Got my truck inspected there. They told me both lower ball joints were bad and both tie rod ends were had excessive play even though I had receipts showing them that 6 months ago that work had been done. They failed me for the inspection for the ball joints and a bad headlight and wipers. I took it down the road to get it inspected again because I didn't believe them. I got the inspection done down the street and the only thing that failed was a rear brake light. Which they didn't even tell me it was bad at wexner's. So not only were the ball joints good and the headlight was not out they didn't tell me that I had a brake light that was out. What a terrible experience

This place is absolutely wonderful from start to end. Steve had me towed and in the shop within 16 hours of calling. He kept my mind at ease, and made everything as simple as possible. There was never a doubt in my mind we went to the wrong place. Fantastic people and awesome customer service.

Hello all! I have had a couple issues with my clutch in my 09 Honda Accord. I was suppose to have my car taken to a private mechanic to have it fixed for around $1000. When AAA showed up to take my vehicle, the driver recommended Miexner's. He said for what I was having done, Miexner's would do it for a lot less and I wouldn't have to have my car towed an extra 50 miles away. So I went with his suggestion. Now I am not knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles so I can't get into detail about the parts and all that so I can just tell you it ended up being something to do with my clutch. I also asked for an oil change and yo have my battery checked because I couldn't get the car start. I was told that it would be a couple days before it would be ready which I expected. I was quoted about $1000. So I get the call that the car is ready. I'm prepared to pay $1000. I arrive and they tell me it's going to be almost $1300. Of course I am floored. I had to save for $1000 so you could imagine my surprise. After the tech spoke with someone he comes back and tells me that they had to do a tune up because the car wouldn't start. Well I already knew that the car wouldn't start. I had asked them to check the battery assuming that's what it was. Again I'm not a mechanic so I just guess. I'm also wondering why I didn't receive a phone call BEFORE the tune up was done. I was angry at first but after I thought about it, if they would have told me it needed a tune up I would have obviously approved it because I wouldn't be able to drive my car otherwise. I am wondering though if I needed the new battery that was put in since it turned out to be bad spark plugs and wires. When I would turn the key all the lights would come on and it would want to start but it just made that noise when it's trying to start but can't. So I paid for a battery I didn't need which is more money I didn't have to waste. So I picked up my car and got to drive it for maybe a week before the clutch went out. I had it towed back to Miexners and after them checking and confirming the clutch (clutch kit) was bad, I was quoted 2400. Of course I went ahead and had the work done. They had it ready in 3 (business) days. That was amazing to me. I hate being without my vehicle. I'm grateful to Miexner's for taking good care of my car and staying profession through it all. I would recommend them to anyone and I've told my family and friends that they should take their vehicles there for all services. I am overall satisfied with the work and trust them to do all repairs in thefuture. I will be getting all services done here. Thank you Miexner's for all you have done for me and I look forward to do business with you in the future. It's hard to find honest people now a days so thank you for that as well.

Got me in for an emissions test immediately and quickly even on a busy day. Steve (if remembering correctly) was very kind and helpful with getting me in and taken care of. Clean and nice establishment, will be using them for the future! Thank you :)

Went in for an emissions test. They were able to get me in within a few days. The service was quick and the office staff were great. One of them even put a tv show on specifically for my son while we were waiting. Seems like a nice family business. I had my SUV towed to Meixner because i was having starting issues. I replaced a $167.00 battery earlier that morning because starter was working again with new battery after some driving it wouldn t start again so i had it towed to Meixner and told them i think it needs a starter. They then charged me $69.95 to tell me it needs a starter and then just for an oil change and starter replacement they charged me $665.00. I will never go back here again, price was a joke. Starter replacement is less then an hour job at the most two for someone that doesn t know what they are doing without a lift on my garage floor so with a lift even easier but they charged me $281.00 just for labor at $131.00 an hour. So you are telling me it took you over two hours to replace a starter?, cmon man!!!!! Even told them I was a disabled combat vet and they took full advantage of me. I could have done this job myself for under $150.00. Ask them before hand what it will cost! Took our vehicle to Meixner for a second opinion after being told by someone else that our vehicle needed a whole engine replacement. They were able to repair without replacing, which we were so thankful for. I have had Meixner Tire And Auto take care of all my car's auto needs. They are a family business and try to make sure that your vehicle is safe and that it is done right the first time. They also have reasonable prices. These guys are great. Got my vehicle back a day earlier than expected. The performed a diagnosis and gave me a call with what was required to be fixed. I got great service and a great price. Meixner Auto really bailed me out when my car had front end damage on my way up to Wisconain. They had my radiator swapped so I can at least get back on the road that same day. From the front desk to the techs all great people all around.

The best auto shop in the area! My family has been coming here for 10-15 years, and they ve always taken excellent care of us. They are very honest and we ve never experienced any push to receive services that aren t actually needed. 1000/10 recommend.

Been going here for 10+ years. They do good work but lately look for anything to charge more. Took my car in for a stuck rear caliper. They initially told me I needed all new rotors, brakes, front axel AND tires because my caliper seized up and roasted my brakes components. But once I told them I would do the rotors and brakes myself they changed their opinion and said the caliper hadn't siezed and damaged the rotors. Then they hit me with a diagnostic fee eventhough I brought it in for a stuck caliber and had them replace it. When I brought it to Jaimes attention he justified it by saying "Well everyone charges a diagnostic fee" eventhough I paid for the repair that I asked for them to perform when I dropped it off. Would they charge diagnostic fee if I brought it in for new brakes?I've spent thousands over the years here..but the diagnostic fee fiasco will be the last money I spend there.Work was completed but they look for ways to increase charges. They stay busy so they don't care about running off customers with all the "extra" fees that they charge because, as Jaime put it, everyone else charges them. They will charge diagnostic fees for everything even worked performed and work you ask them to complete. Good shop if you have tons of money.Unfortunately I am gonna find another shop because I don't trust "all" their recommendations and practices lately.

I had been a wee bit behind on renewing my plates and got the recommendation from the nice cop to give these folks a call to have my emissions done. Called them and spoke to Steve who said he'd do his best to squeeze me in if I got there right away. I ran over there and was expecting to wait a little while but was very pleased to have only waited maybe 15-20minutes, possibly not even that long. Steve was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ill definitely be doing service with them again and recommending them to others.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My overall experience with this shop is anti-headache and transparent.I had to take my European car in for a check engine light and the turn time was excellent. They called me each step of the way, from when they gave me the diagnosis of the car, what it would cost, and when it was finished. They told me the exact final price and why it was priced as such. The final number was even a bit lower.This place is even a 35 minute drive for me, but it is very worth it to have a reliable team, the quality of the service, and transparency.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Steve at Meixners is amazing! He has helped us with our car for the last couple of months. He s great at explaining everything to us and giving us his opinion on what he would do. We would of spent a lot more money then what we needed to on this car. Such a great place to take your car to for maintenance and problems. They did a great job on my truck. Steve found the tires I was looking for at a price far cheaper than I could find anywhere. They took the time to do a True balance on my oversized tires and brought it back into alignment. The truck rides like brand new. I highly recommend them. I have the oil change, tire rotation and this time a light bulb replacement on a regular basis. They are always courteous, prompt and doing it right the first time. I have never experienced automotive care like Meixner Tire and Auto. Not only are they affordable and efficient with their services, but they are trustworthy and extremely helpful. Time and time again they have gone out of their way to help my wife and I with our automotive needs. I send anyone I can there because I know they will not be disappointed.
