Their indoor pool didn't have any water in it. Their breakfast food was cold and it was a long time before they refilled the food pans. The scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy were good, but cold. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.Nearby activities: We went to attend a funeral, so we're pleased with the hotel for what we needed it for, but would have liked to be able to check in before 2 pm as the visitation was from 11-1 and the funeral was at 1 pm. We couldn't check in until after the funeral, so had to use a friend's room to be change from the clothes we traveled in.

Nice, comfortable, clean room.Arrived later in the afternoon. Upon check-in, I was informed that the room wasn't ready and was told there would be a wait. Staff were very apologetic and stated they were short staffed due to a holiday. There's a BBQ right next door, so we went to eat & when we came back, the room was ready.Everyone working at this location is very nice & helpful. The pool wasn't open. There is a gym facility (yay!)Continental breakfast was nice.Overall, it was a nice stay. I would recommed at stay at the Baymont!Rooms: Clean & comfortableNearby activities: BBQ resturant & gas station within walking distanceSafety: 24 hour front deskFood & drinks: Walking distanceNoteworthy details: Nice staff

This is a solid 3.5 star hotel. There was nothing egregiously wrong with it for our stay. Clearly some of the rooms are undergoing maintenance which I take as a good sign. The room was clean with no dust nor mold. The shower was super hot and the water pressure superb. This place has better water pressure than my own home. The staff were friendly. There s a fitness center with about what you d expect, guest laundry amenities, and the pool was closed so no comment on that. The breakfast was really lacking so that knocks a star. This place was chosen mainly because it is in the middle of nowhere. All of the hotel reviews in St. Louis mentioned having multiple cars broken into, so this definitely seemed safer. One thing that is concerning is that another reviewer mentioned BEDBUGS and only 3 days ago! I would not have stayed here if I saw that. I am severely allergic to bedbugs so I m mentioning them again here for visibility. If this review is updated to 1 star, it s because bites developed.Rooms: Room was spacious as well as the bathroom. You could fit a twin sized bed in the bathroom. Rooms meet the minimum standard of clean. Blackout curtains were a nice addition.Safety: This hotel is a safer option than any city hotel. Many reviews of hotels in St. Louis mentioned cars being broken into.Walkability: There is a convenience store gas station just across the parking lot. This is the only thing around.

Not a good stay. The room was only marginally clean. Breakfast was very questionable. Pool under maintenance, business room closed, juice machine not working. Workout room has 3 pieces of equipment, one didn't work, and had furniture stored in it. Bathroom exhaust fan filthy. Front desk NEVER occupied, always had to ring a bell to get someone. Would not recommend. I'm not sure why Wyndham has their name on this property.

This place is dirty. The elevator is broken. The pool is closed. And to top it all off there are serious signs of bed bugs. Couldn't even be bothered to change the mattress covers.Rooms: Dirty

This is third time my wife and I stayed at Wyndham Baymont Fulton, MO. The first two times were good experiences. Since last previous stay, the conditions have deteriorated stunningly. I won t go into the plethora of issues, but they were not one-time oversights; I would say more results of neglect and deplorable general management. The parking lot and landscaping were dirty and obviously uncared for. The elevator, room hall carpeting, room upholstery dirty. Small amount of shower gel and shampoo was inadequate clearly left-over from previous occupants. The desk clerk was cheerful. We shan t be back.Noteworthy details: Noted above

This hotel will accept your reservation but then just give it away and leave you stranded in the middle of the night. And then charge you a no-show fee as you stand in their lobby while being told you no longer have a room for the night. The national customer support line will also tell you to pound sand because they are an independent hotel. They will also refuse to let you speak to a manager or owner and give you an attitude as if you are the problem.Absolutely terrible customer service and I will be canceling my Wyndham credit card and rewards account due to them showing their true colors here. They do not care about good customers.Noteworthy details: Middle of nowhere.

No wash rags in room. TV remote did not work. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Called the front desk 3 times with no answer. Took the remote to the front desk and was told this happens . They handed me a new battery for the remote. Took it back to the room and it still didn t work. No condiments for the coffee. Gave up trying to reach front desk. Do not stay here.

Sprinkler system leaking in lobby making it smell stagnant. Some rooms have no hot water and towel racks falling off the walls. Mold on the ceiling in the shower.Safety: Make sure you lock your vehicle and room dead bolt. Fighting in parking lot.

Overall good. The rooms have a microwave and mini fridge. Clean beds! Good breakfast selection. Coffee, tea and oatmeal 24/7! Welcome cookies are a great touch!-We got were supposed to be non-smoking, only one was, they attempted to cover the smell, but we sprayed also and toughed it out.-Thought there was a hot tub, but there isn't. +Pool is small, but nice!-They have laundry, but don't count on detergent being stocked, gas station was also out.+Service was great, friendly and helpful staff!+Located right off 54, next to a BBQ restaurant and gas station, pretty convenient!++They patched the road while we were there, so that was good, it needed it.

I think this will be the first time I rated a hotel one star. This hotel has so much potential. But with all great hotels it start with the staff. I noticed that whenever there are no guest at the counter the staff is on chill mode, basically out of sight. The hotel first appearance leaves a lot to be desired. Dead bugs at the entry door and on the floors throughout the hotel. The entry appears to not have been swept in a few days as well as the hallways in the hotel. The desk staff may need to pitch in since they have so much downtime, with keeping the entry and lobby clean and inviting. I understand that their are staffing issues globally. The gym and pool looked kept from a distance. My room and several of my peers said their rooms smelled like mildew. Pulling up the carpet will help cut down on the smell. The desk staff was very friendly but again a little bit of initiative goes a long way. Almost every time I walked past the desk it was deserted. Come out from the back and tidy up a bit, it is not that much paperwork going on because the hotel is basically empty.

