The old man that I talked to the whole time about my tire completely acted like he had no interest in being there and was NOT paying attention to anything I said when I was telling him which tire needed changed so I told him at least 4 times it's the drivers side that needs changed. Well, he changed the passenger side because he's incompetent. When I got to my car and seen this I told him he did the wrong one. He acted all pissy like it was somehow my fault that he doesn't know how to do his job. So apparently it pissed him off that he doesn't know the difference between drivers side and passengers side so he intentionally cross threaded one of my lug nut posts...

We had a flat tire on I-44. Mike Danner came to our rescue with the fantastic service truck. He took care of everything, ordered a new tire which was mounted the next morning. Excellent service, excellent staff. Put their number in your phone.

Called for a flat tire on a company car on a rainy Friday afternoon. They came to us to fix it in record time and didn't charge an arm and a leg! This really could have ruined a perfectly good Friday but Purcell Tire saved the day!

I called about mounting some 19.5 tires for my Super duty and they said bring them in. While I was there I mentioned that the truck needed the alignment checked. They said if I had a little time to wait they could work me in. I ended up getting everything done in about 2.5 hours that everyone else in the area said would take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks to work me in. Very happy with the fast and competent service at a fair price. I will definitely return. Thanks again, Alton

We Ruined a tire at 7 pm on a Saturday in Carthage Mo. My Son-in-law call Pucell and they said they did not have that size tire but would check other shops. Hour and half later and several calls letting us know they were still looking, they found the correct tire. Brian Hodges showed up and did a great and quick job of getting us back on the road. Thank you to everyone involved.

Got grease all over my why didnt truck. Steering wheel drivers door and driver seat. Striped two screws on dash when changing break valve. If he didn't know what he was doing why didn't he ask for help

I had some work done on my suspension for my semi truck at a mechanic shop in Joplin, Mo. After the rear shackles were worked on, my alignment was shot and the truck jerked to the left. The shop told me that was normal and that I needed to take it to your shop to get an alignment. Here is where everything fell apart at the seems. I paid for the alignment but it didn't fix the pull to the left. The shop manager, Randy Hall, stepped into action trying to figure out what was going on. After much troubleshooting with failed results, he decided to hook it back up to the machine and go under the truck for a more thorough inspection. It was at this point when he discovered that the mechanic shop in town failed to tighten brackets securing the drivers side leaf spring and that shims were missing on the passenger side. Rather than send me away to deal with the problems caused by the other shop, Randy decided to take care of the customer, even if when it was time for the business to close for the night. He and several others worked hard to fix the problem. Time kept ticking away with everybody going home, one by one. That is until a road mechanic (Jon Kelly) returned back to the shop for his end of day. He jumped into action and helped Randy, along with another associate who was helping to give advise over the phone. Hours passed until they finally reached success as all the alignment numbers fell into place. It's customer service like this that is a thing of the past, so I thought. I can't express the gratitude I have for the sacrifice both Randy and Jon made on my behalf when they could have easily sent me back to the mechanic that caused all this hardship, losing yet another day of pay. If I lived in Joplin, I guarantee that you would have me as a loyal customer for life! Thank you for having people who care working for your establishment!

Went in last weekend to get a rotate and balance on my dually. They assumed I wanted bead weights, which caused my truck to bounce all week. Took it back to have the job done right, by having the beads taken out and the tires spun balanced. They took the beads out of the front, and didn't balance them and didn't touch the rear tires. My best advice for people that want the job done right the first time is find someone other than Purcell Tire. I now have to go pay someone else to do the job I've already paid for.

While on a coast to coast road trip we found ourselves in need of tire service on our RV. Kendra, Donny and Quinton were exceptionally accommodating, informed and honest. We had to stay overnight while they got us safely back on the road with new tires all around and we were carefree for the rest of our trip. Thanks guys, you're a gem in the industry. Donny, Quinton deserves a raise so he can buy that boat ! ;) H.Ryan

Traveling I44 in our RV and needed the new tires we had put on (and balanced) 160 miles back re-balanced. They were quick to get us taken care of, and very fair priced.Thank you Purcell!The Smiths

I asked the women who answered the phone how much their mudding tires ran and after getting the price, we went to get two tires put on. The mudding tires were anything but. They had WORSE traction than our ran down old all terrain ones that were being taken off. Not even a week later they looked like we had been driving on them for a few months and he had only been driving back and forth to work.As far as their workmanship and customer service, it took far too long to get them changed. There were several times that the employees were just standing around talking.

I had a tire sensor light come on suddenly as I was driving home to NW Iowa. They quickly got me in to check that everything was okay and got me on my way again. Thank you for the fast service and allaying my fears!

Don't waste your time going here. I took my pickup in for a grinding noise figured it was bearings. They replaced all kinds of unnecessary parts racked up over a grand in repairs and didn't fix the grinding noise. Total rip off plus over 300% markup on parts. Would never go back.

Waited over an hour. Tire leak deemed to be a faulty valve stem extension. No charge. Was flat again the next morning! Won't be back!

Very rude, definitely don't recommend because of the poor customer care service, I strongly suggest going somewhere else where you will be treated decently.
