I needed a wheel repaired, and I was able to drop off the wheel (with tire on it) in the afternoon and pick it up the next morning. That part was great. This is a unique service that most mechanical shops cannot provide.Critiques/be aware: expect that you will need to change your own tire (e.g take off the damaged wheel and put the spare on and vice versa). if you drop off after a certain time, you will have to change the tire yourself. At other times you can pay a fee (over $30) to have this done.Overall I was satisfied with the work on my wheel, but I noticed the tire was over inflated (58 PSI) after the work was done, and I had to bleed off the extra air. So check your tire pressures afterwards!

Fabulous experience!!! I accidentally hit a curb, and got curb rash on one of my alloy rims. Cassie was wonderful at letting me know the price of repair, and hours of operation upfront.I wish I had before and after pics. After they fixed the curb rash, you couldn't tell the difference from that one rim compared to the others. I was impressed by their work! It was beautiful!! They are artists via rim or wheel repair. Highly recommend!!

Dropped my wheel off at 330 on a Thursday. They had it completed by 11 am on friday. It had a little bit of rash from hitting a curb. A new wheel was $1800 dollars and they fixed it for $200 and it looked brand new. Very happy with the result and would highly recommend.

Great job! Fast service! Couldn t tell where the rim was damaged. 100% recommend this business. The repair was 1/3 the price of a new wheel which the tire dealer told me I needed and he couldn t find a used one. Will know better next time.

Got me in for a last minute appointment and out within 24 hours to fix my rim. I informed them of a nail in my tire, which was leaking. Discount Tire wouldn t remove the nail until my rim was fixed. When I arrived to pick up my car it was missing its tire valve cap. They provided me with a replacement but my tire had 4 psi. It was really unsafe they let me leave with a flat tire. For a $200 service that is unprofessional.

This place is awesome. Due to Kansas City potholes, I ended up with a dented rim that wouldn't allow the tire to hold air. I brought it to Alloy Wheel Repair to have it repaired. They were upfront about pricing, which was reasonable compared to purchasing a new rim and informed me it would be 24 hours turn around time. The next morning, I recieved a text advising the rim was repaired. Took less than 24 hours and I am extremely pleased!!!

Bought a vehicle from a dealer a couple years ago that had the wheels powdered coated, and the wheels came with a warranty. The issue we keep having is the center caps keep flaking and peeling. We have taken the center caps back twice now for a respray and they look horrible and charge us 60 dollars each time.. This place doesn't prep or sand smooth ,they just respray the center cap leaving behind the outlines of the old peel and flaked areas. Not impressed and unprofessional work. It's not hard to sand the defects out and have a smooth uniform appearance.

They fixed my curb-rashed wheels and made them look brand new. Quick, friendly service and reasonable prices. That also repaired a dented rim for me last winter and it looks like new. This is the place that everyone recommends and for good reason.

I had a good experience ant Alloy Wheel. The repair was good, but I feel like it could have been a little better. It seemed like they repaired the rim with the tire still on. I feel like if I would have just took the rim up there the repair on the rim would have been better.

Brought wheel for repair of bend caused by pot hole. They fixed it quickly as I brought it in on a Friday and they reached out Monday morning that it was ready for pick up. So overall very satisfied. The only thing that would have made the experience even better would have been if they would have asked about repairing or estimating repair of the curb rash on the wheel as well.

Our son had a little mishap that damaged a rim. They worked us in quickly and turned around the repair quickly. My only concern was that they almost threw out the tire itself, which we had already had checked and confirmed there was no damage to the actual tire. Luckily we caught it, so did not have to buy a new one.

Had work done by them three weeks ago had a crack in my passenger wheel which was causing a slow leak. They had my wheel for a full day just to not properly fix it cause when I got it back and put it on and aired it up not two hours later the tire was flat again. The tire was not the problem because I took it to a tire shop prior to bringing it alloy wheels and they told me my tire was in good condition and the cracks were causing the slow leak which they referred me to alloy wheels. I took it to robo wheels after who actually fixed it properly with almost half the cost and it only took them 30 mins. The same day I had robo wheels inspect all my wheels for cracks which I had two in my driver side wheel and they fixed it in about 40 mins since then I have had no issues.

