite and supply me with an estimate. They were promptly onsite, got my boat out of the water with their own trailer, fixed the boat and returned it to the dock. Pricing is very fair and a trustworthy company. I'm in the Lees Summit area.

Worst customer service and repair I have ever had in 35 years. Took my boat in to replace or rebuild my trim/tilt motor. After dropping boat I did not here from them for 4 week. After I called they said they were getting it in that day and they would let me know. After 3 more days they called and said it needed a trim motor which I already knew. I agreed to the replace. 2 weeks later I had to call again to see if finished. Boat was done the next day. After I drove 20 miles and back home the trim/tilt did not work still. Shop said to bring it back so I did. After drop they said it was the ground wire and I could pick it up and they charged another 25 dollars. Also they never even tested the new trim motor. When I got there to pick up the bill was mid 40's. When I asked the reseptionist she said she didn't know and thats what I have to pay. They left old parts and wire casing just loose on the floor and now it's leaking hydrologic fluid that no one mention so really the trim still doesn't work. I have only been a boat owner for a few years but have been in auto repair business for 11 years.

Can only give E-Z Marine the highest recommendation for service and going the extra mile! We had a 9-1-1 emergency with the engine on our pontoon on the eve of a holiday weekend, did not discover the problem until late in the afternoon. I was fortunate enough to get a hold of E-Z Marine and they made the extra effort to come out after hours and solve my issue.Service: Engine repair

After speaking to owner of Ez boats via Facebook market place about a pontoon they had for sale. We confirmed after we traveled 2hrs to get the boat we would be able to leave with boat and trailer. We made our trip up and looked at all the boats they had for sale. Decided on the boat we viewed on Facebook market place. They were going to get paper work started on getting the boat, so we waited about 15 minutes, salesman came out stated they didn t have title but were calling owner. Wait another 20 minutes returned to office to find they can not get ahold of the owner at this time. And all they could do was say Sorry for the inconvenience. Which is appreciated but when I confirm we could get it off the lot today that typically means today. So we left angry, called owner on his cell phone multiples time he told us he was in meeting and couldn t take our call. After we explain what was happening. We than made it home received a message that owner he was available now and we could talk, we offered less money on boat due to inconvenience but due to our Google review I post prior to this one he didn t want to make it right on boat sale due me post a review, acting as if them not having title in hand was customers fault. Situation was handled poorly like I said after we checked before traveling to look at boat.I did not cuss at the receptionist, I simple asked her if you were the owner ( due to sometime older people have other people post items to internet for them) that was all and explain we had already talked with you before we came up. The biggest problem is time is money. Just like the salesmen didn t want to put boat on trailer for us to run it til he saw money. And when we called you I believe if you would have said your in a family emergency meeting rather than I am in a meeting and can t deal with this made it seem as if you had another job and it didn t matter. So as a customer that how we felt and everything else got escalated from there. I wrote the review because I was disappointed about how disorganized it was trying to pay cash for some else boat that sat on your lot since last fall you told us before we drove there it was good to go. No I can mail you the title, take the boat come back tomorrow for title nothing it was just we can t do anything without title. Then you were mad about the review and totally retaliated against us because 1 bad review would cost you 10k, I would have taken it down or rewrote to show that your worked with us on a error. But on the phone listening to you acted like it was our fault there was no title. You have to understand our round trip was roughly 4hrs and then to come back would have been another 4hrs so 8hrs in driving take a hourly wage of that and tell me it wouldn t have mattered to you?

EZ lives up to their name because they are VERY easy to work with; total professionals. The staff is friendly and their work is high quality for a good value. You email them your problem and they solve it quickly. I would highly recommend.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I had my bass boat repaired and generally inspected by E-Z Marine Service in April of '14. The folks who helped me with were friendly, very responsive to my requests, and did good work for a reasonable price. I would recommend Don and his staff to other boat owners.

Don and Jaime have always done a fantastic job on my boat repairs, which there have been a lot of! Don is always available to answer questions and give advise when it is needed. Their prices are far better than the local "Marine" shops, and they usually get to it fairly fast. I would definitely recommend E-Z Marine....

I have used E-Z Marine several times and I have had nothing but excellent service. They have installed, moved and installed again my boat lift at Blue Springs Lake. We had a lift issue last night at around 8 pm. I called Don to see if he could walk me thru a troubleshoot and he said "...no problem, I can be there in 20 minutes." Over and above the call of duty! Had me fixed and moving in a matter of minutes. Nothing but great and reasonable service from the crew at E-Z Marine!!!

I just called to see if this place does winterization. The lady on the phone was using acronyms I was not familiar with. She then said you have a boat but don't know if it's an inboard or and outboard? I said yes I certainly know that but was not familiar with the acronyms. I just told her she lost my business for basically calling me an idiot, and she laughed it off. Very rude in my opinion. I will stick with Blue Springs Marine.Sorry Ray, I could not respond below your response. Yes I get it, I may have come out ahead if I would have spoken with someone else, but you know, I sort of thought people who answer the phone would be one of the best indications of how a business may operate. From looking at your reviews, I am sure you are good at what you do and could do what I needed. That's why I called you first, but first impressions certainly do make a difference and I wasn't impressed. I will certainly keep you in mind for the future if I need to change service departments.Thanks for your responseRusty

My opinion is I would not use this company if they were the only company in the world. Poor workmanship unreliable extremely expensive and doesn t stand behind his work. I have yet to find anyone at the lake that speaks positively about Don. HAD A BOAT UP FOR SALE ON MARKET PLACE. RESPONDED TO THE POST. TOOK AWHILE TO GET A RESPONSE. PICS NOT GOOD. ASKED FOR SOME MORE PICS AND INFO. RESPONSE WAS ALL PICS POSTED. ASLO CALLED THE DEALER SHIP TO TALK TO A SALES GUY TO GET SOME INFO ON THE BOAT. CALLED TWICE AND EACH TIME I GOT THE SAME MESSAGE. NO SALES PEOPLE ARE IN AT THIS TIME. FOR A FAMILY BUSINESS THOUGHT THE SERVICE WOULD BE BETTER.

I experienced similar issue with lady on the phone as another poster. She seemed very abrasive and too busy. I had called merely to get quote on boat lift. Not impressed.
