I had issues previously, the turnover at this store was changing every week. They finally have an excellent manager who works effortlessly to provide excellent customer service. Stellar service has been received for the past two months and we hope for a long time coming.

Jim was extremely unpleasant to interact with this morning.I was driving and have an intermittent code and I needed to check it while it was on, and it came on this morning.I walked in and Jim asked how i was. I was having a rough morning and just shook my head a little and said "bad, do you have a code reader?"Jim sighed really loudly and turned around without a word. I just said "yeah that's how I feel about it too."He walked outside to read my codes, but didn't communicate anything to me. Then he got really irritated with me because I didn't know he didn't want the engine on for the code reader, and I turned the engine on. But I turned the engine on AFTER he had already read the codes. I took the pics of the codes and I pointed out that he didn't communicate any of that to me at all so how I was I suppose to know? He just huffed at me and walked inside without any more words.I know reading codes may not be your favorite thing to do, and I know i didn't buy anything (i would have bought the part i needed to fix the cam shaft position sensor from the code but i didn't want to interact with Jim again), and it also may be 8am, but that is ZERO reason to have so much attitude and to be so unpleasant to people. I don't know what Jim was going through, but I was also not having a good morning. However I made the choice to be friendly regardless of how my car was running and now I was late to work. I just needed help, and I went to the closest place that could help.I'm not going to be stopping by this location again. They need to really work on how they communicate with customers. The whole time I was there I felt like I was an inconvenience.Also, Jim treated me like I was stupid.Not everyone has an expertise in cars. My expertise is not in cars. But that doesn't mean you treat people who don't work with expertise poorly when they don't know or understand something. It's your job to communicate what you need to happen and what you don't need to happen, and as a grown adult you should be able to do that without being rude or condescending.

11/2023: Very helpful again. Checked why my Check Engine light was on. I was buying an item that was buy one, get one free and didn't realize it. The gentleman informed me and went and got the second item for me. Really appreciated his service!Very helpful personnel. My car, which had been running fine, decided not to start when we went to leave. I tried several times. One of the workers came out and checked my alternator and the car started. She said the alternator was fine. The battery may be low. I really appreciated her assistance.

I was greeted when I walked in the door. I asked what aisle and then when I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, Curtis, the manager, was very helpful in getting them brought up from the back. Always great service!

I used to go to Advanced Auto on 76th & Metcalf when I lived in Kansas. They had a Parts Department girl named Petra that really knew parts. Matched me up some brake pads for an old Back to the Future Delorean. She doesn't work there anymore. So now I live in Mo and I go O'Reilly's because if they don't have it at the store you go to, they can get it from another store for you usually the same day if it's not too late. They've also got a warehouse that they can get a rare part from you may need. They got Repair manuals, gloves, lights, 3 ton jacks, washer fluid, almost anything you can think of for your car is at O'Reilly's and it smells good in the store because of the air fresheners you can buy too! Are you wishing you had a special tool to get the job done? Ask about the rentals, you'd be surprised by the fancy tools they carry that have been designed by mechanics, and tooling engineers of course, just like you for specific hard to tackle jobs. better safe than busted knuckles, Ouch! I'm telling ya!

Very good job helping me out. Associate came out in the rain to help me replace a bulb and then came back with a star branch that I did not have and we got it done. So great job overall. Everybody should get raises.

Parts were paid for online (in stock) for a store pickup, got to the store 3 hours later only to find out the parts weren't pulled and ready. They went to pull the order only to find out they were out of stock. Tried to get the parts from another store but there was no manager around to cancel the order so I could go to another store and pick them up....very unhelpful. Had to wait till the next day to pick up. Very unresponsive and slightly rude staff in the evening. Acted like I was an inconvenience for being there....won't go back to this location, ever.

Never seem to have the parts I need, but they updated me for free. The people that work there are great, always go out of there way to take care of my needs. Sad that they can't keep help.

Both of the employees were professional, kind, and honest on the phone and in person. Jim was willing to listen to my battery problem and step out to look and see if he could safely do an installation before I bought one.I did end up buying a battery from Jim today. He installed it efficiently and quickly. I am very happy and will be coming back here in the future.

The older gentleman at the counter was more than excited to tell me they weren't accepting anything but cash as the employees were all just having a nice hangout in an empty store. They were swearing very loudly with my little kids there and were very short when I asked a question. This is a poorly managed store which is unfortunate considering it's the closest to my house.

This is the worst auto parts store I've ever encountered. My car broke down here and I spent a good amount of money buying items from their store for my vehicle. I had to leave my car In. The parking lot overnight. IN the morning when theY opened I SPOKE IN PERSON with an employee who assured me the car would be fine there until I could pick it up after work that night. I came back and my car was gone. They towed it anyway it cost me 400$ to get out. Not okay. I do not recommend this location at all.

The 2 young customer service men were very efficient at getting mt old school tire gauges I wanted and epoxy I tried ro keep my dashboard phone mount secured. Very fast and knowledgeable and efficient and pleasant.

We were 5 hours from home when someone stole the catalytic converter off of our truck overnight. Garrett was so helpful and made this bad situation so much better. He let us fix the truck in the parking lot and helped with anything he could. He knew exactly what we needed and had it ready for us when we arrived. I honestly cant thank him enough!!!

Severely severely disappointed and angry. We made 2 separate calls to the store to confirm on a price quote after already going to the store several times today to get parts. We live a good 25 minutes away from the store and let the associate answering the phone know this and that we wanted to be 100% sure of the quotes given. When we arrived at the store the price was a $85 price difference. When we explained the situation to another associate we were given the excuse that the girl answering the phone was new. I remember even making the comment to my husband when he called and it was the girl who answered "maybe ask for someone else, that girl didn't even know how to answer the phone when we were in there earlier" but Chloe reassured my husband the price was correct not only the first time he called, but the second time as well. When in the store talking to what I assumed was the manager on duty he offered no solution and nothing to rectify the problem and just said "I can't help you, I'll get fired man". Out the door we went never to return to O'Reilly again. We called advanced auto parts, got a price match as well as a discount offered to us after they heard our situation with O'Reilly. I truly hope that O'Reilly will better train their staff before allowing them to answer calls and give price quotes, otherwise I do believe that they will continue having this problem.

4 Stars although had to return twice for brake pads wrong ones and had to return cv axle wrong one all in a two week period was not happy about That! So they got to know me first hand' but considering they all are a bunch of nice guys I bit my lip and all was well ! But I will being seeing them again tomorrow for yet another return on cv axle that failed once I installed it GM said there axles are junk. It's under warranty so will try again.

I waited for 30 minutes because the mechanic said he would come out and scan my car after he helped the customers behind me and even after the parking lot was empty and I was waiting on him he never came so I left and took my money elsewhere

I purchased a quart of 5W 30 Full Synthetic Oil. The worker at the register was super friendly and cool. This location is the best I've been to.

Had a little emergency. Blew a belt in freezing temps. Gentleman let me fix my car right there offered the use of any tools I needed and allowed my 5 year old son to hang out in the store so he wasn't out in the cold. Thank you very much.

I had a battery situation and the employee named Karla did everything in her power to get us back on the road! We would have been stranded if it wasn't for her. Thank you Karla! Expect a Christmas gift! My kids and I are grateful!
