I have been a loyal customer for over 17 years on the 8th of April 2024 to have a problem checked I asked for Mike my normal service writerI was told he was not with the company anymore, so left my truck anyway. On Tuesday the 9th the service writerI called me and told me about the issues they found after we discussed them I told him to fix my vechnical. He said my vechnical would be done on Thursday the 10th or 11th I said fine. On the 11th I called to check on the status of my vehicle but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone, I had my wife stop by and she was told that the vechnical would not be ready until the 21st she the called my and I talked to the service writer and asked why I was not informed. He apologized and said I should have done notified. I never have any problems with Mike Darnell. As my wife was leaving one of the other writers stated I only called twice, so if he knew I had called twice he should have known to call me back and tell me there was a problem with the vehicle getting parts. I have never had any issues with Mike Darnell if there is a problem he informes me and gives me the reasons and the time frame it will be ready. I am not impressed with the new service writers or there lie about Mike Darnell not being with the company anymore. I have sent several customers to you currently I would not recommend you to anyone else.

This is one of the WORST car repair shops to ever work on my car. They have very very poor communication. They kept my Range for 2 days before they even bothered to indicate that parts neeeded to be ordered. We had to call them each and everytime we wanted info or an update on the vehicle. After they finally git the parts in. They still didn't contact us. My wife had to call them twice to finally get some details. So we dropped the car off on Tuesday morning when they opened and had to just show up on Thursday afternoon to reclaim the car. Every time we spoke, they kept saying oh were halfway done." Or We gotta update the computer. It shouldn't take 2 days to put Struts on a car. And it should take another entire day to register them into the computer. Their parking lot is filled with dead cars that no one is working on. You can tell becuz the cars have been weathered and they look out of date. The Owner is an older, Unbothered white man who stands outside smoking ciggs all day. This was a shyt show and an even worse experience. My attorney was notified, and we will be filing with the BBB. I purchased 2 vehicles from this shyt company, and there no way a Range Rover should need work 1 week after the purchase. I also purchased a Rogue, and it's having issues now. Imma just take it to Nissan and see if they can use my warranty. Becuz Travers will never touch another one of my cars. EVER!

Jason got my car done in a timely manner. Prices are wonderful and you know the job is done right. This the only place I will bro my my truck too I never had a problem with them at all.

DONT BUY ANYTHING WITH TRAVERS ANYWHERE ON THE CAR!!! Bought the car down the street at Travers GMT the beginning of the month and had issues within a couple weeks. Took to the shop and they said that it would be done the next afternoon covered under warranty and they ll call me. I called the next day. MIKE answered (called a couple times in between) and now it s still in the shop and we ll call you when it s ready. It s the day before thanksgiving, I gotta work the the rest of the week and now I m going to have to find rides or Uber to friends and family s houses on the holiday, not including me ubering to work. MIKE was very rude when I was trying to say all this and said I m not a mechanic idk when it ll be done, we ll call you when it s done and hangs up on me in the middle of me talking. I didn t know that s how we conduct business. I don t trust my car coming out this shop and will definitely take it to my shop I trust to check out their work. Terrible customer service! My attorney has been notified about the situation.

This is the place to come too. It was my first time and I they had my back like family. I will never take my car anywhere else. I recommend you bring your car here and you will be happy with your results.

First and last time visit. Gave false information about my vehicle that would lead me to getting rid of it (it's an old vehicle) while trying to offer extended warranty service for my other vehicle. I got a second opinion, and the claims were erroneous. I came in to get my hood release fixed. They initially told me they might have to remove the whole front end leading up to an excess of $500-to tighten a cable for the hood release?!! I explained to the guy that an OReillys auto supply guy just held the latch while I pressed down on the hood to open it before. So we did that together. They overcharged me anyway after leaving it there for the day (over $200) claiming there was 'so much rust' that they had to replace a bunch of stuff and it really totaled over $400 worth of work, and then told me of all the stuff wrong with the car but the main problem was the u joint was loose and would cause the drive shaft to drop out(this is what I got a second opinion on-it's not true). I wouldn't trust them to do anything else on any car! Maybe it's because I'm a woman? I'd steer clear at any rate. They want to sell you a warranty so they can create pricey fixes that will bring them $$$$$

Mike Darnell is extremely rude and dismissive. Not sure why he s allowed at the front desk. Record ALL conversations with this company. Might need an attorney later.

