On Tuesday August 15, 2023 I left St Louis, Missouri en route to visit my cousin who was in hospice care in San Antonio, Texas. I prefer to drive at night so I left at 5pm. About 10pm I was about halfway between Springfield and Joplin when my car died on interstate 44 and I coasted to a stop on the shoulder. I started the car and continued only to get about five miles down the road and it died again. I repeated the same process many times until I made it to Joplin. I got a hotel and spent the night.I contacted two shops the next morning, but they were booked up and would not accommodate a traveler in the old school thought to take care of a traveler first. I called C.R. Autoworks and they agreed to help me. Brenden and Roger took great care of me. The problem with my car was electronic and elusive, but they worked tirelessly to fix it over the next two days. After many hours of diagnostic work they were able to repair my car Friday morning and I was able to travel onto my destination.These guys are the best! If you re looking for empathetic, sincere, dedicated, genuine, fair, and HONEST mechanics in the Joplin area look no further than C.R. Autoworks.

Amazing customer service. I was able to get my Cadillac in the same day to be looked at, which was a big relief. The whole team of employees listened to my concerns and responded with care and honesty. Brandon and Roger were first class with customer service and satisfaction. Needed a part fast as we were just passing through and Roger s wife drove to a dealership in KC to get it so we didn t have to spend another night in a motel. Can t thank them enough for their fast and friendly service!

C&R works is truly a place of business that if you're ever in the Carl junction Missouri area and also he's Mobile mechanic and will come out to you depending on the distance. You will want to look up this business and take your vehicle to him. Roger is very professional honest and a pleasant person he takes his time he's patient with trying to get the issue resolved and have you on your way he is truly a blessing sent from God. Thank God for Roger. I truly recommend anyone that's in the area or near to contact C&R works you will not be disappointed. if there were more stars I will rate them 10 Stars hands down. I pray that he and his family receive all the blessings that they stand in need of.

If 10 stars was an option, this company would get a 10/10 would definitely recommend. Roger came out to meet us near Baxter Springs because we had a few tires blow out on a trailer we were hauling a tractor and mower on. We only had one spare, Roger was able to contact a few people and get some tires for us around 8:30pm on a Saturday! Not only did he take our old blown tires off, he took the rims to get new tires mounted for us (about an hour away). He came back, got all 4 tires put back on and we were able to make it safely home. He went ABOVE and BEYOND for us this evening to make sure we could get back on the road. And you CANNOT beat the price, especially for an after hours call that kept him out until almost midnight. Can't say enough about this company, they truly care about their customers.Service: Tires

Our ignition went out on our way from Texas to Florida. We were stranded in +100� weather at a rest area near Joplin MO. Roger brought us a brand new key hoping ours was just worn out and an easy fix but no such luck. This man stayed with us, he never left, and worked on our truck until it was up and running again. Wonderfully pleasant man even though I was in a less than pleasant mood. He is a lifesaver with very reasonable prices. Thank you so much!

Roger is the best! We're from out of town on a Saturday and an engine light popped up. We weren't sure if it's safe for us to drive home. He inspected and diagnosed the car for us as soon as we arrived. He is awesome!

Highly recommend to everyone! Roger helped me save a little money by giving me great advice over the phone when my car wouldn t start and got it up and running. They truly have the customers best interest in mind and their perfect 5 star record proves it!

