Very clean, knowledgeable and professional establishment. Steve, the manager, was great, explained everything clearly and upfront. Had to order a brand new transmission and arrived way before estimated delivery date. Removed old, installed new, checked our transfer case, new fluids and seal. Will recommend to all friends and back for work on other vehicles. You know it s a quality and trustworthy place when they work on first responders equipment for the city of Grandview. 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport

Well, I took my F150 to get the transmission changed out because something kept slamming in the rear of my truck whenever I had to accelerate like getting on the highway and the manager there his name is Stephen. He and one of his guys test drove the truck and gave it a once over and told me, yeah, I needed to change the transmission. The main seal was leaking transfer case needed oil change so I decided to have certified change out my transmission. When they were done, I went back to get my truck and my truck was still doing the slamming in the rear end, but not as bad and it wasn t happening as frequent and I was going to get my rear end on the truck rebuilt as well. Anyway, I took the truck started slamming again so I immediately turned around and went back to the shop. Told Steven what was happening and he told me all the electronics in the transmission. Have to learn how you drive it s OK go ahead and drive it and I was skeptical about that, but I had to drive the truck to run errands and my doctor appointments a week later I get into this rear end shop so that they can change out the internal parts of the rear end they get done and I have the truck back in one day that I m told I have to take it easy driving a truck for 500 miles because of the new gears the new parts in the rear end now I m still getting the slamming in the transmission so I go back to certified transmission and tell Stephen this and he doesn t believe me, so I ll leave the truck with him for a day and he tells me oh ! It s your U joints. I don t know how we missed it so we will change out your U joints for free if you will pay for the U joints, well that upset me at first because he said that I was wrong. It s not the transmission it s the brain of the truck, well it s still doing it and he only changed when you joined out and it was kind of close to closing time and he gave me some kind of excuse that they were very hard to takeoff and the one that we left unlocked all right so we saved you some money by not changing the other one out. I have a couple of doctors appointments next week so soon as I get done with my appointments, I m taking the truck back and we will go round and around again like you have for three times. I ve been there and they still have not resolved my problem with the truck, of course the dump truck doesn t bang when he s with me this week. It s Janet almost every day so I have to leave the truck with them again for the fourth time.

After I had my car towed to a dealership, only to find out that I needed a new transmission, we called Certified Transmission. We were quoted a much more affordable price by Steve...he even made the arrangements to have my car towed from the dealership to his shop. He helped make a stressful situation a little less stressful and had me back on the road in a week. He also kept us informed throughout the process.

Well I can say that if anyone should need a transmission I recommend going to see Steve at certified they give you a time frame it will be done and it was done exactly when they said they also offer warranty to go with your new transmission

Not sure what to think about this place. I took my car in to have my transmission fluid checked. They recommend a diagnostic for 80 dollars. They had my car for maybe 30 minutes and just said I needed a new transmission- didn't really explain why. Not sure if they even checked my transmission fluid or not, which was the reason I brought it in. I left with no real answers and out $80. Regret coming here!

I was very happy w the service for purchase and installation of my new transmission. Steve and Zach kept me up to date on the process and my vehicle was ready when promised. Very courteous staff. Definitely recommend the Grandview location. Manager Steve is very friendly, helpful and thorough. They diagnosed that i needed a new transmission. Certified Transmission took care of my vehicle in a timely manner. They had excellent customer service and kept me informed on the process of installing a new transmission and the expectancy of completion. Upon retrieving my vehicle Mr. Steve was very detailed with explaining what to expect and answered all my questions with clarity. Steve was honest and straight forward and only fixed what was broken which turned out to be two mounts, not replacing the transmission which is what the dealer claimed.

My transmission was put in my car in June of 2022 by a different transmission shop in lees summit. By August of 2023 it broke again, thank god I had a warranty on it. I tried to take my car back to the other shop to have it fixed and they let my car sit in their parking lot for 2 weeks without even touching it. I got super irritated and took it to the certified transmission in grandview. Steve was super nice and worked with the warranty company to get my transmission fixed for free. They started working on the repair immediately. He helped me save over $6000. It took about 2 weeks I think, but that s ok bc they had to order parts and contact the warranty company and all that jazz, so considering all that, it was pretty fast. I would highly recommend them, Steve is super nice and seems super trustworthy. A lot of places seem scummy and scammy but I didn t get that vibe from this shop at all. Seemed like good honest people. 10/10

This place is trustworthy. They were timely, patient, respectful, honest and affordable. Highly recommended! I could make an appointment fast, they thoroughly checked my car and then recommended not to service it. I appreciate very much how they put first what s best for the vehicle rather than making a sale.

I am new to Lee's Summit, MO and was looking for an honest business to take my truck to. Steve and his team at Certified Transmission in Grandview, MO did an excellent job diagnosing and replacing my encoder motor on my Chevy Avalanche. Although outside of their wheelhouse, they were also able to spot and bring to my attention that I was missing an engine motor mount. Not knowing this could have have caused serious future damage and costly repairs to my truck. Because of their attention to detail, I will be able to get the issue addressed. Not only was getting a fast appointment easy, the entire experience was easy. We took our Ford in after some issues occurred at another shop in town. I was expecting a long list of things that needed fixed but to my surprise that didn't happen. The man that assisted us was/is awesome. He answered my questions and made us a forever customer. Service was quick. They provided diagnostics, test drives, and took care of my car in a jiffy. My car had a shudder issue at low speed for a couple of months. They put my worries to rest. By the time they finished, the car was running great and still does. And kudos, I just received in the mail a thank you note for letting them service my vehicle. I'd recommend them.

Jake was extremely honest, efficient and detailed in his diagnosis. He told me I got some more life in my clutch rather than pressure me to spend money now. I was very distraught over my car when I walked in, but they got my clutch assembly and flywheel done in 48 hours, from diagnosis to complete repair, I walked out happy as a lark! Everyone was fantastic, there , from the front desk guy, the mechanic who explained everything, and the appointment setter, who kept me updated, and went over everything when I picked up my car. Let me just say the level of professional here is superb. I was seen for a check engine light in my car and these guys worked to get me seen asap. They were timely, professional, and just down right awesome. It's hard to find shops, or just people that won't jerk you around anymore.
