Our experience with Adams Toyota was top notch! Everything was expertly explained and there was absolutely no pressure to purchase things we didn't want.Our salesperson Stanford was an absolute joy and extremely relatable to our situation. He expertly explained what we needed to know and actually treated us like friends. We shared our love for cooking, especially BBQ! We look forward to connecting with him this summer to see if his grilling skills match his salesmanship.

My experience purchasing a car from Adams Toyota was excellent. I worked with Gonzalo through the entire purchase. He was fast to answer all my questions and helped out as much as he could. My experience at Adams Toyota was the best dealership experience I've had to date. Bradley was an absolutely fantastic partner through the process, even encouraging me to take the vehicle home to make sure it would fit in our garage. They offered me a very generous price on my trade in, and didn't try to push me into unwanted packages. Bradley has followed up with me a couple times since, and has been wholly committed to making sure we had the best experience possible. I have no doubt that my next Toyota will be through Adams and Bradley.

From the first call to the final purchase, I was blown away by how Gonzalo treated us. During this time of trying to find the right vehicle for my son, I had a bad experience with other dealers. Gonzalo shot me his best price without any back-and-forth. He did exactly what he said he would do and he made the purchasing of the new Tundra, seamless and painless. I would highly recommend Gonzalo and Adam s Toyota to anybody buying a vehicle. 5 Star team!!!

Bought a new tundra yesterday. I have to say probably one of the easiest buying experiences I have had at a dealership. I worked with Alberto Perez and he did not disappoint. I usually hate buying a vehicle, all the back and forth from the sales guy and to the floor manager, is just exhausting. I walked in and Alberto had two versions of the truck that I had requested to see setting side by side. He answered my questions and left and let my wife and I go through the trucks and make my figures. I walked in he said let s make it easy what is your number? I told him the number I needed to be, he looked at his figures and done . Asked if I wanted to trade in and I was expecting to be low balled. I told him the number I need to be for the trade in and he was like done. He asked if I wanted any extended warranty. I said I was not interested in any extras and absolutely no pushing just a hand shake and then to finance. I then walked out with a new truck. Definitely would recommend the buying experience with Alberto Perez.

This problem originally occurred May 5th, 2023. I was on my way to Fort Leonard Wood to perform my military orders for the national guard when (due to the Adams Toyota inability to properly torque an oil drain plug) my oil drain plug loosed and then fell out my Toyota Camry while I was driving. This caused my engine to completely run out of oil and leave me stranded on a 2 line highway in the middle of rural Missouri. Thankfully due to some locals in the area, I was able to push my car into their shop and locate the issue and then put in enough oil to get me back to Kansas city the following Monday. Below are the pictures of the oil drain plug I found resting on the under pan of the car and the oil streak from me pushing my car inside. This caused me to miss critical duties at my unit and miss out on valuable training.This is only the start of my headache with Toyota. I then proceed to bring my car back to be serviced the following week (which I had to take time out of my busy schedule in the middle of a work day) to get my car checked and filled with oil. I was told that the service would take an hour and a half but ended up taking 4+ hours. Throughout which I was no updated on the time and when I asked I was told "Just 10 more minutes." I expressed my urgency to leave because I had more military training. I felt trapped and it wasn't until 4 hours in did they decide to give me a courtesy car. At which point my car was conveniently done. Because of this I had to cancel on more work, military and life duties. Now I have been costed multiple hours of my life and work pay due to an issue that should've never occurred.This is where my issue begins today, I was never told if I would receive any compensation for my time, stress and possible damages to my car. They never offered me a true resolution for the issue either. (which I find under whelming for the almost ruining the engine and causing an unknown amount of damage) They gave me one free oil change after the fact but I came in today and when I asked about an oil change one of the service managers was extremely rude to me and did not even try to hear or help and proceeded to walk off when I began to talk.I am disappointed with this because I pay extra to go to the dealership and have peace of mind that the job will be done correctly. But if they can't even properly change my oil consistently without a drain plug falling out then whats the point of going here. I am disappointed that the customer service is challenging my issue instead of listening to me and trying to finding a way to help. (Not Caleb or Devyn they were the only reason I came back. Seems like they are the only caring ones there) I am sadden that I will have to take my car somewhere else but I will not put up with lackluster customer service and poor maintenance quality.Respectfully,Lucas

We were expecting a new baby and needed to purchase a new vehicle to accommodate our growing family. We had been looking for a new vehicle for a while but were having trouble getting a vehicle in our price range and that met our needs. We had been to several dealerships and dealt with dealerships that forced you to purchase add ons we didn t want or need. We also ran into a wait period that would be between 6-9 months at most dealerships. We were worried that we wouldn t get our new vehicle before the baby was due. We contacted Adams Toyota through their website as we were researching late at night and inquired on a vehicle. We had done this several times and got the run around from other local dealerships. It was almost 9pm and we received a call from Alex within 10 minutes of our inquiry. He apologized for calling so late but he knew how fast Toyota Siennas were selling out and wanted to reach out so we wouldn t miss out. This was even after Adams Toyota was closed for the day. We made an appointment for the next day. Alex met with us immediately when we walked in and was extremely down to earth. It wasn t our first time buying a vehicle through a dealer but it was the first time we had a seller make us feel like a person instead of a number. We traded in our used vehicle and Alex advocated a good trade in price even better than the first offer. We made a down payment while our new vehicle was in transit and Alex gave us weekly updates to keep us informed on its arrival. Alex came in on his day off when our vehicle arrived and the paperwork process was the fastest we have ever experienced. Alex stayed after the paperwork was signed to show us how to set up and use the new features in our vehicle. We are extremely happy with our experience working with Adams Toyota and we will never buy another vehicle from anyone but Alex.

