I am not happy about writing this review at all. I have known Mark and the gang for lots and lots of years. My family was recommended by my uncle to this shop and we have taken all of our cars here for any and everything. We loved the people and the work was always great and they worked with us. 6 months ago, my father brought his truck in for brakes and something else. It was "fixed" but still was having issues so he brought it back and requested a different tech work on it. He asked for Stacey who we have always loved. I'm not sure if Stacey was the one that ended up working on the truck but after getting it back and it running like crap still, my father brought it to Ronsicks. THE BRAKES WERE PUT ON BACKWARDS. My father had to spend 2600 by the end of this just to have brakes changed? I'm very angry and I just found out about this but I never would have expected this from MAG and we will not be back nor recommend anyone patronize. My work started taking service vans here and I will see what I can do about changing that. Im hurt and thought the shop meant more to you...

They currently still have my vehicle to ensure it s running properly. My experience: make sure you don t plan on needing your vehicle for a day so they will be able to check it out and give you an estimate on what needs to be done. They are a busy shop so ask questions about turn around time. They work on multiple projects at a time to get them knocked out. They even went the extra mile and replaced something for me for free. I feel prices are high but I understand it s a licensed and insured shop so hey what can you do. Overall good work, good people and work comes with a warranty. I d recommend them.

Went in for a safety and emissions inspection. They could only do cash for it, but there was an ATM next door. They were all super kind and got the inspections done in less than 30 minutes.

Not happy! Took my car in because they said they could look at it the same day. I called a few hours later and kept going to voicemail. Drove up there to see if they looked at my car at 4:15 and they were already closed. Sign said close at 5. The staff at MAG has been truly amazing to me they went above and beyond to get my vehicle repaired. Each time I had an issue they worked me in and resolved the issue promptly and they really worked with me. Had issues with old mechanic for over charging & got recommended to visit MAG Automotive. Love the atmosphere & the staff is very polite. Got toured a little into the body shop side & I got to say it s a very trusting environment to leave your vehicle. Definitely will be coming back.

Great service, front desk and mechanics! Went for something small, ended up getting other services done as well. Everyone is informed, even providing you with addtl info if it helps. Also, very polite. Would definitely do business with them again.

Had some panels painted on our family's classic.Nice people.But.After many months and a second repaint. Not sure i want my classic car tied up again to fix it only to be sub par.Be prepared to be your own paint expert and know what your looking at before you pick it up. I have found tons over spray, missing paint, painted over dirt and grease, chipped flaky painted edges, runs, and a whole panel filled with pin holes, to mention a few things. I would of been better off at earl shrieb and got my car back in a few days.My car made it 60 years without any tom foolery. Zero respect given for that. Last time for correction took me 3 months to get it at that point you don't even look at the paint you just want your car back. I'm sure they would politely ask to correct mistakes as they are good people but sadly its probably hard for them to get a good painter in these times. There's no way after getting it done 2 times it will get any better this is the best they can do. And for that I regretfully write this review.We still want car correct and currently the money spent here will have to be spent somewhere else again. Unless the owner wants to flip the bill at another shop I'm uninterested in removing this review.Important to mention. Our family have sent several fender bender late model cars here for repair. We had very good results and professional treatment through the insurance process and small paint work. Good collision shop.

Fastest safety and emissions at mags. Friendliest guys at the shop...plus the parrot keeps you company while you wait for your car...

First time I took my SUV to them I had some fears because it was a VOLVO and wasn't sure they knew how to work on those cars and didn't want to go to a Dealership and charged much more. So ended at MAG and was happy with the service given. Staff also nice & professional.

I didn t realize i needed an emissions test with my car being brand new and all. So i was driving around aimlessly and getting frustrated bc everyone was being rude and booked and only do those Monday through Friday from 8-5 and I m working during those hours. Someone recommended Mags Auto on a Saturday. I called. Katie at the counter for me right in and out and I still made it to get my tags on time. I live great customer service. Thank you!

I brung my car in for a Cadillac converter car was fixed for reasonable price. I passed safety and emissions and was able to get plates same day. Awesome car shop and the people are very nice.

The staff at MAG Automotive is always helpful and considerate. Mark the owners prices bet the rest and his Mechanics are on point and know what they are doing.I will continue to bring my vehicle to MAGS and my boyfriend agrees...he brings both his vehicles to MAGS.Keep up the great work guys!

Another shade tree mechanic.. nuff said.. I wouldn t ever take my car back here again. dropped it off and get it back in worse condition then when I dropped it off. Not to mention they had it over a month with no real reason to keep it that long let alone did they fix it!? NO, they made it worse. Prime definition of a shade tree dollar general junk yard part using mechanic shop! One thing I know in the mechanic industry is your judged on your customer service plus the job done on the vehicle.. let me just tell ya this place did not meet either one of those from my experience an I would suggest to anyone else looking to go here, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Very professional shop. When I picked my car up the owner came over to explain what was wrong and made sure I felt comfortable with what was needed to fix the issues. Friendly people and prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them to everybody!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

That guy Mark, Who answers the phones, went round for round for days with my extended warranty company that was giving me the run around. That guy Mark wasn't gonna let that big business push me around! No other shop in town would have had the patients to deal with the games the warranty company wanted to play, I was very impressed with the staff and how that guy Mark handled the situation and kept me informed daily on the progress.Thanks mag automotive for getting my truck back on the road on the warranty companies dime!

