I highly recommend their service department. I had a water pump let loose at 1am.The Night Service Manager even tho, they were extremely busy and told me it'll probably be morning before they can repair it. Made sure they had one in stock . The day shift got me in first thing and out the door. It's nice when you walk into a place and you can sense customer service is a priority before you even talk with someone.That's what I experienced. Thank you

I ll recommend anyone here second time and they always get me in out very respectful never sat for over 3 hours both time I came here super fast workers first time I came had to get a Knox sensor replaced this time I had a couple coolant hose replaced and a new water pump and a pogo stick they did it within 3 hours only waited 40 minutes to check in a bay after I got there good job people good job

I recently purchased a used 2021 Kenworth W900L from MHC Kenworth Joplin.Let me begin by saying that my salesman, Dustin Guilford, and my finance contact, Dylan Huber, were the shining stars of my buying experience. I couldn't have asked for more from either gentleman...when I picked up the truck there were a few minor issues that I requested to be fixed...1. Repair/replace inoperative lock actuator on driver's side door.2. Replace marker lights with turn signals (customer provided), right side bumper stick inoperative, wiring not connected.3. Turn up truck speed to 75 mph.4. Replace worn wiper blades.5. Adjust exhaust stacks.Since some, but not all, of these repairs were not necessary to pass an inspection, I paid the $700+ bill without question.As Dustin requested the shop to do a yearly inspection (at his expense out of the deal) I ASSUMED that all was in order and the truck was road worthy.This, however, was a mistake on my part.1. The lock actuator, while successfully repaired, resulted in the window being off of its track.2. Windshield washer inoperative.3. Truck speed not turned up to 75.4. Engine oil 3 gallons low.5. Rear marker lights inoperative.The above repairs were done at my expense (again), and MHC offered goods/services in exchange, which was honorable and appreciated.Upon arriving back home and doing a deeper inspection from back to front and top to bottom, I found that there was an issue with the inside front drive tires.The previous owner had installed 285s all around, and in doing so, didn't allow for proper clearance of the half fender brackets. This caused contact that damaged the tires, which was hidden to a large degree by the fenders.When I notified MHC of the issue, the sales manager declined to assist in resolving it, even after my offering to return to the dealership (975 mi) at my own expense.Did I do my own thorough post repair inspection at the dealership? No.However, after paying $180,000+, I believe that the expectation of receiving a fully functional, road worthy vehicle that successfully passes either a roadside or a dealership DOT inspection without spending an additional $5,000 is a reasonable one.

This is 24/7 location, they have big and nice facility. I have run into few issues with my truck, and was not able to fix it immediately. However, manager David gave me idea of possible problems and solutions. Very convenient place for repairs on the weekends or late hours. GPS will send you to Pilot truck stop, Kenworth will be across the bridge from Pilot.

Alex worked hard to get my parts and returned my calls. Scott and Floyd made sure our purchases were competed and went well. Great service. I will definitely be returning.

I have nothing but great things about this facility from Larry the Salesman all the way down to Lloyd in the body shop who has since retired. The reason for this review is to give some credit to where I feel it s due in the parts department. A young man by the the name of Alex Garton has given me nothing but stellar service time and time again. From tracking down parts at all hours of the day he always comes through. Most recently I was tracking down some things and was asked to follow up the next day. Upon doing so Alex answered his cell from the hospital with his girlfriend being admitted. I asked him to take care of matters at hand and call me the next day. A hour later he called to confirm all was good with her and that my parts did in fact get delivered to my home. That ability to go above and beyond seems to get lost by so many anymore. MHC Kenworth you better take care of that kid or someone will snatch him up!

The experience was positive. We referred one of our clients to this branch where he chose a 2013 peterbilt and their sales rep (Shaine) was very professional, courteous and made the entire transaction go smoothly. We will definitely refer more of our clients to them and highly recommended anyone to purchase their trucks with confidence.

Update: i gotta go back to 2 stars. I am now going to be late to pick my brother up from the airport and possibly miss a 1 of 2 days i get to see him. They have all these trucks in there that we re getting attended too throughout the day which are CFI or local guys, but they got drivers sleeping in there lounge for days that aren t local. There was maybe 5-8 guys during the day and 2 mechanics at night.I decided to change my review because of one dude, thomas, day shop foreman . I was told i would be stuck here for quite a while and this dude pulled some strings and is trying to get me out. Facility is good, drivers lounge does need a little TLC. Some employees could be more helpful or better with communication. But overall not a bad shop.

I was worried as first time truck buyer until I got there and meet Dustin . All transactions were very easy and fast with him . He responded all my single questions . I had to drive 2000 miles back to home after I got truck , no issues, trip was very comfortable and smooth ! I want to say a lot of thanks to Dustin and all others at MHC Joplin . Definitely recommending that place for everyone . Thanks Dustin, a lot, a lot. Hopefully see you next year again as we talked because of same reasons

MHC parts department is one of the best in Joplin. Everyone in the front always welcomes you and gets to right away. If they don't have a part in stock the try to have for you the next morning. If they can.

Thank you to David Gilford for being a amazing salesman and thank you to MHC Kenworth of Joplin. They are top notch. Bought a W900 here. Everything was as professional as is it should be. They have followed up with me several times, just to check in with me on how the truck and everything with the truck is getting along. Excellent service department as well. Definitely do business with them again.

Good professional guys. I had a serious problem with the front left spring. The guys repaired the truck quickly and efficiently. And I was able to arrive at the appointed time and pick up the cargo. Thank you very much!

I hope this is a warning for those considering going to Kenworth to STAY AWAY!! Don't rely on this place to help you in a pinch. I came in with an oil pressure issue on my CAT 3126 C7500 truck. They made an appointment to get me in a few hours later, which was fine. However when I came back in (drove 30mins) no one even bothered to acknowledge me. Not only that the so called "Cat mechanic" and Forman Mark Morgan, told me I wouldn't be able to get in until 7pm when my appointment was for 5pm. I had just gotten done driving 20hrs and needed this issue diagnosed before having to leave again the next day. Mark flat out blew me off in every way possible and displayed very clearly his lack of knowledge about Cat engines. I DO NOT APPRECIATE HOW DISRESPECTFUL THIS EMPLOYEE WAS. He refused to even consider helping me. I will defiantly be taking my business elsewhere. I hope this is a warning for those considering going to them to STAY AWAY!!!!!

Brought the w900 in service. Needed a trans clutch brake and the fan constantly running with the A/C on. Charged $180 to tell me there is no cabin air filter.$1800 later nothing was repair correctly.

Great but they recently raised their hourly shop rate to $217. A hr. I think thats excessive. They did a great job on my air conditioner though...

Guys Guys Guys I sat around for 7 hours for them to tell me they could not work on my old school cat engine. They have a billboard out front that says cat I was told they did not have the proper tools. I wasted 7 hours of my life that I'll never get back. Shop rate here is $217 an hour I didn't get charged but a waste of my time.

Well I have to take my truck back to the shop after a week of driving I was backing the truck up and it just stop backing up I had to put it in neutral and put it bac in reverse. Then it s a wrench light keeps coming on and going off. So I talked to the manager Kyler about the problem. He says I need to take it back to the shop I m mentally exhausted. I hope it s just a sensor or something but we ll see. Stay tuned for experience with Mhc