I had a fantastic experience with Adams Toyota!!I was in a time crunch looking for the right car for me. Our car salesman extraordinaire ALEX was the best. He made the first time car buyer experience comfortable and exciting. Alex took the time to ask questions and make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. Not only is he a great salesman he s a great person. I would definitely recommend Alex to help you with your car buying needs.Also got a chance to talk with the general manager Scott and had a great experience with him. This is a phenomenal dealership, and Gonzalo Fernandez is one of the reasons why. He provided me with outstanding service and professionalism, and didn't hesitate to go out of his way to make my out-of-state transaction smooth and flawless. Kevin at Adams Toyota is THE BEST. I was dreading buying new car as you usually run into the pushy salesman-not Kevin. He was very helpful in going through the type of trim on the vehicle I wanted to figure out which one would suit me best in my price range. Before we test drove the car he went through each feature and was not pushy when I said I would be coming back the following weekend to buy the car. When I came back to buy the car it was an enjoyable process and he reviewed the features and help me set everything up in the car with my phone. I will be recommending this dealership and this salesman to any and all friends and family.

I recently started searching for a vehicle to have for the winter. I set my eyes on the GR86 which are few and far between. I searched around different dealers and set my eyes on a white GR86 located at Adam s Toyota of Lees Summit. I called and Lucas Barker answered where we started going back and forth on details surrounding the car. Understanding the car was not in the states yet as it is made in Japan. He provided prompt and informative updates throughout the way to keep me in loop. I live about an hour and 20 mins from Lees Summit. He was very patient and understanding of this. He was amazing in handling everything prior to my arrival, from getting car checked in to having a coating installed, and just making sure everything was ready to go. When we arrived, the car was ready in the bay to look over. I could not be more happy with attention to detail he showed and the patience with me being out of town. Finally having this car and being able to drive it feels amazing. Thank you Lucas!

Alberto was our salesman and I can t say enough great things about him! He was very low key and took great care of us so we could get the car we wanted. He kept us informed throughout the process and got us a great price on the car!!The whole staff made the process, from start to finish, painless and easy. The car was prepped and gorgeous when we picked it up. They took great care of my family and I d buy from them again!Not to mention the free lifetime engine, transmission and drivetrain warranty. To be fair, you d be an idiot to buy anywhere else. Go see Alberto and get yourself a great car!

I recently had an extensively disheartening experience at Adam's Toyota when it came to the warranty on my car's battery. The battery label prominently and unequivocally indicated an 84-month warranty, which should provide a sense of security and peace of mind to any vehicle owner. However, I was genuinely taken aback when I was informed by their staff that the warranty coverage was, in fact, only for 36 months. Regrettably, despite my repeated efforts to gain further clarification and resolution, my concerns were continuously brushed aside, and no meaningful assistance was provided.My disappointment with Adam's Toyota runs deep, as this incident has exposed not only a significant lapse in their customer service but also a jarring inconsistency in their warranty policy. The discrepancy between the warranty label and the information provided by their staff was more than just a minor inconvenience; it was a cause for serious concern.To elaborate further on my disheartening experience, the customer service I encountered at Adam's Toyota was not only unsatisfactory but left a profoundly negative impression. When I initially raised the issue concerning the warranty duration, the staff appeared indifferent, and I perceived an unwillingness to delve deeper into the matter. I reached out to Toyota Corporate to discuss the matter. Astonishingly, Toyota Corporate sided with me, recognizing the validity of the 84-month warranty that was clearly indicated on the battery label. They, too, expressed surprise at the conflicting information provided by Adam's Toyota. This clear support from the parent company should have prompted a swift and satisfactory resolution from the dealership.But, much to my continued disappointment, Adam's Toyota still refused to address the issue or honor the warranty indicated on the battery. The blatant contradiction between the stance of Toyota Corporate and the dealership's unwillingness to cooperate raises troubling questions about the dealership's commitment to customer satisfaction and their willingness to rectify their own mistakes.In conclusion, my experience with Adam's Toyota was not merely a letdown; it was a profound disappointment due to the misalignment between the battery warranty label and the information I was provided, as well as the absence of a proactive and customer-centric approach to resolving the issue. I hope that, in light of this incident, Adam's Toyota takes this as a valuable opportunity to reevaluate and improve their customer service practices, warranty communication, and overall approach to ensuring customer satisfaction.

