Never buy from Car Mart they are big time scammers. I couldn't get a bank to finance my car because the value to the car was way less than what they charge . They charge 17K and the value to the car was only 7K and that why no bank was able to do it so Car Mart profit 10K from my hard working money. I would never recommend this place to anyone . My brother also got a car from here and same issue with the value of his car . When he first went on the freeway after purchasing his car it was shaking and almost got into a accident on the freeway . One of the heavy set girl at their office who assisted us was very mean and rude very unprofessional. Also, don't waste your time going to them to pay for any issues to your car because they don't refund or reimburse anything. RUN AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS

The service while in the office to my face was good. I got to this office about an hour before closing. It was dark and we were trying to complete paperwork as quickly as possible. I never requested the additional vehicle service to be added, only their accident forgiveness. But it was added. As soon as we get in the vehicle my daughters saw the inside was trashed from play dough and food on the middle seats to what appears to be chalk on the headliner. I asked the sales guy after signing if someone would be able to detail it. He said the shop guy already did and that he already left for the night. All this shop guy did was spray air freshener in the car. It took me two hours the following day to scrub the seats, doors and headliner. Then, two days after I drive off the lot, the vehicle shows a check engine oil light whenever I turned. Check the oil and there is none. Absolutely none on the dipstick. The engine cover was even not screwed down and was just laying on top of the engine. Do not recommend this lot to anyone.

I bought a car from here in 7 days of local driving it broke down on the highway. I was almost in a wreck. I called they made me pay for the towing. They said that the part was months behind. They then changed my agreement to a different car after 3 weeks it died. Had to pay $1200 to have the starter fixed and a new battery as well as another $200 to tow to the garage. They had not secured the starter and it caused a short. The mechanic removed the tracker. To trace the short. The next day got a call about the tracker did not care about the expenses I had incurred. Or the fact that could not take my kids trick or treating. I have recipes for all parts and labor costs. I will never trust the Kirksville car mart again. I know that they will send their generated response and only care about the almighty dollar. Richardson in Milan is less of a con artist than these people.

I'm very unhappy with the choice we had to make. The vehicle that we really wanted they didn't have the title to. Also, the jeep that we got the windshield was broken, yes they're going to replace it but we have to make another trip to Kirksville to get it fixed. And when you go up a hill it Jenks literally Jenks. So, on Monday I will be returning this vehicle to the Kirksville office for a resolution.Victor Freed our salesperson was very nice.UPDATE:I went to carmart today and they made my whole experience pleasant. I used the 100% Gaurentee and picked another vehicle. Thanks Kyle you were great went above and beyond.

HORRIBLE PLACE TO GET A CAR!! Mine hasn t ran in months. They don t help fixing the vehicles when still paying for the cars. All the cars on the lot are junk they have transmission and engine problems. Constantly lying to costumers about payments and other thing. Wouldn t recommend this place to anyone. Definitely a negative 100 for this place. Trying to steal my tires off the car that I m still paying for.

I loved my experience. The staff were friendly and treat you like exceptionally well. I had difficulty getting my downpayment paid due to card issues and the staff were very understanding and helpful with the situation. They aren't like other dealers who only care about the sale. I would definitely reccomend to anyone looking to get another vehicle!

I would give them less than one if it was available. Their home office has done nothing but lie to me for the entire time I've used their business. I would rather walk than used Car-Mart ever again. I was charged twice believing me and a negative balance at my bank and they felt it was okay to continue to lie to me and drag it out instead of refunding my money even seeing my entire bank statement where they can see that I was in the negative because of this payment they still decided to drag me along with lies telling me they needed this and telling me they needed that when I gave them I am tire bank statement they told me that it would be another five business days and they would refund my money and I called back after five business days then they tell me it would be 3 to 10 more business days before they could give me my money well why didn't they say that in the first place because they're liars that's why and they don't care that I had nothing to eat nothing to have gas in the car no way to get around no money at all because of their mess up they could care less so I can care less about them I would not recommend them to anyone and like I said I would rather walk than ever used car mart again!

My salesman Dameun was great, he knew his stuff. Answered all my questions and was very polite and professional. I love my Elantra. The price was comparable to same year and milage of others I had looked at out of town. I also got the extended warranty just to be on the safe side of any used car. Overall a very good experience!

My vehicle broke down the day I went into carmart and having started a new job the week before I needed a vehicle ASAP considering I work at 3 am so I took a chance and went over and Victor was amazing! Looked at a few told them I wanted the cheapest they had on the lot because I didn't have a paycheck yet and he got me into the car I have now for zero down and off the lot within two hours of me being there! If anyone is in dire need I highly recommend carmart!!!