I don t normally leave review, but I stay in hotels about 150 nights a year and this is on the bottom end. Checked in late last night and front desk clerk had no business card to give me, which I requested. Breakfast this morning was very marginal. There was one biscuit left, and it was stale. I got milk and it was curdled. (dated to expire in 2 days) Checked out and front desk clerk was wearing a Scream T-shirt, which said Call me . inappropriate & non-professional. I won t be back.Nearby activities: Nothing nearby. Closed restaurant and gas station nearby that had a closed food service at 8 PM.

1. We consistently could not get access to our room, even after getting new keys made several times.2. The top security flip-lock was broken off.3. The loud bathroom fan was stuck in the "on" position and ran 24/7 the entire 2 days of our stay.4. Our room was not cleaned after we left the premises the first day, even though we told the cleaning crew, who was right outside our door when we left for the day. When we got back that evening and complained about it, the man at the desk had an attitude about it, and said that sheets weren't routinely changed anyway, and rooms were only vacuumed if needed. He finally agreed to send someone up with clean towels if we put our wet towels outside the door. Then, a couple of hours later, he knocked on our door and insisted that we had left the "still dreaming" tag on our door when we left. That was not true--it was laying on a table in our room when we got back.5. the rest of the staff was friendly, but rarely at the desk--always had to ring the bell.6. And BTW, what motel doesn't change the sheets when the room is cleaned? Never heard of that!

Super comfortable beds, and that's the most important thing. Room size was nice. Check in lady was super nice. Newer construction so everything looks great so far.Rooms: Good size. Microwave and small fridge. Desk had extra outlets and USB ports. Only wish they would have USB next to the bed.Walkability: Nothing close by except a gas station.

Stayed 2 (two) nights for a golfing trip. The kids working there (I dealt with Tressa and Cole) were as nice as could be and gave us some great suggestions for restaurants in town. There were some minor issues with keys due to an outdated system, and my billing got screwed up but the manager (Amber) corrected it as soon as she could (it took a couple of days due to a bank holiday).Nearby activities: Great golf course (Tanglewood) very close by.

I don't think that I've ever rated a hotel one star but unfortunately this hotel get one star. The desk clerk appears to hide every time there is no one checking in, basically in the back on chill mode. The hotel needs some sprucing up at the entrance on a regular basis, the staff should come from hiding in the back and help keep the lobby and entry into the hotel presentable. I understand there is a staffing shortage but this is where a little initiative goes a long way.The staff was very friendly. I did not use the gym and the pool but from a distance it appeared to be well kept. My cohorts and I had a similar observation, and that was the room smell like mildew. I'm certain this is because of the air condition running continuously and carpet holds smell. They should pull up the carpet, that is one way to cut down on the odor. I am a little bit disappointed that this Baymont holds on to the Wyndham name but does not hold up to the standards. I have stayed at other Baymont and they were pretty descent.

Yeah so I ve stayed here a couple times, never had anything bad until this go round, dried old urine all over my toilet, pretty gross I d say, then I went to sit on the bathtub edge to take these pictures, the floor towel was still on the edge of bathtub unused , I sat on it and it s still wet wet.. I just got here an hour ago and I ve just been in bed so not I. Also for a heads up because its obviously hard finding good employees in this area (I m struggling to find them myself around here), but whoever is making the rooms is missing a bunch, left a dirty rag in between the 2 beds and no trash bag in the trash can by desk to throw away my trash in

This hotel redefines hidden treasure. If you are looking for random weird things and trash everywhere, this is the spot! The outside patio had trash by the BBQ grills for at least 4 days because that's how long I was there and they did nothing to clean it. Bet it's still there go look.. The pool was by far the most disgusting pool I've seen, ever in 41 years of life. My wife asked someone to come clean it and we waited for 30 minutes to realize, they aren't coming to do a thing. The next day the pool was in worse shape than the day before. I would of rather swam in a lake. Completely ignored our request. But the diamond in the rough you ask? Our door to our room (I'll include photos which I almost never do and used a straw to demonstrate its just a hole) literally a dime sized hole with a napkin stuffed in it!? A coat hanger would open our door while we slept, no biggie I guess, if we didn't have our babies with us!!! Insane. Would never come back, the 2nd star is for the purple haired woman who only had her bottoms, she actually cared about the guests. The rest of them gave 2 squats. Their accolades are a joke, J.D Power awards lined up for best curtains I guess.

Was going to stay near the highway, but took a chance and drove another 7 mins to Fulton and had the nicest rest for an overnight stay as I was passing thru. Very quiet, good hot breakfast, and although first room didn t have a curtain we got moved right away to one that did. Pillows were a little lumpy, but big enough to work out okay for a nite. There were a few pubs minutes away in downtown Fulton as an alternative to the fast food chains at the gas stations.

With a large tour group. Check in was delayed for a couple reasons. We were 30 minutes early and they had not setup rooms for our tour group. We all made it to our rooms. We had to make a few adjustments related to number of occupants and beds. Rooms are a good size and clean. Lighting was abundant with table and floor lamps. Lots of charging locations. Plenty of linens. Location of hotel is a little drive from interstate, so very little traffic noise. Good over night stay

First, I wanna talk about those light blocking shades. So many hotels install them where they are too far from the wall so it makes them basically obsolete as the light shines in around them. This Baymon did them right. They hugged the walls and the room was dark. Also, the freezer section on the fridge actually worked. I was able to freeze multiple freezer packs. I didn't have to use my pillow from my luggage. Theirs was fine.Oh...it was also clean, breakfast looked like a good selection even if I didn't eat any. I was walking distance to a BBQ place with good reviews and a gas station if that's important too you. Wish that hotel was in St. Louis. Few good options out where I work from time to time.