I have nothing but great things to say about Adams Toyota! I leased a vehicle in 2020 and Alberto was fantastic throughout the entire process. I just recently purchased that vehicle when my lease was up and both Alberto and the general manager, Scott, were extremely helpful and made the entire process go very smoothly. Emon at Adam s Toyota helped me purchase my RAV4 hybrid and was wonderful to work with. I was still deciding whether I even wanted a Toyota vehicle when I first went into the dealership and I never once felt pressured into purchasing one from them. He understood that a new car is a huge purchase and was happy to help me make the right decision for myself. By the time I figured out what I wanted, it was no longer in stock in the color I wanted on the Adam s lot so Emon helped hunt it down elsewhere and get it transferred over to us. The communication was great the whole time. I m super happy to have worked with the team at Adam s Toyota.

Been coming to adams since 2020 my family has been going here for years Lucas barker was my salesman since I bought my first car a 2017 rav 4 in 2020 yesterday I went back after an unfortunate incident 3 weeks ago and got Lucas again for showing me some cars! I was torn between a 2020 Rag 4 xle and a Honda h-rv ex crossover he let me test drive them both and gave me plenty of time to observe like last time and was very helpful with everything. After not being sure what to do and about to go home and think on it he had a final suggestion and showed me this brand new 2023 Toyota Corolla cross and I fell in love seconds after looking at it! He was very helpful and informative about the rest of the process and did the cleaning himself before I took it home!! Many Years from now I will be back and if Lucas is there he s my #1 go to and he will always be my recommendation to any friends and family who go there for a car.

**EDIT**while I understand you have to go through a checklist on 10,000 mile, it still doesn't and shouldn't take 4 and a half hours. Yes, I changed how long it took because I was actually still waiting when I was making my review. Also, would like to add that you guys told us that the key being programed, would be done while the truck was being serviced, and that it only takes about 45 min. So that was not the issue at all. That's just an excuse for poor time management. When we were getting ready to leave, the check engine light was on and was told "maybe it'll go off"... and you guys didn't even fill up the washer fluid because you guys were out of it?? Lol We had to wait an extra 30 min so you guys could figure out how to get check engine light off. My husband and I have been loyal customers for 6 years and have purchased 5 brand new vehicles from Toyota. We've never had an issue getting our vehicles serviced in a timely manner! We will take our service back to our original Toyota center. The only reason we switched service centers in the first place is because we relocated. Your mechanics and staff could hardly make eye contact. Be more transparent with your customers and maybe let them know if it's going to take over 4 hours to get an oil change and check a few fluids and rotate some tires!!!1 star only because they have nice amenities while you're waiting for your service to get done. Made an appointment to get my oil changed and it took 3 hours. This is ridiculous! I will not be coming back here for services. I thought the reason you make appointments, is so you can get in and out.

I had a great Experience at Adams Toyota! Joshua Couch was more than helpful when it came to the buying process. Even though they didn t have any Camry s available on their lot, Josh and Adams Toyota were able to secure a dealer trade for the exact vehicle I wanted within 24 hours of asking. Josh and Adams Toyota remained in constant contact until the day the car arrived and answered all questions in a timely manner. I Couldn t recommend Adams Toyota or Josh enough if you re looking for a new vehicle!

I had been looking for awhile for a hybrid vehicle. I had been driving a Honda for over a decade and was ready for a change. I drive a lot, so a hybrid was something I was needing for the extra mpgs.I had began working with another Toyota dealer around KC but it didn't feel right. However I test drove a Rav4 hybrid and it was great. It was very close to my Honda but got about 14 more mpg. The old dealer acted like they were doing me a favor "JUST FOR TODAY" to get me a good price on my trade in. I wasn't a fan of that..I emailed Adams Toyota with what I was looking for and Gonzalo Fernandez replied to me right away. From the time I sent an email, I was down at the dealership and had a deal done before lunch. Such a quick and easy process. Seriously. I hate long drawn out sales talk, I just don't do it. Gonzalo was highly efficient and didn't mess around. He would explain things if I asked, but he didn't waste my time during the deal. We had it done in around 30 mins.They looked at my old car and had ZERO issues giving me what I was looking for, for it. No stress at all.The Rav4 was supposed to arrive in about a week but it arrived in a few days! Gonzalo kept me posted and informed along the way. I REALLY appreciated his help and his quick service.If you need a new car and are stressing about it (like I do) go to Adams and ask for Gonzalo! He will not waste your time and will help you out.So far the process and handling of the entire deal has gone flawless.Thank you Gonzalo and Adams Toyota!

Gonzalo was extremely professional. He made the pick up process once we got to the dealership extremely simple. We already had the vehicle picked out but Gonzalo made sure all the necessary forms and paperwork were ready so there wasn t any hiccups when we got to the store, he gave a thorough walk through and when we presented him with question he didn t know the answer to I watched him walk over to his laptop and start researching how to videos to not only show us but to learn to enhance his product knowledge. Adam s is lucky to have a guy like Gonzalo the communication and effort he put in was second to none. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from him again.

Gonzalo was our salesperson, and he is the best! My overall experience was great, the wait for my new car was worth it! He definitely knows his stuff and was extremely helpful! Him being bilingual is a plus i would definitely recommend working with Gonzalo!!
