I ve had a couple services here. Got an inspection and oil change done and they recommended 2 tires needing replaced. I got the tires replaced shortly after. The staff member Chris (I believe) was very polite, nice. As we well know, not all auto shops are great to deal with as a woman. This place is very chill and they don t try to pull any weird stuff. Prices are reasonable/standard as well. Great experience.

They are awesome!! I needed an inspection and they got me in RIGHT away! I didn't have to wake up early and drop my car off.. it was so simple, professional, and speedy! I was a customer at Hank's, the shop that was here previously, and am thrilled to keep coming back to the same location. I know my car is in good hands. Thank you guys so much!!

These guys do a stellar job and their pricing is seriously less expensive (almost 1/2!) than the dealership. Have used them a couple of times for work on my BMW and will definitely go back. They're usually booked ahead quite a ways, so it is hard to get in at times. Just testifies to their qualify of work and competitive pricing.

Honest, reliable, & kind. Highly recommend. They ended up buying my vehicle from me & are in the process of getting it fully repaired & donating it to a family in need. That's awesome!

These guys are pros! In my experience they have been nothing short of accommodating, flexible, and transparent. I usually HATE going to get my car serviced because the experience is almost always negative---but with these guys, there is no pressure and no upselling, only professionalism and quality work. Thank y'all for being the one shop I trust. -M

They were fast, efficient and honest. Some of the quotes I got from other places were quite eye watering, they saw me the next day, at a good price and i will certainly use them again for any of my car related needs.

Highly recommend KC Autoworx on 39th. They are a great example of what it means to offer great service and care about their community. I live a few houses down from their shop and recently ran into an issue with my vehicle. All of my dashboard warning lights were displayed and I couldn't get my vehicle to shift out of park. I called KC Autoworx on 39th and talked to Chris. He was polite and friendly and graciously offered to have one of his teammates swing by our house to look at the car. Their lead tech, Johnny, came by, ran diagnostics and resolved our issue (he worked some magic to reprogram). My car is back up and running and all of this was resolved within an hour of when I called in. Johnny was polite and friendly and didn't charge us a dime, instead he left us with a smile and said he was happy to help. KC Autoworx will always have our business and I highly recommend to others.

Can't speak highly enough of this business and their employees! I was in the market for a used car and trusted them with an inspection on a vehicle I was considering - they noticed and kindly explained damage/issues that would have been very costly repairs. Their team saved me from a bad purchase and a lot of hassle. I will absolutely trust them with future service needs and will continue to recommend to friends! I went there for the first time today. Great guys, cool place, reasonable price, easy experience. Other places quoted me way more for a small job, or wouldn't give me any quote over the phone. I'll definitely be back and let my friends know!

Absolutely the best service I could have hope for when my daughter's car broke just after moving to KC. Chris and Johnny explained everything in detail knowing the emotional side and worked quickly to complete the repairs. If you need your vehicle repaired, take it here.

After waiting for a week for AAA, KC Autoworx 39th came to my rescue. They came to my house to jump my car and changed the battery. On top of that they made time to change my oil too. They did all that in an hour. You are heroes.

KC AutoWorx1310 West 39th StreetKansas City, Missouri 64111Simply put - Highly Recommend because of their genuine honesty, great work, affordability, and because they stand by their repairs.We have been taking our older model vehicle there for awhile and the last repair was about six months ago and included replacing the alternator and battery. Basic repair work, but even then they worked the schedule and had the car in and out in less than a day - which for the working person is a blessing so as not to miss work. This time they had us in and out in less than a couple hours.Last week our vehicle was experiencing some trouble while on the other side of KC and we contacted several automotive repair shops in that area to avoid towing charges and all said we d have a one week of more wait to get the car looked at. So we contacted our regular repair service - KC Autoworx - and they said to bring it by and they would take a look. We had the car brought over in the late afternoon, around closing time and early the next morning they called and said they d run a diagnostic test and the car was ready. Best part - they said it was a simple fix and no charge. Car runs beautifully.KC Autoworx is a Full Service automotive repair service with great mechanics located in the downtown area of KC. They have a customer orientated staff who are committed to their work. We have used them for a variety of services; from the state inspection, regular oil changes, to more complicated work. I was quoted $300 for a repair that just needed washers & new screws on a metal piece under my car from Automan. I come here & they fix it for $0. They have earned my business & I will be recommending them to others!

