Bought a new car and brought to iveys to have them look it over. They were able to replace a sensor and diagnosed my car at a very affordable price! They put on new wipers for me at no cost, very friendly, & they even gave me a ride back home while my car was in their shop! 100% recommend, will be using their services again!

Honest. Fast. And friendly! I was told by another shop in town I needed to replace my brakes on both axels including everything and was quoted $1,070 by the other shop. My boyfriend knew that was way too high. I took my car to Ivy s instead. They checked it, and told me my break pads were at 60% and 70% and basically nothing was wrong with them or any part of the breaks. I truly appreciate their honesty after the other place tried to charge me a lot for something I didn t need. They could have done that too but were honest instead. Thank you!! And they are nice and friendly when you come in!

I've never used Ivey's, but my mom does. She recently brought her car in for a transmission inspection and they didn't charge her for it. My mom is a 75 year old retiree and that meant a lot to her, as she needs a new transmission. They've done quality work for her many times before and have always been really modestly priced. While I haven't had to opportunity to use them yet, I will the next time I need a mechanic. Check them out.

I brought a Volvo wagon here after being quoted $4500 in electrical fees as a college student. I paid $1500 for the Volvo. I took a chance and had it towed here. They replaced a $5 rotor (switch?) and gave it back to me running. Which they didn t charge me. When I need to know if someone can figure out what s wrong with a vehicle or not. This is my go to. Pam and her staff are top notch. At this time I think she needs a couple more good mechanics (06/21/22) that s the only complaint I have. But we all know good help is hard to find these days.

Great teamOur air-conditioning went out on a trip, we didn't have enough time in Joplin for the team to fix the problem but they tried, cleaned the filter and wouldn't charge us.

Everyone here is great from the first call to the work being done. I am in town for a very short visit and needed a cv axle done. They were able to get me in, get the work done, and charged a fair price for the work. I would highly recommend these guys for anything you need done.

I have never been to Ivey's service center in my life: but my daughter has, 3 or 4 times. She was in college and had car problems a few times over the last 3 years. These people went out of their way to take care of her and worked around her school and work schedule. They even offered to and did, pick her up at work on more than 1 occasion so her car was available to her before they closed for the day. Places like this are hard to find and we VERY MUCH appreciate everything they did for her and us while provideing QUALITY work at very reasonable prices. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Always does a great job! I have never had a bad experience with Pam, or any of her mechanics. I will go back to Ivey's as long as they are open.

Pam is always so nice and thoughtful. Being a female in this industry it can be intimidating to take your car to a shop you can trust, it s been almost 4 years now that I have been doing business with Iveys service center. Their prices have always been fair! I trust this shop and it the services they provide to myself or anyone looking for great and fair place to get your car fixed or inspected.Service: Engine repair

Been going here a while, but never again after yesterday. 3-1-23. Husband said not do anything with the ac to try and find out what on earth is going on with transmission(been leaking and they couldn't find it, but passed inspection somehow). They did ac anyways and charged me for it and told me the transmission is going out. Specifically said not to do something and you did it anyways and charged me. Paid for it and so will they by not getting my business anymore. Would not recommend.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Vehicle safety inspection

So, my car broke down and after some hunting on google I found this place with a good amount of positive reviews.I called them, and they were able to take my car the next day, diagnosed the car correctly gave me a very reasonable quote for the problem, and repaired it the same day for the price that was quoted to me.Honestly, although it was brief; it was the best experience I ve ever had at a auto shop and if you ve spent the time to read this, you know how hard you that is to find. Highly recommended!

