Terry' is absolutely awesome. Friendly staff efficient, took my car right on my appointment time. They fitted me in on short notice. I've went there in the early mornings needing air in one of my tires, the guys there , always jump right in and put air in my low tire, and check the rest of my tires. Service there is outstanding.

Took my focus here a couple months back. It was leaking power steering fluid bad. They were about to close but I explained to them that it s almost not safe to drive. The kind women in the office came out got on her hands and knees and helped me locate the leak right in the parking lot pulled out a jack and all. The most unbelievable customer service I ve ever had didnt charge me a dime and refused my tip. As of today I had a blown tire and they got it in right away no later than I showed up ordered the new tire and getting it all sorted out!!! Some of the kindest people I ve ever dealt with!

We dropped my husband's truck off Monday and they had it done within 24 hours, employees and owners are very nice and the price was amazing. We will definitely be back for any work we need done to.our vehicles

Been using this shop for around 20 years from when they was in desoto then moved to 2 different spots in Hillsboro, always been treated with respect and my vehicle being taken care of from oil change, to having to get legal , or when broke down and needed repairs. Love Terry and glad it stayed in family when he retired.

Simple oil change.They forgot to put oil in my engine,I broke down on 141 ,two weeks later.Now my engine smells,they may have ruined my car's engine.

Got charged $45 for them to tell me what I already knew, On top of the work I requested. I m happy with the job they did but I feel like they stole $45 from me in this diagnostic fee.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

The people are super friendly, the work was disappointing. They mounted some tires and rebalanced them. And replaced a brake line and a brake light switch. Tried to diagnose a CEL and couldn t really give me the diagnosis. Got the car back and it felt like it was shaking worse than when I brought it in and the brakes felt extremely soft as if they didn t even try to bleed them much. If I didn t have to travel out of state, i would have done everything myself. Customer service wise though, everyone was super nice. Personally for me though, will be taking my car to other places or working on it myself.Service: Brakes

I have not had good luck with mechanics/shops in my life. Previously,I would take my car to the mechanic and get it back with something else wrong with it,but have brought my car here three times now, and have left happy each time. I will continue to go here, until I'm given a reason not to. Hopefully I've found my "forever" shop here at Terry's

My AC quit blowing cold. Took it there & they said my compressor works but doesn't work,,?? Not sure what that meant at the time. It ended up meaning they had no clue. They put a new compressor in & still the AC is not blowing cold. Tried charging me over $1000.00 saying the compressor was $750.00!! NO WAY..everyone I have found has been under $350.00??? There response, there exact words, " we try to do what we can. We are not a dealership" what does that even mean?? They've had my vehicle for 3days now...as we speak they are putting my old compressor back in my car because I refuse to pay for the new one!So I figured I would update my review. Took my car to the dealership & guess what? I had a broke wire, a $50.00 connector & my AC is cold as ice. The compressor Terry's said was bad is perfect....go figure. Unbelievable this shops even in business. My advice, DONT GO THERE!!!Service: Auto A/C replacement

Joe and Dale were my angels!!! I came in so upset because some other shop messed up and my car was making horrible sounds. They fixed me right up on the spot. I am so grateful and will be back in the future! Thank you guys!!

Terry's was recommended by three other shops. I Used Hillbilly garage for my suspension and Inspection services, The muffler shop in Downtown DeSoto and Plaza Tire De Soto. Terry and Henry worked on an issue with the engine of my truck. They were able to make the repairs and kept the cost lower than I expected. I've taken tires that have been punctured and dropped them off and by COB they have been repaired and awaiting for pick up. If you are friendly and don't act foolish, Terry and Judy will go to the ends of the world to provide personal services you would expect from a local Mom -N- Pop business. Large volume customer is not their style, if you are in a rush, Terry or Judy will gladly refer you to the more faster paced business where they deal with higher volume.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I went to Terry s Auto Repair for a simple tire change over on my wheels. They told me to be there at 8:30 AM to drop it off. When I got there at 8:30 AM I was the only one there. I had to wait for the owner (Terry) to get there an open the shop. They did not get this simple task done until after 5:00 PM. In addition they did not do the work accurately and did not return all of my things. When I tired to talk about this issue to give them an opportunity to make things right. They wouldn t even listen to me. That s when I said they were going to lose my business. The owner Terry and his wife said they didn t need my business. I would not recommend anyone go to this shop at all. They are unprofessional, very unorganized, and have terrible customer service.Service: Tires

I took my car there last month for overheating and I thought it was fixed. I broke down a month later for same issue and had it towed back. I was given the run around after 3 days and still they hadn't looked at it. I was told by mechanic he had a tooth ache, felt crapy from the weather that day and then they were short handed that day too. I finally get a call and he wanted to take my car apart and charge me to find the problem that I thought was fixed the first time. I am not giving them anymore business. Its getting towed somewhere else by a shop not so lazy and unprofessional. Shame on you Terry's auto.

Hubbys truck had been to a different mechanic twice for the same issue and was still having problems, we took it here instead and they were able to properly resolve the issue at a much better price! It did take some time to get the truck back because they were short staffed and were very busy. Will be using them again!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

This small shop makes a big impression! Their goal is to get you back on the road!!! Reasonable pricing and great service! You can trust the people at Terry's to give you a reasonable price on your automotive repair. It's nice to live in a small town!

They where really really friendly very honest and very very reasonable prices on there work I couldn't be more satisfied with there service and they let me watch what they did and showed me everything they even talked to me while working on my car and made me fill very welcomed. I will definitely be going f there for more work when I need it on my car and recommend people to go there.

Took car in with engine light on they said it was a Cadillac converter. Terry said he could fix it and after spending over 400 dollars it was not fixed. The check engine light kept coming on and was told just to drive the car 500 miles and it would fix itself! Was told they just put a new senser in it and cleaned out the Cadillac converter. Drove the car more after taking it back three more times. Then was told it would have to have the Cadillac converter replaced and that they would install it at no cost. When going to the appointment was then told they would charge for the labor again! After asking for the keys back Terry came out wanting to know if I wanted to fight I told him no I just want my car fixed. This is not a good place to take your vehicle so beware of this placeService: Exhaust
