Been going there for over 10 years. Nice people, are not too expensive and very good at their jobs! I would highly recommend them.

In 2021 my air conditioner was not working. A condenser was replaced. Three parts were faulty and finally the fourth was good. Then the blower motor was replaced, again after several faulty parts. I have a Nissan. Schapers is a foreign auto repair shop. They had my car for 18 days. The work was warrantied. Last Spring the blower motor was replace again at Schapers expense however they refused to give me a warranty on that part. Last Summer I had over $1000 further repairs done by a dealer on the air conditioner which should probably have been detected initially while the work would have still been done under the car s warranty. My air conditioner is again not working. I just took it back to the dealer. I now need a new condenser - a part Schapers replaced less than two years ago. They seem to use inferior parts which do not last and in the end cost the customer added expense and frustration which are the reasons I am making this review now. On the positive side, the customer service was quite good.Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair

Anyone who gave a bad review on this business is either broke or just a crybaby because they don't have the skills to repair their own property and are too greedy to appreciate the mechanics that do! I was in here for my brakes on my Corolla and they literally gave me ALL the information on what is wrong with my vehicle, diagnostic was cheap $45, and they even worked with me when I was tight on cash. Best local shop in Festus area! If you want a shop that won't screw you over and gives you the information on everything you need, come here!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great place great people! I called on a day they were closed and left a message, and they called me back within 15 minutes. I was on a road trip and my car started making a noise. they got me in the next day and replace the right rear wheel bearing. The part did end up failing a few days later but they covered it with the warranty. I appreciate everything they did at Schaper automotive. Super nice people. Super friendly. Awesome people to do business with. Thank you!

Tried to get me to pay nearly $2,000 for a rack and pinion that was never bad. There was fluid leaking onto it, yes, but it was fine. They also tried to tell me that my first car had a failing transmission. Don't get me wrong, it was a terrible car, and the transmission was showing it's age, but it was still fully functional. They also lied to my mother and told her that her perfectly fine tie rod needed replaced. I'm not sure if it's incompetence or greed, but I'm done giving this place the benefit of the doubt.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great service! My truck broke down not to far from their shop and they had it fixed by the end of the day. They worked hard to get me back on the road. Their rates are very reasonable! Will definitely use them again!!

Zero stars is the correct review. Just found out that the radiator that I had Schaper change out is still the original part. The mechanic says it looks like they put stop leak in it. I'm having to change out the thermostat too because of the stop leak. BEWARE of any establishment that won't let you see into the garage as they are working.My first clue of their incompetence was when I picked up the vehicle after they were supposed to change out the fuel filter. I immediately went to buy gas and the gas was over flowing from the tank! I was able to get it back to their shop where the man spent 5 minutes with it. He said that it hadn't sealed all the way. I'm wondering now if they even changed out the fuel filter or if they just took it out, blew it out, and put it back in.The owner's son was supposed to have done the work on my vehicle.I will be following up with the BBB!

Very honest, nice people and do great work. Great prices, good mechanics :) They always give you a detailed bill of what everything cost including parts and labor. I have been going to them for 2 years now. They always do a great job.

This is a great repair shop that gets things done and uses quality replacement parts. The people are nice and prices are fair. So far, I've never had any problems.

Shaper Auto Repair is a courteous, helpful, and honest repair shop. I am not from the area and have been looking for a good local repair shop. I was immensely impressed with Shaper when they recently did work on our Hyundai Elantra. Their prices are reasonable, but more importantly, the quality of their work is high, and they do not unneccessarily fix things that do not need fixing. The customer service at their front desk is exceptional. I will send all of our auto repairs to Shaper and will send friends and family to them as well.

I have taken my car here every time for the last 5years, and within minutes they know the issue and it's fixed within the day. Great service!

LET ME START BY SAYING IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AVON PRODUCTS THEN THIS IS THE SHOP FOR YOU. WE HAD OUR CAR TOWED TO THIS REPAIR SHOP/AVON DISTRIBUTOR. THEY DIAGNOSED OUR VEHICLE AND DETERMINED THAT THE ALTERNATOR WAS BAD. THEY GAVE US A QUOTE TO HAVE IT REPAIRED FOR $900. KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS TO HAVE AN ALTERNATOR REPLACED, $900. SO WE OBVIOUSLY TOLD THEM THAT WE DID NOT WANT THEM TO TOUCH ANYTHING ON THE VEHICLE. SO WE HAD THE CAR TOWED FROM THE SHOP TO MY HOUSE AND THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER ASKED IF THERE WAS GREASE STAINS IN THE FABRIC OF MY DRIVER DOOR PRIOR TO DROPPING THE CAR OFF AT THIS WONDERFUL SHOP? OF COURSE THE ANSWER WAS NO. SO WE CALLED THEM BECAUSE THEY CHARGED US $40 TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE VEHICLE AND FOR THE $40 I GOT A RIDICULOUS QUOTE AND AN UNBELIEVABLE AMOUNT OF GREASE ON MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR, WHICH THEY OF COURSE BLAMED ON THE NICEST/CLEANEST TOW TRUCK DRIVER I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE. IF YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF AND DEAL WITH IGNORANT PEOPLE THEN PLEASE USE THIS SO CALLED REPAIR SHOP. I WISH I COULD INCLUDE PICTURES OF MY DOOR TO SHOW ANYONE WHO IS WANTING TO TAKE THEIR CAR TO THIS SHOP. MORAL OF THIS REVIEW: PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE TO DO ANYTHING ON YOUR VEHICLE UNLESS YOU WANT GREASE STAINS LEFT IN YOUR CAR, OR WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE " MUSK FOR MEN" OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER AVON PRODUCTS..THANK YOU SCHAPER AUTO REPAIR! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INTO YOUR SHOP AGAIN AND ADVISE ANYONE ELSE IN THE FESTUS AREA NOT TO ALSO. THANK YOU!!