This is a truly great customer first satisfaction always first class place to get your car serviced and repaired by the best people! I just cannot say enough about how well I was treated and how efficiently and effectively my car repair was handled! You will leave with a smile from their friendly service! Excellent, very reasonable prices.I have a Subaru with warranty 4 ever. Need service every 6000 miles for the warranty. Ivey's are 1/2 the price of the dealership. They went above and beyond what I expected and did not go over the estimate I was given. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

If you're looking for a truly trustworthy mechanic shop This is it. They came and picked up my vehicle. Kept me informed on the cars progress. They did everything in a timely manner. My car runs like a brand new car again, and it's a 20 Year old Pontiac Bonneville. Great place. My vehicle will always be taken here.Thank you Mrs. Pamela Ivey

We were driving thru from Arkansas to omaha and had a check engine light come up. We googled car repair (since Toyota in Joplin said they couldn t fit us in) and find ivey s. They got us right in. Scanned the car computer and replaced the part in less that an hour!!!! They were SO nice and SO helpful!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDService: Engine repairService: Engine repair

WOW NO CHARGE!!! On a trip up from Dallas to St. Louis, I had a mechanical issue, Ivey s is Honest and caring! The guys at Ivey s are kind gentlemen! Simply the Best! Genuine no BS! I brought my suv in because it was making a terrible noise, turns out it was the A/C compressor. I was early just before they opened. A mechanic was just walking into work, and stated that they were booked about 1 week out, but the mechanic took time to diagnose and remove the A/C compressor belt so I did not get stranded! When he was finished he walked in and said your ready to go, I asked how much, He replied NO CHARGE !!!! I insisted on payment but he laughed and said it s before 8 AM! I could not thank him enough! Don t waste time. Go to the best! Even if you have to wait! I went to them based on their reviews!

Was so THANKFUL to find Ivey's on my travels during Christmas time! Our car was not drivable and they came to the rescue. They went over the call of duty to care for my family and I. I felt comfortable, safe, and could trust them with my car. They took care of my van with expedited care and concern. Thank you, thank you!

The Ivey Service center has been a accent to Joplin for years. Reliable/ honest/. Pam the owner is warm and knowlegable. Above all they are HONEST! They have worked on my classic 1972 Posche 914. Great job everytime!..

DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC SHOP. Upon changing my lower ball joints, I took my vehicle to get inspected. They failed my vehicle stating, Your lower ball joints are shot. They then tried nickle and dime me to replace my ball joints . The mechanics at this shop are not qualified to fix vehicles, let alone to inspect them! Definitely a waste of my time and money. Don t make the same mistake I made, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Went in for an oil change, and to have a rattle noise looked at. This mechanic comes out and tells me this dramatic story of my rotors being bad and blue, and how I shouldn't drive my truck far. It was some $6.49 hardware that I needed. He wanted $250. He just thought he spotted a poor defenseless woman, but my dad has had me in the garage more than I can recall. Scam artist is what he was.

I called about a problem with my car and they said they were booked, but that they could at least look at it to see what's wrong. It was a simple problem so they fixed it right away and explained what had happened. They've always done great work, been very helpful, and have great prices.

This shop is awesome! They gave me an honest evaluation, quick turnaround, and couldn t have been more helpful or friendly. It s hard to find a good and honest mechanic, these guys are both. Highly recommend!

My heater core went out on me and I had my car towed to this shop as a recommendation from a friend. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I paid almost $800 dollars for parts and labor... Soon after getting on the road I noticed water leaking into the passenger floor board, it was cold water which lead me to believe it was from the AC I called the shop right away and was told the mechanic probably didn't get the line pulled all the way out and they would be in touch to where I could take my car and assured me it wasn't a big deal and that I should continue with plans I had made to drive to Branson MO. So i did, well just before arriving at my destination the car began to leak antifreeze bad. I got to my hotel and waited until the next day to look at it closer. I couldn't tell where it was leaking and it was a Saturday so Ivey's Service Center was closed so I drove my car home stopping every 10 miles to refill the radiator mind you the AC leak on the passenger side had became so bad there was standing water in the passenger side floor board and completely soaked all the way to the back of the rear floor board and I could hear the water sloshing inside the dash. I called the shop owner John that Monday and explained everything to him and he NEVER once apologized all he said was call the 800 number that we gave you with the warranty. Come to find out the new heater core was installed wrong and there is a coolant line leaking. I specifically asked that they check all coolant lines and pressure test the system once the heater core was installed. The mechanic I talked to on that Friday I asked did you all check over everything like I asked he said "yeap" and I said the pressure test revealed no problems? He says oh we don't have the fitting to pressure check Volks Wagons. So I strongly recommend anyone considering taking there vehicle to Ivey's seriously re-consider... I paid $800 for nothing...
