Came in for service and the lady behind the counter was the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in a service related industry. I do not recommend this place to anyone that is expecting to be treated politely. The guy that took care of my car was great but she ruined it for everyone. To many other good reputable car repair places to take your car for service. There is also a cat in the waiting area so if you are allergic go elsewhere and cafe they advertise on google has been closed for years. I can't stress enough...go elsewhere.

I ve had to bring my car in for repairs a few times over the last few months and Shafer s has always done a terrific job. I ve had an alignment, tie rod, serpentine belt, and power steering pump replaced. Thanks for your level of expertise and service.

Dave and Deanna are the best. Always treat me right and I can count on their work 100 percent every time. I have some pretty unique cars that most shops don't see everyday and they go out of their way to accommodate me. I took my car in to have the brake pads replaced. I expected to find l needed more work than just pads. Instead l was told the pads were fine. Anyone else would have taken advantage and made the big money. Thank you so much.

This is a great place and has always treated me great. Recently I had performance brake parts I had bought I wanted to get on before a trip I was going on. I also didn't have a ride so asked if they could get me in early and I could pass some time at the near by library.He worked me in early and got them on. I got lucky and had a friend that needed to pick his vehicle up at a nearby dealership so he picked me up so I didn't have to walk to the library. But they put on parts that I brought (most all other places won't do that) and he made a point to get me in early. Great place and a fair price. Can't go wrong using this place

What a surprise----this is a fun little cafe.....in a auto service garage! They serve a wide variety of sandwiches and some unique ice cream creations. It was fun to look at all of the memorabilia. The chicken strips were huge & tasty!

Great car services, honest, quick repairs!!! Wish they did transmission work! Food smells great too, although I've not had the chance to eat there yet!

Food is always good here and always very friendly ppl I have always enjoyed coming here. they also have the best ice cream in town just all around great family owned place

There restaurant is awesome and the prices for the food you get is amazing. The service is polite and very friendly. I would definitely eat there anytime.

I eat lunch there at least 3 times a week and the service is outstanding. The home cooked meal is as good as if not better than my grandmothers....sorry grandma ;-)

My 98 Accord has made quite a few visits to Shafer's and I've never had a problem with their service. Pricing is routinely below what I would expect.

Just wow.. Local teens help run a little food spot right next to the garage. Great service at both spots, local support and a lot of town history.
