Had a great experience with A-1 today the guy is very reasonable and fixed my muffler in no time. I recommend this business to anyone with muffler trouble.

I called at about 930am on this rainy friday morning and these guys were able to get me in within the next hour and replace my flowmaster 40 with something different i brought in. 100 percent recommended this shop for your exhaust needs. They are quick and clean with their work and i was thoroughly impressed with the price! 10/10.

I came in because I failed my Missouri inspection due to a flex pipe leaking. The dealership doesn't do these kinds of replacements, and recommended A1. (It says a lot when a dealership recommends your services!) The dealership told me to be prepared though because it can be an expensive fix, and gave me an estimate that brought me to tears. I would have had to sell my car rather than fix it. However. Because the A1 owner is able to do custom work, he was able to replace just the one piece rather than having to replace the entire exhaust system. It saved me a fortune! I had called the day before to get a quote for the work. When I came in, he remembered our conversation and the work that needed done, gave me the same price, and was done within 2 hours. I'm not sure what experience one reviewer had, but as a mid 20's female, I felt very safe and respected, and did not smell anything out of the ordinary from a mechanic shop. I went back to the dealership to reevaluate the inspection and passed. I'm so thankful for A1, and have already recommended it to a friend!Service: Exhaust

I had a 1957 Fordf100 completely gone through by Bill and crew. the engine had not ran for 30 years. Bill got it running first and determined a major overall was not necessary. Saved me thousands of dollars.Will always go to them for any work on my trucks or car. This is a small shop that does great work. Good customer service and very knowledgeable staff along with fair prices. If you need any exhaust work done on a vehicle, I'd recommend them.

I called up there three times to get my car in there explaining it was the only means of transportation and I have to take the day off to bring it in they said do it first thing Monday so I took off that day and when Monday came around they said it will be at least a couple of days you can't do that I went to budget muffler in independence and got fast reliable honest good working people they might be good for others but not to me

They do great work from exhaust to motor rebuilds. Bill is honest would hesitate to send my mom or wife fair and affordable

The owner of this shop was very fair with me. I needed a new exhaust manifold/bracket but could not afford it at the moment. He offered a much more cost effective, short term solution to keep me going and allowed the car to passing inspection at a VERY fair price. I will return whenever I need work on my exhaust or suspension. He treated me right and did a great job.

I got a whole new exhaust system from the catalytic converter back for a very cheap price. Welding new mufflers is about $95 when it's about $140 other places. These guys are nice and do a fantastic job. Their work includes a one year warranty and they stick to it.

The owner of this business is a wonderful man and he does excellent work. His prices are very fair and I've never had an issue. I would never go to any other shop for my exhaust work. They rock!

I had work done on my 04 Dodge Ram today by these guy's. OUTSTANDING work. They did a great job and the best price I could find anywhere. I would HIGHLY recommend them to every one. Thanks for the great job and I will be back any time I need work done. Thanks again, Jamie.

We had the flange rust through on our 2000 Civic. I had read that in order to fix it, one may have to replace the catalytic converter. We took it in to A1 Muffler today, and within an hour, we had it fixed at a very reasonable price. I am very happy with the service.

I highly recommend this place especially for mufflers they got me in I think I called them on a Friday made the appointment for Monday exactly like it was going to be an all day job but it they were done in a couple hours it was pretty reasonable I was expected to spend a lot more money I only spent about 350 bucks yeah I didn't have a muffler at all I had to cut it off because it was dragging the ground and they put one on there now my car sounds normal but I highly recommend very nice people

3/23/16 - I stopped in today to get a simple union fixed between the cat and the muffler on my 1997 chevy... The main mechanic / owner ran me off "because I asked too many questions". He quoted me $400, when I asked what that got me he told me I needed need new cats, etc, etc... I asked so how much for parts, labor time at that price I am considering a new exhaust.... he said "i am done with you, too many questions"... I ended up going to NCC in Belton and they fixed for $125, it required a cut, a small piece of exhaust and weld.When you are getting work done, it is common practice for someone to know what services they are agreeing to purchase.

They were extremely helpful when i brought in my maxima. I have alot invested in my car as i am building it into a show car ( if my girlfriend doesnt keep trying to make me sell it to get a chevy ) . The owner set me up with a badass custom exhaust from the headers back and even found a major suspension issue i was not aware of and offered advice on the easiest way to fix it correctly because i do most car work myself. I will continue to go back there regularly for anything i cant or dont want to do myself. Always get compliments on my exhaust too.

High quality work, a little high on price but i carried in my own muffler, without an appointment on a Saturday morning and was done within an hour so i am satisfied overall.

I walked in, asked if these guys wanted to weld in an exhaust system on my Hemi. They took her around back at my request and had the FlowMaster dual exhaust on within an hour and even let me come back to verify the work they did.

Brought in an aftermarket muffler for them to weld on my truck and they did some custom pipe work as well. I was in and out in 30 mins. Highly recommend!

I failed my Missouri inspection because of a hole in the muffler. I called this place up and they were not only cheapest, but they got me in soon as I got there. Very good service!

Horrible. We asked if he could put back the Cadillac converter to the exhaust manifold. He said no he couldn t. When I said I didn t understand he said, and I quote, there s probably a bunch of things you don t understand. Went to diamond muffler and they were able to do what I asked. This man was the rudest ever.

I thought I needed a new exhaust system. A-1 replaced and fixed my leak without having an appt in 15 min. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Had them fix a flex pipe. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Fair price and very friendly. Would recommend to everyone.
