Kevin was very professional and courteous. He only performed the necessary work and did it quick and at a reasonable price. I will definitely return to Corman for future repairs.

On their website they advertise CVT transmission repair. I called Kevin and he said they do not service these transmission and to call corporate an ask why. I explained to him what the transmission was doing and his explanation is the transmission is junk. If these kind of wild assumption are how they diagnose their customers cars then they have undoubtedly wasted a lot of peoples money and time by throwing parts at something to fix it. I'm genuinely shocked that someone could run a business like this. Disgraceful

I just had my transmission done on my 2020 Nissan Kicks and not only was the service quick fast but the customer service was exceptional even when I lost all hope on how I was gonna get through this Kevin helped me get the help I need to get the job done. I m always skeptical of everything but these folks do right by you and truly are there to help. I will definitely be back for any automotive needs. Thanks yall

Kevin's crew at Cottman Transmission on Wornall replaced my Nissan Altima transmission in less than two days time after they notified that the transmission came in. Very professional service. Been taking my vehicles there for over 30 years.

Well I did my own transmission fluid with valvaline cvt instead of the Nissan cvt fluid and test drove it it was not shifting right. So I took it to cottman and basically I was told that since I didn't use Nissan cvt fluid that my transmission might be toast and threw them testing that's what I was told that needed new transmission. As far as getting it in and done that was good. Right after I was having starter issues so I went to replace that and noticed a part of the wire harness wasn't connected to the transmission with it bolt no big deal but then the two upper starter bolts weren't tight and the lower bolt came right out with my fingers. So I google it and loose starter bolts cause a bad ground and ruin your starter. It's not a easy project on my car to replace the stater and my wife needs her car for work can't afford rental since I just pay $5000.00 he said bring it back. She was already out of work for a week couldn't afford to drop it off on just my word against his but I feel he owed the cost of a new starter but I couldnt afford the car to be in a shop a second time. So I give one star. And never go back again.

Kevin is a very pleasant professional person to work with. I've been to the shop before and was totally satisfied with the work that was performed and I'm glad to say that I'm still pleased with the work that was performed on my other vehicle as well. After paying much more than expected at my car repair shop for many years, my heart was at ease after the transmission diagnosis and professionalism from Kevin at Cottman. As anyone will tell you, be sure to maintain your car as frequent as possible, especially when there may be an emergency transmission issue that occurs. Grateful for honest, smart folks like Kevin. This is the second time I ve used Cottman for my 1998 Ford Expedition. The first time was for the transfer case control module. This time was for U-Joints. Both times, the diagnosis was quick and correct, and the service competently and expeditiously carried out. In both cases I first went to reputable shops that lacked the specialized skills. Cottman is my go to place for drive train issues. Highly recommend.

Had to have transmission work done on my car. Took it to Cottman for the first time. They were quick in diagnosis and explained options. They completed the work in a few days, very quick. Very professional and knowledgable. I highly reccomend Cottman.

I was sure I needed a new alternator. He ran a diagnostic on the charging system and all was good. He did find a loose battery cable and tightened it. He could have charged me for a new alternator or any number of things. I highly recommend this business. He has integrity and is honest.

Kevin and his team was very attentive to my needs. I called him on a Thursday and let him know about my transmission issue. They sent a tow service by Friday and my car was up and running by Tuesday. Cottman did a great job on several different repairs my car needed. Kevin the manager was very knowledgeable, courteous, considerate, and helped me understand what was wrong with my car and how they proposed to fix it, offering options if there were any. They are reasonably priced. Kevin went out of his way to look into other options concerning my transmission. He even calls to check on how my car is doing after they have repaired it. Cottman Transmission was recommended to us by our local mechanic since we believed our issue might be transmission related. I called and talked a live person and didn't have to wait long at all. Kevin was professional and courteous and listened to what our situation was. He said he could look at it that morning and even offered to help us get it towed. We were able to get a quick diagnosis and it wasn't a transmission, rather drive train issue. They took care of it right away and was very professional about it. I was not disappointed. My 05 Toyota needed routine maintenance, Kevin went over the options; that was easily understood. Sooner than l expected, the transmission and drive train service was completed. Not knowing they offered other maintenance services, I asked about brakes and radiator service. Yep. They do that as well. By 9 AM the very next day Kevin called to let me know our truck was completed.Anyway, 3 days later, all well and done. My 4 Runner seems so much smoother, and also with more pickup.Very informative and friendly service. Thanks!

I had Kevin take a look at my car as I had a persistent problem with it over revving. Kevin was quick to diagnose the problem, gave me a competitive quote, and had the job complete by mid day. Don t recommend if you re a woman. I called on 7/11 to schedule a transmission flush but instead I feel as if I was treated as if I was incompetent by the questions asked in a condescending tone. My dad is retired truck driver and didn t necessarily want to do it if he didn t have to but he just did it instead after I told him about my experience calling around. All I needed was a flush like I asked for.

The clutch went out on my 2007 VW Eos. I had taken the car to another repair shop first but the work needed was outside their expertise. Kevin correctly diagnosed the problem and replaced my clutch. I originally purchased the car used and I liked the way the clutch felt at that time, but the new clutch feels and performs better than when I first got the car. It has been a couple of months now and everything is still working great. I'm a happy customer and I would definitely take my car to Cottman if it should need work in the future.Service: Transmission repair

Was recommended by Firestone due to transmission failure and need I say I highly recommend this place! I called the same day I left Firestone and was able to drop my vehicle off afterwards. I was informed about the issues with my car, was guided to fill out a car loan for my vehicle, and was given very great suggestions regarding my transmission. My son's transmission went out about a month ago and where it broke down was a block away from Cotman Transmission, so I drove it there. They let me know my options and how long it would take to get a transmission shipped in. (Fyi, it is taking everyone awhile to get parts in, it's just the way it is right now)! Once the part got in, they got it done in a timely manner! We were very impressed. We bring it back in a couple of weeks for a check up! Highly recommend!Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

Thanks to Kevin for the quick diagnosis and replacement of a faulty alternator. The swap was performed quickly after receipt of the new part and I was on my way shortly thereafter!
