My husband and I always have patronized this Dobbs location in north county for many years. I trust the technicians expert opinions and workmanship, the appointments are veryflexible, the work is completed usually in a very timely manner unless other circumstances arise, and overall, Ed and the other mechanics are pleasant, respectful, patient and civil to me and other clients from my observations. Finally, the facility including the restroom, is always neat and clean.

For all the guys that work the front desk. They are extremely knowledgeable very courteous and will take time to explain things to you. Dobbs researched & completed all required mileage maintenance of scheduled services at a reasonable cost. I'm glad the dealer never returned my call because the costs would have been substantially more. All future scheduled maintenance will be completed at Cross Keys Dobbs!

I was given diagnostic from a dealer, that my car needed a new part. I brought it to Dobbs with that info. Turned out it was a fuse. Thanks to Jai, he wrote that on my repair invoice and I was able to get refunded the dealerships $200.00 diagnostic fee. THANK YOU JAI, FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I was a walk in, looking to make an appointment to have my car serviced, nice guy at the counter appointment isn t necessary we can take you now this saved me so much time because my issue was resolved and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. Great job and thank you.

Waited 5 minutes before someone greeted me at the front desk. Sun was beaming through the windows as I was waiting, which made it super hot. It took 3 hours for my vehicle. No good customer service here. No refreshments was offered considering the long wait times.

HORRIBLE!!! I dropped my car off to get an oil change, tire rotation and a wheel alignment. I was called by Mike who stated the steel cords in the inner part of my front tire were showing and I needed a new front tire. He told me the cost of the tire would be approximately $162. I bought the tire in 2021 so I asked about the warranty. He told me because I hadn t had a wheel alignment with them, I no longer had a warranty on the tire. For the record; I had not needed a wheel alignment but I have had my tires rotated every 6000 miles with them. I told him I could get a cheaper tire someplace else and asked him to do the alignment and oil change .and if he couldn t do the tire rotation then that was fine.When I went to pick up my car, I was told they only did the oil change because with my tire the way it was, they would get a false negative if they did the alignment.I paid for the oil change, received my key, but didn t see my car outside. I asked where my car was and was told by the guy at the counter that it was in the back. He told me to walk through the service area and go in the back to retrieve my car. I explained even if I went through there I didn t know exactly where to go and it didn t look safe for me to just walk through there. He then suggested that I go outside and walk around the building to retrieve my car. I explained again, I still won t know where my car is. He proceeded to escort me through the service area, out the door to the back of the building and pointed out my car to me. I got in my car, started it and the tire light was on. I drove around to the front to get air put in my tires. The technician that was out there totally ignored me. I had to go inside and ask for someone to put the air in my tires. It appears that customer service is optional at this location. Needless to say .I won t be back.

Jail was very friendly and made me feel welcome. In a timely fashion they advised what the problem was. I had already made an appointment with Dobbs on Dorsett for my sparkplugs and they showed concern for their friends. I love Dobbs on Dorsett also. I did have my sparkplugs replaced there because of convenience. Thanks!

I needed to replace my battery, made an appointment came in didn't wait long they took the truck in shortly after I checked in. The guys up front were friendly, professional, and answered any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend this dobbs. I was very pleased with everything. Thank you!!!

!!! UPDATE: This is the only place we ll use for tires and brakes!!!Ed and his team provide SUPERIOR customer care and GREAT service. We ve now used this Dobbs for new tires for two cars plus new brakes and calipers one one car. They are extremely helpful and very honest. It s refreshing to find car people we trust this much!! KUDOS TO ED!!!*****If I could give more stars, I would!! These people are SO NICE, and are very professional while being really friendly on the phone and in person. My husband usually takes car of car stuff, so this is only my third time here. I gotta say that every business should be run like this! They seem very thorough, and honest, too. One past visit was for a second opinion on brakes that had been strongly recommended by another shop. This Dobbs looked at the car, and politely told us our brakes were fine. (Needless to say, we didn t return to the other shop.) Car places can be so iffy. Don t hesitate to bring your business here.

I do not recommend this Dobbs. They used to provide good customer service but have declined. What's the purpose of making an appointment, arriving early for first come, first serve, or having a warranty if they make you wait hours and do not honor their word? I watched several people leave that came in after my 7 am. arrival. I was in around July 12th. In again on August 12th. I'm told my front tires are bald. They just checked all the tires in July. I didn't drive the car for almost 2 weeks. Why are they bald now but weren't in July? Had another issue with them on a diagnostic request. I won't be back here again.

Went on to have a tire repaired this morning but tire couldn t be repaired due to three nails. Ed worked with me. He suggested they replace that tire today due to my schedule constraints. I did need all new tires. After some discussion, I decided to replace all my tires in a couple of days. Walking around the retail area, I saw a sign for an instant rebate. I asked about it and was told it was now a mail in rebate. However, Ed gave it to me as an instant rebate since the signs had not been changed. That is what I consider to be excellent service. Thank you Ed!

Made an appointment the day before, I dropped my vehicle off at 7:00 a.m. when they opened for an alignment service. After having it all day they couldn't get it taken care of. Complete waste of time I picked the vehicle up without the alignment being completed at 6 pm. Lost a customer

I made an appointment for an oil change for a cost of $ 77. I sat there for 2 and a half hours before it was completed. At no time did anyone ever communicate with me as to the amount of time it was taking. Had they done so I could have rescheduled as I missed an engagement. When the service was completed, they acknowledged nothing at that time either about the long wait.I did notice that I was charged $59. I guess my time is valued at $9 per hour.

Every time I come here, the experience is different. Sometimes it s great depending on the staff, sometimes it s horrible. There is no in between. The service is so inconsistent. Today I called twice and BOTH times, Ed answering the phones was rude and encouraging me NOT to get an oil change with them. Refusing to allow me to wait (yes, for an oil change), refusing dropping me off AND picking me up in the neighborhood behind them when they offer this service, asking me to make an appointment but when I called earlier in the day for an appointment for another day, they was fully booked and I was told to squeeze in. They only seem interested in your car care when it s a big cost service but regular maintenance items, you get treated horribly. They had no problem selling me $1300 tires a couple months ago. They had no problem replacing a $600+ battery. They no problem doing any other large work on my car. But EVERY SINGLE TIME, I call for an oil change, it s a problem and they don t want to service me. When I said nevermind, I ll call Danmark down the street, Ed hung up on me without uttering another syllable. I called Danmark and they immediately accepted my car without making me feel like they didn t want to service me.

Told me they could get me in if I was there in 15 minutes. Got there in less than 10 and then took over an hour to do an emissions inspection.
