These guys were great! I was traveling thru and had a performance issue on my Xterra. They were accommodating and honest. I was in a pickle as I was on vacation. They diagnosed and made the repair within an hour!! I was so grateful for them to help a traveler out. I tipped the staff $50 to buy lunch because they helped me out on such short notice.

I have been to Great River many times and they are extremely professional and reliable. I would recommend them to anyone!

Service was fast which was nice but but fast isn t always best. They put a lug nut on but it wasn t on all the way and it tore up the lug bolt. Paid them $60 for a rotation and my mechanic $70 to help me discover the source of the sound from my wheel. Lady inside acted like $70 is just chump change now days. Said owner is sick and only one who can handle the situation. So until then they can stay a one star rating. They refunded my money to me but it was a debate and hassle still. I ll never go back.

I had a part fixed there that sadly broke. I had them fix the part again, and they did a great job. Everything works, and they even gave me a full tank of gas for free (the fuel tank had to be replaced). Just want to say thank you for all that, even the little things, and keep up the good job you're doing. I will definitely be back in the future.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

They charge me twice for the same job. I had something fixed and they had to replace the parts for a second time and they charged me labor again. To me that's just taking advantage of people. And it is not good business.

My girlfriend brought her car in to have an oil change and get an inspection done. They failed her inspection quoting things that are not on the inspection check list. Then stated she needed 2 new tires and needed 2 new front lower ball joints. Then proceeded to tell her that the inside of her front tires were "shredded" and that her ball joints were "destroyed" Then qouted her new ball joints that were 75.00 apiece from them for a 35 dollar part and 285.00 for labor to put them in for a one hour job.I full understand not everyone has the experience working on vehicles I do and business have to make money. But not 100% mark up and charging for labor they wont do because the vehicle doesnt need it.Quit trying to rip people off!!!

Wow! I was traveling alone with my three young children and my battery light came on just a few miles from Hannibal. I d been having alternator issues, so I knew that was the problem. I had no idea where to go and this shop was recommended by an employee at Autozone. I got there at 11:15am on a Saturday and they close at noon. The gentleman I talked to was very kind and understanding but was not able to stay late to fix it. He then asked the other mechanic if he could stay, and he said yes! They ordered the part and had me back on the road around 1:30pm. Amazing service and definitely went way above and beyond for me and my family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!They also recommended that I keep the old alternator and take it back to where I got it to try and get my money back. I did that, and was able to get a refund for it!

Great service! We had a low tire while traveling with our pop up trailer. I called ahead and they were going to work us into their schedule. Turned out we just needed our valve stem tightened. They let us use the part to tighten it and we were back on the road again.

We needed a new tire, cause one of our's popped while we were on the road. Unfortunately, this shop didn't have our tire size, which is understandable (it's a small shop). There was a Wal-Mart near by that had our tire size in stock. We didn't change our tire at Walmart cause they were gonna cost us a lot of money. So we went back to this little shop and got our tire changed.They did it quick, easy, and got us back on the road. No sweat. Thanks for taking us in on short notice.

Broke down around midnight in Hannibal, MO. Have a 2003 Ford van that decided to get rid of a spark plug. Called Great River Tire and Auto first thing in the morning and they got the van fixed before we were even done with breakfast. Couldn t have asked for a more helpful and professional shop. Thanks for getting us back on the road so quickly!!

Excellent shop, well managed and very knowledgeable. They can get parts no one else can and have a great price on fuel. Staff is very nice and efficient. I enjoy going here and trust them to keep all my vehicles at there peak. Be sure to explain to them how you use your vehicle and they will curtail there maintenence to what your vehicle needs.

They were to fix a rear calliper. They hid the damage to the new caliper they caused. Now it leaks break fluid.A desk staff made a out of order sign for the bathroom when it was not broke to avoid Saturday cleaning. The gas station next door did the same to stop next door traffic. This happened on two separate occasions...

Amazing service! We had a 25hr drive from Tennessee to Utah and 7 hours in we ran over a deer and the check engine came on. The owner saw us right away and fixed the problem in no time.

Fantastic! We broke down in Hannibal on Sunday afternoon. We got hotel rooms and I called at 9:00 Monday morning because a tow service recommended them. They got us in, fixed our mechanical issue, changed a tire and we were done by 10! In addition to being competent and fast, they we very friendly, communicated clearly, and it was surprisingly reasonably priced. I just can t give this place enough stars.Service: Tires

I was in town for the weekend to see family. There was a noise from my front passenger tire well. On a Saturday, I was able to come in right away. The mechanics had the car on the hoist and showed me all the things they found. Then it was my choice what to do. I appreciated the courtesy and quality of the communications and service I received. And made it home safely. I would not hesitate to bring my car in again and have these folks take good care of me! Thank you.

On our road trip from Northern Ontario Canada we had a tire issue just outside Missouri. With our car loaded to the gills (dog included) we stopped here for help. Not only did they fit us in, they allowed our road weary dog to wait inside and welcomed us with the kindest hospitality. They also had us back on the road in a jiffy all fixed up. Thank you so much for your kindness.

My van was towed there with �lectrical problems about 11:am. They called around noon to say there was a broken battery terminal and the alternator was not functioning. They gave me an estimate that was less than half of what it had cost me to have an alternator replaced in Florida 10 years earlier. They called me about 2 pm. The same day to tell me my van was done and ready to be picked up. Great job Great River Tire !

Great place. The staff behind the counter are well spoken knowledgeable and Very professional the mechanics are on top of their game and the manager should be the trainer for every shop in the country hes the best hands down very personable and does not try to rake you over the Kohl's.No one else can touch my vehicles

Have had work did on our Duramax three different times now and even tho, thank goodness, it's been nothing major, we have absolutely nothing negative to report. Quick turn around, and so far good work.

Big thanks & much gratitude to Brett at Great River Tire. The wife, dog, & myself were 4 hrs into a 5.5 hr. road trip to see our granddaughter in Springfield, IL.. We stopped for gas @ the Shell station & when we got back on the road we heard a metal on metal scraping/squeeling sound, not good. As we entered Hannibal we pulled into a parking lot & called a local parts store who referred us to GRT. They were close by & we pulled in about 10 mins. before they closed. Brett & I went for a quick drive & he diagnosed a bad wheel bearing. Brett ordered the part & made the repair despite the shop closing in just a few minutes. It was a Saturday & I'm sure he had things to do. He took his time & made sure we were taken care of. What great people. Every community needs people/mechanics/businesses like the ones @ GRT. Thanks Brett.

Really you cant take 5 minutes for a repeat customer to do a 5 minute inspection on my bike? One lady sweeping another guy walking around. Will never be back and neither will my friends and family. The lady behind the counter could use a class in courtesy!

I had a part disconnected from my wheel area that was dragging on the ground, this business got me in almost immediately and had it repaired in almost no time. I would definitely go here for any other issues going forward.