I dropped my car off on 4/10/23 because my check engine light came on 3 weeks after I purchased my vehicle. I took it here solely because this shop is affiliated with travers motor city auto plaza where I purchased the vehicle. Mike Darnell called and informed me I'd have to pay $1,300. Since I am a female and I also don't know anything about cars, I visited the shop with my grandfather to discuss the details of the repair. When I arrived with my grandfather, suddenly the price changed from $1,300 to $924 with Mike mentioning that the original price he quoted me included a job that was "recommended" but not required which he never mentioned to me prior that he put an extra change for something that wasn't even required to fix my vehicle. Had I not arrived with my grandfather, I'm sure he would have still stuck with the higher price without mentioning that part of the repair was just something suggested.Since my car has been here, I've called several times and left voicemails with no answer and I was told this was because "we can't handle the volume of calls that comes in". I was waiting on the manager at the car sales place to assist me with covering the cost and I told them to hold off on the repairs until we figure this out. Mike Darnell then calls me asking if it was okay to fix my vehicle, I even have the voicemail on my phone of him requesting permission to repair my car on 4/13/23 and I played the voicemail for him since he claimed I gave them the OK to fix it prior to that voicemail. Why would your employee leave me a voicemail requesting to repair it if I actually gave you consent? well that's because consent was not given clearly. I communicated with him that we're not going to move forward with repairs multiple times. He literally told me to "disregard" the voicemail because there was lack of communication between him and the mechanics and apparently the mechanics already fixed my car on 4/11/23 and replaced the part WITHOUT my permission prior to him even requesting consent to repair it which doesn't make sense.So I am at fault for the company's disorganization and lack of communication. Mike was extremely rude and dismissive so I am very surprised that he's working at the front desk as the front line employee dealing with customers directly when he doesn't understand what true customer service really is. He is extremely forgetful as he doesn't recall saying certain things and everything he tells you is different from the previous time you spoke with him. I've decided to record all conversations with this company and I suggest any one dealing with them, does the same as nothing aligns and you're told several different things. The news outlet has already been contacted because this service is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend them if they were the only repair shop on earth.Service: Auto maintenance

Took my Lexus GS 350 F Sport in for an alternator replacement and a rack and pinion replacement took them a week to even get to the car then completed all work in about 2 days. I received the car back with a horrible wheel alignment and was told the frame of my car was bent and that was best they could do as far as getting the wheels aligned. I ship the car to Georgia where I m now currently staying start driving it and my steer tires are going crazy each one wanting to pull in opposite directions I notice that my AC is not getting cold at all which I ve never had this problem before after almost being killed on the highway I pull off on an exit ramp where people are warning me that sparks are flying from under my car I get out to find that my control arm on my passenger side is completely off and dragging the ground. I open the hood of my car and the first thing I noticed was they didn t even put my engine cover back on of all things. My car is currently at an official Lexus dealership Nalley Lexus of Smyrna where I ve learned that the frame is not bent, the AC isn t working because it had to be moved to get to the alternator and it was not installed correctly, the wheel alignment was sooooo far off that the pulling between the wheels caused the control arm bolts to snap and that the rack and pinion wasn t even installed properly. Was also told they would throw in a free oil change in which I ended up paying for (obviously their so forgetful) this work is being paid for by my warranty company and it s costing upward of 7 grand. I m writing this review to inform people of what they are paying for when you allow them to service your vehicle. I thank God I was not seriously injured and that my children were not in the car.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Oil change

It took them 3 DAYS just to look at my car. They lag on purpose sending the repair claims to my warranty. Because of this, I can't even get a rental through the so called best warranty they gave me, because they have to approve the repairs first. Its the 3rd day, and still nothing..! They do this on purpose. I took my car in for a transmission issue, but they mention windows, brakes, and a parking light! I DONT recommend this shop or the car lot, because my car immediately needed repairs after I purchased it, and I continue to have issues 1.5 yr later nonstop. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. They messed up my title, miles, and lied on my contract! I had to call and fix the miles on my warranty myself!

