If you re going to read any reviews, please read this one! Me, my family and friends have always gone here for all of our inspections. Mainly because it s quick, easy and cheap. He s very straight to the point and gets the job done. Now my first experiences of him are always a bit awkward and he can sometimes come off a bit rude. I usually try to just ignore it and get in and out. I truly believe he just struggles with social queues. So why am I giving him 5 stars? Well I went there today to get an inspection. I was the only one there. I tell him I need an inspection and he bluntly just says keys and takes my keys and goes to do my inspection. I always just brush it off and don t read into it too much. I know it s not personal. As I m waiting, I m reading all the signs and I see 2 handwritten signs. One saying don t judge others before they have time to criticize you and treat others how you want to be treated . I also saw signs that said things such as support small business , tips are appreciated and I do more than inspections . Then after my inspection was done I paid and tipped him (just let him keep change from $15. Inspection is literally only $12) and he walked me over to my car on the ramp and began having an actual conversation with me. That s never happened before. So I strived to be extra nice and engage in the conversation as much as he was. He was talking about my Minnesota license plate and mentioned the big mall in Minnesota and we had a nice quick conversation and he actually smiled at me. As I was pulling out I told him to have a good day and he didn t say anything back but like I said before I truly think he just struggles with social situations. My theory can be completely wrong but no matter the reason this guy acts the way he does, I know he is never personally mean to me and he always does honest work. I guess I m just here to say to give this man the benefit of the doubt, support his business and just don t take his personality personally. He is a human. Whether it seems like it or not, he has feelings and that shows by his handwritten signs about how to treat people.

So many people complaining on here lol. If you want an inspection done in 15 mins, this is your guy. If you want the best customer service, this isn t your guy. Plain and simple. Has never done me wrong. I go here for all of our vehicles. Quick easy in and out.Also does repairs, at a very affordable price. Breaks, oil change, etc

Quick and efficient for inspections. Dont expect a sweet and thoughtful person, the goal is simple: Make some money doing inspection as efficiently as possible...is you are looking for anything more, go somewhere else.

There really needs to be a ZERO star available! I drove here today to see about making an appointment for a vehicle inspection. A guy walked out and said what...I said I need a vehicle inspection done, please. He said give me your keys (in a very gruff tone). I said oh, you can do it today and followed up with well let me run to the bank because as I was walking in I read the signing the door that said NO credit or debit cards...CASH ONLY. Well, he rolled his eyes as he WALKED off! This guy is very unprofessional and I will NEVER patrononize this establishment! So mich for trying to support small, local businesses!! WOW

We have been getting all of our vehicles inspected here since 2013. Never had any of the issues others have incurred. He is very much a quiet person; has never been mean, disrespectful or anything towards myself or my husband. He has failed some of our vehicles, for valid reasons and once when we pointed out the horn was replaced with a horn button, he corrected and verified it sounded. I do not like backing my husband's truck up out of the garage, too big can't see. He did not look happy with my request that he back it out for me, but he did and that was just this past November 2020.

Wish i could give zero stars. It was a few years ago went for an inspection. Finished up and he was telling me to back out. "Can you move the road cone you put behind me?" Completely ignored me. Gf moved it. After signing i was handing him back his pen, he flicked his wrist for no reason stabbing my palm. Horrible person.

I have used Fairview Services for 20 years. I get fast proper inspections. It is always tough finding other inspectors when he is off/closed.

Took my 03 suburban up there for an inspection and he didn't pass it because of the ABS light was on! Ummm. Hello ABS light will not make it fail.