I brought in a used set of wheels that had corrosion around the center hub, around the lip and some minor scuffs all over on them all. they were able to clean them up, fix the scuffs, and refinish them all for what I would consider to be a pretty good price. very happy with how they turned out and the next time I need a wheel looked at they will be my first stop.

We purchased a used car with Konig wheels about a year ago. During the pre-purchase inspection & run down my mechanic noticed a bend in the front passenger wheel. It wasn't too big of a deal so I didn't worry about it (as the tire & wheel balanced just fine). This past month the TPMS sensors went off so I took it in, thinking it had a nail and would need a plug. The tech pulled the wheel off and unfortunately there was a small crack causing the tire to not seal 100% correctly.I went into panic mode as this model of wheel is no longer available. With the way the economy is I didn't want to replace a full set of wheels. I remembered a recommendation from our mechanic on wheel repair (he was the person who first noticed the bend) and looked up Alloy Wheel Repair. The shop at Alloy wheel repair was able to assist that week & only had the wheel for about 36 hours. After taking the wheel to the shop I was updated via text with numerous updates. Communication was great and so was the price -- $165!If you need repair done on your wheels give them a call ASAP! They'll save you money!

I had to get my wheels re-coated due to a dealership damaging the face of one while using the balancer. The dealership uses AWRS as their go-to for wheel repair.Initially, the dealers service staff said that they could probably color match the wheel. Well, they could not color match and they tried buff out the scratches which didn't work. I was unhappy to hear that the dealership had to call to get and update when AWRS knew the couldn't fix the scratches by buffing or color match from day one. It took 3 days for them to finally say They couldn't color match. The dealership was willing to buy me a new wheel but I then decided to get the wheel set re-coated, after getting news that a new wheel would take months to get to me from Japan. The dealership sent them out on a Wednesday (6Aug) and a receive a call they were ready, the following Monday. I thought this was a fair turn-around.Once I actually got the wheels home to clean and really look at them I can see numerous areas of expose metal and light spots. I feel that this should not be the case since I bought 5lbs of powder for the set (recommended amount by them). Its clear that these AWRS does not have or chose not to use a wheel paint stand on my wheel set. Somehow they manage to miss spots on the presentation face of the wheel (between the spokes, where the spoke meets the lip, stud holes and hub), yet the powder coat was sprayed heavy on it. Its apparent the whoever sprayed these opt'd to not spray the hard to reach areas first. You can tell that once they were in the cure cycle the paint wanted to run. Paint is light on the inside and inside lip of the wheels. All the wheel have a bare spots where the center cap goes. Its obvious that they hung it from there. I guess they assumed that I had center caps that would cover it. The inner face that meets the car hub are basically bare, which is fine, as most wheels aren't coated here. There are bubbles/fish-eye in the paint around the lip of one wheel. Could be from oil/water contamination. Finally, there is debris (possibly media) on some spots. The wheels all had a fair amount of what appears to be media dust on them when I picked them up. Which is why I didn't not notice the discrepancies until I took them outside and cleaned them off.I paint aircraft parts wheels etc for a living for 15yrs now and its disappointing to see a poor job like this. And I know someone there saw the poor quality before they left their shop.I asked the dealership that took care of everything to reach out and hopefully they can honor fixing the poor quality of the coating.Based off my experience I cannot recommend the company for wheel coatings. I may adjust my review if they decided to re-coat my wheelsEDIT: 11 Aug 2020The dealership got in touch with AWRS. They forwarded the defect photos so theu could see exactly what the issues are. Alicia. One of the reps asked for me to rezch out to her. She explained that everything would be taking care of by one of their leads and it would be done right. She offered apologies and understood my frustration. I dropped the wheels off to the dealership where AWRS will pick them up. Alicia stated that it would be a 24hr turn-around. I will update this post after I receive the wheels back.Based on their willingness to fix the wheels w/o hesitation I've changed my rating. I may adjust again following the work.Edit: 17 Aug 2020So I got my wheels back from them today. They took. A bit longer than originally estimated, but I ratjer it take some time and not be rushed. They are now flawless. Whomever sprayed them this time definitely took their time with them. The color is what I wanted as well. Alicia, one of the reps made sure to keep in contact me throughout the process. 100% pleased now.At the end day I will rate this place 4 stars. I think that the first time it was sprayed they weren't looked at by a supervisor type. Some sort of super review might need to be done before wheels go out the door
