Great people, great mechanics, great service and prices! Very patient and provides detailed explanations. I was very shocked on how timely they were on a vehicle I brought to them initially that I thought was going to take the full day. Very satisfied with the service we have had thus far, and look forward to doing business with them in the future!

Hands down one of the best mechanic shops in town! We recently started doing business with them and they all have been wonderful! They are honest and do not give you the run around. We have taken three different vehicles to them and they were affordable and quick. I would highly recommend them for any mechanical work!

Taryn Shafer was always the key to this place's premium success. After many years, they sold the biz and shd later retired from KBM. Taryn's diagnostic & long time customer service is missed, but the current owner & staff are also very courteous & efficient. We always take our vehicles here for a variety of auto ailments and have been very satisfied with the work done. Courteous staff. Good value and honest service.

My daughter is a student at Truman State and we are 3 hours away. She started having car issues and Kirksville B&M was suggested to my through FB. One of the owners reached out to me to assure me that they would take care of my daughter. They got her in right away and were very nice and respectful to her. I can not say anything on the actual repair because they couldn t pin down any issue but I appreciate how they handle the whole situation!

Just a wonderful, honest, hard working group of people! I have been taking my Honda here for the last 5 years and have never had anything but good experiences. They really care about their customers and treat them honestly. Today they bled my brakes, jump-started my car and were super flexible about getting me in. Was in Kirksville for a ahort time on 12/20/22 and had a tire go flat. Kirksville Brake & Muffler checked it out, showed me where it was leaking and ordered a tire. When the tire arrived they mounted & balanced it and got me on my way back to Columbia. Such Friendly, Courteous Professionals. So many car places try to be dishonest to get extra money. Kirskville Brake and Muffler keeps it real with you! They always treat me really well here. They go above and beyond and really care deeply for people.Keep in mind that people often expect too much! If you go out of your way to try to get exceptions, like installing your own part, there are risks with that! And don't be that person that expects too much! If you bring in a random cheap part from eBay, and you pay them labor to put it on, if it stops working 2 weeks in, remember that you may have to pay them to re-do the repair, it's not their fault! Don't be the person to blame them for things they can't control! Don't expect free things for no reason!Car repairs are complicated and hard to diagnose. But I can tell you they feel like a family shop that really takes care of people, and they are professional! A plus.

Napa know how. They did a great job changing tires on my vehicle. The price was reasonable. Even with having to change out a few lug nuts and a lug stud the final cost was still under budget. I was very satisfied and will be going back. Give them a try.

They've been good to us. Reasonable speed, always cheaper than I expect, and they get the job done right. We've gone to them long enough (3 yrs) that we know the mechanics & they know us. They've kept our 14 yr old car ticking longer than I expected it to last.

I went in with a check engine light. They said that the computer showed my engine's 2nd spark plug had set off the light by skipping. So they reset the light (since the engine was smooth with no sound of skipping) and said, call us if the check engine light comes on! They didnt charge me anything either!

After losing a few tires to vandalism, Ron and the whole crew helped us out! They made sure we had a few options, then fit us into their busy schedule to get us fixed up and driving the same day! This group of guys always comes through for us! Can t say enough good things about this garage!

I don't live in kirksville, but had a brake cathing while I was in town and it was almost closing time... friendly staff, great service and we're happy to help even so close to closing time! Definitely recommend! Thank you