Brenda and the rest of the staff at Kirksville CarMart are absolutely fantastic! They are very easy to work with, and go above and beyond for their customers! I was in the market for a truck, and they had a nice selection on the lot, They were easy to work with on financing, with a very reasonable down payment and affordable payments. In over a year, I have never had any issues with my truck and it is my daily driver.If you are looking for a nice affordable vehicle, and a great group of people to work with, I definitely recommend stopping in and visiting with them! They also report to credit bureaus, so if you are trying to rebuild your credit they can definitely help. my credit has definitely improved since financing my truck through them.I will definitely be contacting them with my next vehicle purchase, thanks to their customer service and selection I will absolutely be a repeat customer!!!

Changed my review to tell other people to watch out because they tell you what your payments will be but then you find out later there's a balloon payment in which they don't tell you about. Kyle is very nice but should of told me about this problem because I would not of bought vehicle from them. Just don't want other people getting in a mess like I am in.

Easy financing, Nice lot, and friendly staff...Just wished cars were gone through better before selling them. My van had a few minor issues at the start..One issue isnt repairable easy enough, However car-mart did put it in a shop for me and got everything resolved except for the VSA light as of yet. So my only beef is go through the cars before selling them thanks

If I could give this place a negative review I would.We bought a vehicle from here and within 3 months had to spend more then 500$ to fix the "small" problems, then as soon as we discovered the transmission went out they have NO INTEREST in getting the vehicle repaired. (they still want their payments tho) Directly due to the repairs they will NOT pay for. my gf lost her job. This place is trash I wouldn't recommend ANYONE BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!

I am the users wife, it wouldn t let me login as me. But I Am truly grateful for everything that the employees there have done for me and my family. they are completely understanding if you need a extension on your payment. You just gotta give them a heads up and they will work with you. Brenda and Elizabeth are truly professional and courteous. Carmart has been great to us. In a time of need they have been our strong rock. I love them and appreciate everything they have done for me and my family. My car works. And when I cannot make a payment I go to them beforehand and they understand and work with me. I will be forever great full for this team

THIS PLACE IS OVER THE TOPFrom the receptionist first Hello to signing on the dotted line. Ive bought several cars before but never have I received the attention and sincere concern for our needs as we were given today. They made you feel at ease and genuinely welcome. Brenda is a one of a kind she kept the long boring process of the credit app Fun and lighthearted as possible. Always giving us that boost of confidence ya need at times during the boring business end of the deal.Elizabeth GM giving up her babe as we bought the car she was driving right out from underneath her. She greeted us with a beautiful smile that sets you at ease and never wavered from the making us feel as if we were a part of the team there.Last but not least Hadley she was outstanding from the first greeting she gave us to making all the paperwork one has to do a pleasant and fun experience.This exceptional experience was all topped of with the General Manager handing us the keys to our new automobile and walking us out,snapping a quick shot of us with the cars and giving us a heart feltcongratulations on purchasing an outstanding vehicle. Thank you to all the staff at Kirksville car mart. You guys are a true friend in the car business. I recommend everyone to them. They really work hard to help there customer get in to a car or truck my experience with them was very great. They don't just stop at no we don't have anything if you go in there and tell them what you have to work with they will work to get you in something. If you need a car and you have been shot down by every single car dealership in town because either your credit score is to low or what they call a ghost in there system. Go see the people at Car Mart of Kirksville. You won't be let down.

Filed my taxes through them mid March. Contacted them April 20th and June 21st asking if they had received my refund and was told they had not received anything yet on both occasions. Come to find out they have had my refund since the beginning of April. At no point did I receive a phone call stating that my returns had been received and processed. It took me going into the business and calling the 3rd party tax preparation company and placing them on speaker phone in order for me to receive my income tax payment. I had done business with Carmart for years, but after today I will not go into or suggest this place of business.

I have never been so disappointed in a business in my entire life. After purchasing my Durango, I had nothing but trouble. We had bought the additional warranty, tried to use it, but they never paid. Also, after very specifically being told there was only 1 set of keys, we found out they kept the other set of keys (b/c it would be easier to repossess). Very unnerving to think they have had access to my vehicle this entire time. My last payment was coming due, so I decided to go in 4 days early to pay it off and was told I had $154 of outstanding charges that I had to pay first. They would NOT let me make my payment and then look into the $154 owed. Then I was informed that if didn't pay the entire amount by the due date, they would come get my car the next day. After some research on my own, I was able to prove the $154 in charges did not exist. They had said they had bought a water pump for my car and just added it to the end of my loan. This apparently happened in Jan'17. The trick? I've never had my water pump fixed! I was NEVER informed about the charges and when I told them that, I was told since I made my payments online and never came in, they didn't have the opportunity to tell me. Phone call? Letter? Email? I was able to prove the water pump that was purchased in my name, wasn't even the right one for my Durango. The charges did get removed and now my vehicle is free and clear. NEVER EVER buy anything from them. I'm positive I'm not the first person this has happened to anyway.