My wife's heat had gone out in her Ford Escape a while ago and we had finally gotten around to fixing it. We were recommended by a friend to take the vehicle here. I advised them of what I thought the issue was, but ultimately knew that they'd know what the issue was once they started looking. One of the employees was fast with diagnosing the issue and made me an itemized list of repairs and cost, which was helpful. I spoke to my wife about it and called them to confirm an appointment. The person whom Id gotten ahold of when scheduling wasn't aware of my issue, so I filled him in and assumed that when he scheduled me, he'd pass the information along. I dropped the vehicle off the night before and received a phone call in the morning asking what service I needed. At this point I began getting worried especially because I'd had to communicate the diagnosis that they'd given me like 3 times, but they worked on the vehicle for the amount of time they'd specified and I went to pick it up later in the day. My wife drove the vehicle home and we tested it all day and still no heat! I called the shop back the next day and asked if they'd even checked to see if what they did worked and they said they weren't sure what was even wrong with my car! The mechanic that answered assumed that the vehicle was overheating and thought that was why they had replaced what they replaced. They even told me on the phone that they realized the heat wasn't working and that the coolant that was already in the vehicle was discolored. They asked us to take our vehicle back to them so they could flush out the coolant and the mechanic found a leak in the coolant reservoi, which is what I suggested was the issue in the first place! They flushed out the old coolant and advised that they'd do it again if the heat stopped working, but I am very disappointed with the lack of communication within the company and the lack of quality control. Don't waste your time here.Service: Air conditioning

Brandon got me in to get my AC fixed during the hottest week Missouri has seen in years. They ran diagnostics and gave me an incredible quote on a new AC compressor. All in all they fixed it within the morning. Highly recommend going to C.R. Auto-Works for whatever you need. They are extremely caring and quick to get your car fixed. 5 stars are not enough. Roger was a lifesaver... We drove from Pennsylvania to Missouri for the holiday. On the way down our car started to leak. I know nothing about cars and scared out of my mind. Riding with my husband, daughter, and 5 bunnies in the car. We pulled over in Tennessee, called for a local mechanic to come out. He was able to give us tips on filling the Radiator with two gallons of water ever 100 miles.Well this tip was able to get us to Missouri safe. Arriving our family made some calls and found Roger. He came right away. Now don t let me forget, my husband went to someone else first and they misdiagnosed the car. So when Roger came he said the problem wasn t the radiator, head gasket, water pump, and belt. Which would have ran us $1500 out of pocket up front.Roger said no!!!!! It s not none of that. It s only the water pump. A $175 job including parts and my husband tipped him $25.A SUPER LIFE SAVER!!!!!

I have used Roger several times on several vehicles. Being a single mom means I don't always know what that "sound" is but know it needs fixed. He has always been honest about his prices, and willing to check things over for me. I've never had an issue with the job not being done on time or having to take it back because it wasn't correct. I recommend him to every person I know.

Roger Is Awesome! My name is Keem he serviced my Dodge Grand Caravan in the cold on a puddle of water. He never complained for one second. Had to run to the store not once, not twice, but three times. Didn't try to beat me over the head with an outrageous price. As cold as it was he took his time as if he was in a heated garage. I definetly would recommend him for his expertise, ambition, and patience. I usually don't write reviews hence I don't have Google I am actually using my wife Google account just because I wanted to leave my feedback. Roger is a good dude may blessings fall upon him.

Roger saved us on a Saturday night driving to Carl Junction from Springfield my transmission went out on side of highway. Trailer in tow and whole family Roger kindly towed our trailer to our carl junction house, and came back and towed my truck back to his shop and put a re built transmission in for a super reasonable price. Roger is the best mechanic there is. Just a down right honest and good guy. I d trust him with any work on my wife and I s vehicles. If you don t speak mechanic he has a way to describe what s going on and what he s doing so that you understand it. He will not take advantage and charge you an arm and leg for simple repairs. I d refer him to anyone.

Roger is a great Mechanic, he's very honest & reliable, & he doesn't over charge! I love that he tells you what he is doing and what is wrong in detail so we understand. If there is something he can't do, he will point you in the direction of someone who can. He seriously is the best around!

This mobile mechanic was so wonderful and he diagnosed the correct problem right away and was there the next day with the parts and had it fixed in last time then what they quoted They were very professional and friendly and really new their stuff. Had my car running after it had been sitting in the garage for a few years and I tried everything to get it started and was really in a bit of a bind I would always use this company.

I've been having misfires on my truck I found CR Autoworks on Facebook. Called and he told me to come in or he could come out. I drove to his shop. He has all the fancy tools and high tech gadgets. He diagnosed the problem gave me options to fix it and repaired it for a really fair price. I will be using him again