I have known Mark and the whole crew for years now and can honestly say they are a top notch group of professionals when it comes to repairing vehicles and I know, as I did this line of work for a living for 15 years. I know when someone does or doesn't know what they are talking about. I know Mark personally and can tell you straight up he is honest as the day is long and above reproach as a man and as a friend and mechanic. He's been doing repair work for well over 25 years so he knows what he is doing, as well as employing those who share his knowledge and integrity in the field of auto and truck repair and customer service. Did I mention he is one of the best body repairmen I have ever seen in the business and has a state of the art facility rite on the premise for all your auto body needs. I hit a deer about a year and a half ago and he got me rite in and worked with my insurance co.State Farm and fixed my Grand Am like new, like the accident never happened. On top of all that Mark and the whole crew are fun to be around and to talk with and know, Stacy is a riot and always positive, as well as Melissa up front who is always a pleasure to talk with. This crew will always take good care of your vehicle needs and go the extra mile to make your visit one that you will remember fondly the next time your engine light comes on. So I missed four days of work because they told me my car would be fixed in one or two days. when I picked up my car there where cracks in the dashboard and a ten inch crack in my passenger seat and I have a extra 100 miles on my car that was not there before hand. The price was very reasonable and you obviously get what you pay for. I will no be taking it back there ever again yes in the automotive world you do have bumps along the road but own up to it please.

Mark was absolutely amazing! I was told by other machanics I would have to replace my mirror on my drivers side but Mark didn't take advantage of me and was honest. I didn't have to by another mirror and he put it right back on. Thank you so much Mark for making a really stressful week better! I'm sending people your way and I'll be back!

Did what the "big boys" wouldn't attempt.Our 2005 Mazda Tribute was cherry, very clean car. Except for the right rear wheel well. That was badly rusted. I took it to three different dealers and none of them would attempt the repair. Finally one of them recommended Mag Automotive, "they love this kind of thing!" It was true. Our little gold car was fixed and the price was less than half what I had mentally braced myself to pay. They'll be doing any future miracles we need done.

Mag Automotive was very professional, personable, FUNNY, and went above and beyond to make sure I was educated about my problems. They made sure I got the best deal and great quality tires. They gave me amazing customer service. I appreciate everything they did for me to ensure that I was not being tricked or mislead because I am a woman. I felt very secure and assured that I was being taken care of.I will go to them for any and everything about my car. Thank you!!! I recommend them to anyone.I was recommended to come here. I work in North County and I wanted somewhere that was near my job. When I called I asked for an estimate over the phone. The lady, Melissa, suggested that I come in to get a free inspection. She was very sweet and courteous. I went in Monday. I told the mechanic, Stacey what my dealer Suntrup Hyundai told me what was wrong with my car. My dealer wanted me to pay almost $1500 worth of work for my car. They wanted to replace both front and lower ball joints, left tie rod end, wheel alignment, and 4 new tires. They made it seem extremely urgent and that I needed it done asap.Stacey checked my car out. While I waited I watched tv on their huge flat screen, sat on an over-sized comfy leather sofa, and used their wifi... Once he was done with the inspection, he wanted to show me what was going on with my car. I was able to get underneath my car to see what my dealer was talking about. Nothing was wrong with my front and lower ball joints. Suntrup was going to charge me $500 for work that wasn't even necessary!Stacey explained to me and showed me what was going one and the issues with my tie end rods. Suntrup also tried to make me get 4 new tires when my rear end tires were fine. I ended up saving almost half of what Suntrup tried to make me spend. I made an appointment to get the work done the following day (Tuesday).I was able to speak to the owner Mark, who was very sympathetic and understanding with my situation. He was very sincere and was on the phone immediately to make sure I got my new tired and parts delivered for my appointment the next day.I dropped my car off, and Melissa dropped me off at work. After I was off, Stacey picked me up. They gave exceptional service. It was one of the easiest and effortless repairs ever for me. I left feeling relieved and happy.

Gave them four days to fix multiple problems. Essentially they changed spark plugs. The new lady behind the desk hasn't a clue about her job. I understand a pretty face but brains are recommended for her job. Last lady knew her ..... Place is going down hill. Not fixing things, Xtra days, rude owner and a front desk receptionist that's hasn't a clue about vechiles. Go any place else if you actually want work done, timely.

I gave this shop a chance because i brought a wood chipper in here because i couldnt get the fly wheel off. The owner had some of his mechanics stop what they were doing and helped me get it off for free. So my truck broke down and figured i would return the favor. They told me my motor was done and so did Charbonier Auto Service. Mag said it needed 1800 dollars worth of work before they even got to the motor. Then i took it to Charbonier Auto Service for a second opinion and they said the motor was done as well. Thank god my neighbor talked me into a third opinion. At a great shop called Steve's old town automotive and they charged me less than 500 for a f**king catalytic converter. Mag Automotive and Charbonier Auto Service both said my motor was done and couldn't figure out it was a catalytic converter I can't believe these shops are still in business please drive by and go straight to Steve's Old Town Automotive you won't go wrong. I will never let Mag or Charbonier ever look at one of my vehicles again!!!!!

Simply the BEST! Rest assured when you need to have your vehicle repaired that you will be given the BEST service. I have had both my vehicles repaired 2004 VW Jetta Turbo and 2000 GMC Jimmy and will only bring them back to MAG Automotive when they need work.

They fixed the water pump on my truck along with both sway link bars with a very reasonable price. Currently my truck won't start, but I'm bringing it back here. Thank you!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My car is running worse than when I dropped it off. I don't know if they deliberately destroyed something that wasnt damaged but since I picked my car up it is now sputtering and stopping and is very loud. It wasnt doing it before...