After a horrible experience with a previous mechanic a pal recommended Autoworx! They were extremely professional, fast, and kind. They had online systems in place online for quote breakdowns and looked around for a universal part to help keep my overall bill lower. My car has literally never run so smooth and I feel so grateful to have found a new place I can trust!

Dropped off for a simple oil change return to pick up my truck and it s wrecked but it s not KC Autoworxxx problem. I would recommend going elsewhere, there are an abundance of options in the area.

I needed help on a Friday after 5pm and the team was quick to help patch a tire and order tires to install Monday. They were even willing to stay late to make sure my tires got put on after a busy day. Thankful for the quick help!Service: TiresService: Tires

Needed my lug nuts replaced and really had put it off for over a year... because I was told it was fine to do without. The reason for putting it off was because I didn't want to deal with going to a dealership and waiting and then they take up my whole freakin' day.Found KC Autoworx on 39th street and they took care of lug but situation in under an hour. I paid what was quoted to me and went about my day. It was magical to know a small local business would be quick and efficient and affordable. I would a thousand percent always recommend KC Autoworx as they are such a great crew, they let me sit there and pet the dog! It's got a nice crew if people and they are transparent! Find me a place that is transparent about car work.. I'll wait...Any negative reviews about this place should be discredited.Service: Tires

I had my side view mirror smashed while parked on the street a few weeks ago. The first place I went to told me I would have to replace the entire wing and they were not able to extract specific parts for a repair. I could only find a replacement that was the basic part with no paint, which was a bummer. I waited a few weeks and got a second opinion here and they quoted me $50 less! I didn't mention anything about the part I ordered not matching when I dropped it off. They went the extra mile to take apart my replacement to use only the parts needed to repair so I could keep my original wing with the correct paint color. It was such a lovely gesture! The entire service took less than 20 minutes. So glad to have this place just down the road from me. I'd recommend them to anyone!Service: Side view mirror repair

Not only the nicest dudes but I m convinced they are the literal best, had some mystery car troubles on a long road trip with every stitch me and my girlfriend own in it and Johnny not only fixed us up but also fixed what the previous mechanic messed up. We could not have asked for more. p.s. also points for music taste ( heard them playing minor threat )

I've been taking vehicles to the KC Autoworx on Southwest Blvd for years, so I was thrilled that they opened a second location even closer to my home. Today we had them install a set of tires for us, and it was exactly the same level of quality work and friendly attitude we've experienced at their other shop.

I went in knowing my vehicle needed quite the checkup after not really having been serviced during the height of the pandemic, and I wasn't exactly sure what that would entail. Even though there ended up being a long list of things that needed to be done, these guys were efficient and worked with my schedule, all while communicating everything with honesty and clarity. They went above and beyond what I had expected, even helping pop out a dent I've been procrastinating on.Thank you for your time and labor, it is so greatly appreciated!

Most people know how hard it is to find an honest and trustworthy mechanic. You can stop looking once you step foot into either of KCAutoworx locations. All of the staff at KCAUTOWORX go above and beyond to make sure your vehicle is safe for the road. They also go out of their way to explain everything as clearly as possible in order to make sure you understand the reasoning for repairs and maintenance. I am always a little weary walking in automotive repair shops since I am a female and know I tend to get the runaround. Not here. They were upfront and broke everything down for me without making me feel inadequate, they got my car in and out within a reasonable time frame and were so very kind. Kc Autoworx on 39th is the only place I will take my car from now on.