do not use this business. Mike Darnell is a decent gentleman but have been trying to call all morning as all I want is the part number or brand they installed on my vehicle and they are absolutely refusing to tell me and the only thing I can think of is they used a cheap inferior part they don't want the customer to be aware of. There should never be any secret when it come to the part model or brand that any mechanic is installing on your vehicle. Something fishy is happening here I've been non stop calling for almost an hour the gentleman there keeps saying I'm "out of control" but the fact remains you did work on my vehicle and I didn't ask you or your company to fix it I just simply asked the brand to check in the manufacturers warranty as well as to know the part number it was originally replaced with. This company gets and F for customer service as well as a F for transparency. I suppose I will continue to call untill they give me the information I've requested. nobody in their right mind should be trying to hide the part they used in the repair but I guess either they answer my call or no ones calls today

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, Be careful, (ITS A SCAM) they re definitely ripping people off @ both (Travers GMT and Travers Premier Auto) they will sale you a vehicle that needs servicing a month later and after you take the vehicle to their shop (Premier Auto) for servicing, your vehicle will have more issues. Makes me wonder, are their technicians even certified?? If so why didn t your guys fix the issue with the vehicle you sold me?? For the record the vehicle that I traded in didn t need any servicing and everything worked properly. This company doesn t care about your time only your money, they have a system designed to take advantage of people! BEWARE!!! This company has been a huge inconvenience for me and I would NOT recommend either of their services!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection

I really appreciate the people over at Premier Auto. I love their customer service.Our car was fixed in a timely manner.Mike thank you so much for your concerns and honest advice.I imagine it must be hard sometimes because you can't please all of the people, all of the time.Mike does everything with an authentic, trusting, nice and genuine attitude. From my experience, this is one of the best car repair shops in St. Louis. Knowledgeable and professional staff. Whatever your service needs, Premier Auto Service is the place to go. I've been going to them for over 3 years. I trust no one else with the maintenance and repair of my vehicles. As long as they're in business, they will continue to have my business.

Very unprofessional. They talk to people like we know nothing about cars. They will tell you your vehicle will be done and than 3 weeks later it's not and they act like they are doing us a favor. Hands down the worst customer service if and when you can get a hold of someone they never answer th phone for days upon days. Love Travers auto car lot but not this place auto mechanic shop very very rude! They don't call, you have to call thousand times my car stayed in this shop a month and beware they will try to get you to have other stuff done for your car just didn't feel welcome and that's a problem for me.

So not only was I a customer here, I was an employee. And I have never been treated so poorly by a company before.2 women in the front office rule the building like mean girls in high school. Lied to me about work I had done on my vehicle and took out more than they were supposed to from my paycheck. Jenny and Taylor were rude, arrogant, and absolutely unprofessional.If zero stars existed, that s what I would rate this place. Only good thing about it was the guys in the back.Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

As a first time customer, my experience at Premier Auto was a nightmare>The power door locks on my 2003 Kia Optima needed to be repaired**To simplify the repair work, I mentioned to the sales associate that I had previously been advised by the dealership, the door lock relay was malfunctioning and would need to be replaced. I was provided with an estimate, I agree to the cost and gave my authorization to order the part. My appointment to have the part installed was at 07:00 am the following day> After waiting several hours, I was informed that their distributor had sent the wrong part>I was told that the part would arrive later that day but the scheduling was booked solid>I given another appointment 07:00 am appointment. I waited several hours to have the part installed. I paid for the work and departed the facility only to discover the locks were not working properly> I informed the sales agent and he lashed out at me and stated**that's what you told us needed to be repaired on your vehicle. Out of frustration he ask me to return at 07:00 am to have a technician check out the problem. After a 4 hour wait, I was informed that the relay part had been improperly installed and the locks were working. The sales agent apologized for the situation and the inconvenience. To little to late<I could have overlooked the entire incident, but not being discourteously treated and the hours I waited even though I had an appointment. I will never return to this repair facility for any reason and I would never recommend their service facility to anyone.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Motor City and noticed a small squeaking noise. They referred me immediately to Premier Auto Service where I was blown away. From their exceptional customer service to the fact that the technician Mike sat down and discussed the issues with me in depth. They got me in and done in one day and even gave me a maintenance schedule so I can service my car appropriately. I will certainly be driving from Ballwin to continue to do business with them. Highly recommend Premier for any and all car needs

Been going to premier auto for service on my 2008 bmw for 2 years now and they have always been quick and courteous. The management team is amazing and they have always quoted me better pricing than the surrounding competitors.

I have used this company for my vehicle repairs since 2006. I do not go elsewhere.
