I am in love with this place!!! It s like an oasis in the middle of a dessert. It s not just a retreat for your body, but for your spirit and your soul. The owners are the most wonderful people you could ever meet, and the food and bar are phenomenal! They even let me watch my football game on Sunday! If I could just get away and live here year round, I would! Can t wait to go back again and again!Nearby activities: Kayaking, canoeing, hiking, live music and karaoke on site!Food & drinks: OMG, everything on the menu is fantastic! The epic nachos and the burger are my favorites!

This is a must stop! Best restaurant in the area with amazing accommodations for any camping trip. We make it a priority to stop and eat every time we're on the river. I absolutely love this place!

We were primitive camping. The ladies at the front desk/restaurant showed us to our campsite. Parking was much closer in person than shown on the map. So you can car camp easily. Kids had a great time in the pool. Solid enforcement of 10pm quiet time. Shower house and laundry were new and very clean. Owners were available, present and super friendly. Could tell they enjoyed what they were building. We WILL go back.Nearby activities: Nice and close to the Cedar Grove access point. The restaurant/bar had nice local bands playing on the weekend as well. Nice place to hangout and recover from the river. Fun little playground and pool.Safety: Very safe campground, staff present and attentive at all times.Food & drinks: Good food, burgers were great. Nice variety of higher end modern classics.

What a cool little tucked in place. Super friendly people, great food, kid friendly, they have events and live music all the time. The two things I highly recommend: (1) Get the nachos as an entree instead of an appetizer; (2) Camp out here during the holidays instead of the overcrowded regular spots. If you're local you'll definitely want to check their events page for the live music events.

It's the best place I've ever camped!! Live music and keraoke, a bar, and good food. They served our group an awesome breakfast!! The campground was very clean and maintained. Places for bonfires, shower and laundry house picnic tables everywhere. They have cabins and dome tents you can rent. I definitely recommend going there if you love camping!!!

Excellent hospitality experience at this camp ground with many cabins of various sizes. On-site full service restaurant. Great tasting spring water from their well. Owner operators are diligent, professional and love their customers. We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment (upstairs w view east) which was clean, modern and featured a big kitchen. The dining room and patio deck offer a good experience but don't expect fast food here. The menu is short but what do you expect for being in the wilderness! You can always BYOF and cook yourself. This is a developing music venue with a decent stage dropped in a forest setting. Best access via Hwy BB (resort on south side near summit). Hwy 385 fords a creek, is of gravel, and it's steep and very scenic. We made the passage in an Audi A6 sedan (4x4) but Big Creek was low.

Big Rock Candy Mountain is a fantastic place for a getaway!! The owners are extremely friendly, accommodating, & all around great people! This was my third time staying here & we will definitely be back! They continue to add more to the venue each time we visit, always getting better!Family Friendly - Pet Friendly - Friendly VibesThere is an incredible onsite restaurant open 8am-8pm with indoor or deck seating, indoor shower house with laundry room, inground fenced in pool, stages for live music, community bonfire area, & so many other beautiful features to this family friendly campground!!Right off the current river you can spend the day kayaking, canoeing, or floating, but with the campgrounds amazing accommodations it's hard to leave!! There are cabins, yurts, & tent camping on location. In addition, there is often live music, drum circles, & kids activities going on during the weekends. This past weekend I was there for the BongoJak vs The Loop Machine with The Dancing Bear Tribe & they had bounce houses, face painting, hula hoop workshops, flowarts, drum circles, s'mores & so much more!Rooms: Cute decor, clean, & very accommodating!Nearby activities: Current River : Floating, Kayaking, Canoeing, Swimming, & FishingFood & drinks: Incredible food: breakfast, lunch, & dinner!

Great bar and restaurant. The kids loved the pool. Roger went the extra mile for us to be on the river 3 days. Highly recommend and we will be back!

It has great bohemian vibes, A/C, cots, and a table inside. Plenty of head room too! (as I am 5 10 ) Bathrooms and shower rooms on site as well. The river was beautiful, the campsite was a blast, and the owners are so wonderful and fun!I HIGHLY Recommend staying here for your weekend getaway!

Didn't stay went for the food took a friend we shared the nachos and when Rodger suggests doing the half order for 2 people do as he suggested lol Food was fantastic and the hospitality was out of the world because I had my disabled daughter with us as well and she tends to be loud and hyper when she gets on a subject and the owner Rodger brought her out a small puzzle box cube while we were there . This is the best family oriented place you will ever ask for. Thank you for get dining experience.

Wonderful little campground. We stopped in on a Saturday morning and even though they were done serving breakfast for the season and not quite open for lunch they whipped up a nice omelet and bacon and toast for us. Very friendly owners and operators.

Big Rock Candy Mountain and their staff are truly amazing! We stayed with them for 5 days, during our vacation. Our time at BRCM was wonderful! Very quiet, relaxing and just what we needed Roger!Roger and Lela, the owners, are amazing, friendly, helpful, and good hearted people. What they have done with the property is great! The pool was so refreshing on the hot days, along with the Current River. Current river is just a few short mins away with plenty of fishing and swimming fun to be had! They offer a few different lodging options. We went with intentions of primitive tent camping, but were greeted with an opportunity to stay in a glamping tent for our stay, and we took it! The tent was super cute, they came with cots and sleeping bags, but we had our air mattress. They were super nice to stay in, lots of room for a family and a few small kids, or 2 additional adults. They also offer cabins, of all sizes, a big beautiful bell tent, RV hook ups, and primitive and electric tent camping. The Big Chill Bar & Grill is there on site restaurant with the greatest steak nachos!!! Ok the other food was good also, we ate there lunch and dinner only.During our stay BRCM had a family movie night, and live entertainment. Blake Gardner and the Farmers played an amazing set, pool side as the sun set in the background!BRCM offer many live events, you should definitely check them out to see what is going on!We have decided this is our go to place when we go camping!Looking forward to future memories!
