Some of the best service I've had In years. I called as I was coming into town with a leaking valve stem on a trailer tire. The guy on the phone said bring it in we'll get right after it. They got super busy in the 15 minutes it took me to get there. The regional manager, Dave, got on his knees in the rain and swapped both valve stems in less than 15 minutes. I didn't know it but the tires had the wrong stems for the higher pressure tires on the trailer. I'm blown away by the wonderful service. When the Boss works that hard it shows in the employees. Thanks Dobbs.

Great experience. It was end of day. Had a nail and leak in need of a patch. They had me in and out in under 20 minutes. And, here's the amazing thing: no charge. Wanted me to have a good experience after having a bad one at Plaza Tire down the road. Kudos to you, Dobbs!! A breath of fresh air! And thank you!

I was doing a full brake job on my daughters car. I damaged one of the wheel lugs with my hammer while trying to remove a stuck rotor. I have never replaced a wheel lug before and didnt want to waste time trying to replace it myself. I called Dobbs in Festus and spoke with Talon. He told me to bring it on in and they would get it taken care of. I came in a short time later and Talon took my info and keys and said we'll call you when its ready. A short time later, Talon called and told me that my car was ready. When i showed up, to my surprise, the cost for repair was way lower than i thought it would be. I have bought tires at this location a couple times and have had some small repair items as well. I am going to look at this current repair as a favor from Dobbs in Festus based on my past purchases and i will be returning here for any future automotive needs. Talon and the crew were professional and this store location is clean and organized.

They always take great care of us. Honest and I trust what they tell me. They've never steered us wrong and have definitely helped us out a more than a few times. Bill does a great job! We've been giving him our business for almost 20 years between Festus and South County.

These guys in festus are the worst I have ever seen. If they don't feel like helping you they just blow you off. Went back for a re- inspection and was told to leave the car they might get to it tomorrow because they were to busy and to re- inspect the car would have to be brought back in and put on lift to inspect. Had a small chip in windshield and was told that failed and he had a buddy with a glass place down the street that could fix it... fishy?... yes. Avoid this place at all cost

I took my car in for repairs and maintenance. Chris checked me in and Tate was kind enough to take me back home. They serviced my car quickly and picked me up and took me back to the store. Tallen checked me out. All of these gentlemen gave me exceptional service and were kind and delightful to deal with. I HIGHLY recommends this Dobbs store and their team.

I took my daughters vehicle in for safety and emissions inspection. They called saying there were a couple broken parts that needed to be fixed to pass safety inspection and the car needed to be run longer for the codes to all check for emissions. They gave my wife a price just shy of $700 to fix the safety issues. She handed the phone to me and as he told me what the reason for failure was I told him I d come get it and replace the parts myself. From that moment on their attitude toward us changed. I picked up the car and removed the parts in about an hour. My wife went to Napa the next day and got the new parts for 110$. In a half hour I had the parts on. I dropped the vehicle off Saturday morning on my way to work and put the keys in the drop box. When I called at 10:30 to inform them I dropped it off he seemed rude. I asked if they did both inspections and he replied done . I said thanks, I ll be in around 3 and he hung up without a word. When I get there they gave me the paper for safety but no emissions. When I asked him about it he said that it had passed previously. I went and got the paper which was a fail. That person was no longer up front when I came back so I had to deal with someone else. That person said they could get the vehicle in. I waited about an hour then the first guy came back and said it still needed to be driven more for the computer to run all the tests.So we drive it Saturday evening then all day Sunday so we could get the car licensed. On Monday my wife went back there and they told her they couldn t get it back in until Wednesday evening.They told her she could take it somewhere else she d just have to pay the inspection fee again. They weren t making money off it so they didn t want to deal with it.I understand they re in business to make money but the we re trying to make 600$ off what would equal to less than an hours work for them and when I didn t fall for it they started being rude. The parts they said were broken were in fact bent and broken, so they weren t making up thing. Maybe being a little dramatic because a control arm had a slight bend in it and that s one of the things that failed.They were just overcharging and being unprofessional when I decided to do the work myself.

UPDATE: 12/30 Bill Drummonds (store mgr) did call me to discuss the repairs and we came to a fair resolution. He explained he did not get my message from his staff when he returned from vacation or he would have called me earlier. They made a mistake, owned up to it and made it right. This is the essence of good customer service. I will continue to support Dobbs because they treated me fair and fixed the issue in the end.Bill Drummonds the store manager of Festus was supposed to call me to resolve this issue and he never did.On Nov 28, the Dobbs Plaza 21 store on 11844 Tesson Ferry Rd told me my truck needed both front axle actuators removed to fix the noise issue coming from my front end and gave me a quote. The Festus Dobbs is closer to my house so I took the truck to them, explained what their other store said, but thatthey needed to confirm themselves what the issue was before proceeding and that I would need to see any defective parts that were replaced.On Dec 1, they said it had been fixed by replacing the two front axle actuators and to come pickup the truck.On 12/02 when I picked up the truck nothing had been fixed, as it was still making the same exact sound as before. I informed them and they told me to bring it in again.On 12/04 they proceeded to tell me they had earlier replaced the 2 front axle actuators by mistake and it had not fixed anything but they still charged me $736.64! I asked to see the defective parts that they replaced but they would not show them to me. They said this time they replaced the correct parts, the vacuum lines, (vacuum line kit) because that was the problem all along, not the 2 actuators they replaced earlier. This time they charged me $252.31 and it still is not fixed! They want to expand locaitons even more and go nationally, but they won't be successful treating customers this way.

Mechanics at Dobbs are fairly efficient it s the people at the counter who are my problem Chris I think was his name.Very unprofessional and rude with an attitude.Called and to see if my truck was done and got yes and hung up on me Was wanting inspection and tires rotated Came to pick up tires weren t rotated after leaving it all day came back in and telling me i didn t tell to rotate when I explicitly did Had to wait an hour or better to get it done with no apologies from Chris Bill Drummond needs to have a talk with his front staff m w

I gave this location a bad review before, for not being attention oriented when it comes to maintenance/preventable issues of a vehicle. I have changed my mind since then and I prefer this location to other auto mechanics in Jefferson county. They work hard, they have great communication, and they warranty the work for a reasonable price. Mike and bill are great to work with in assisting automobile issues. They fixed my rear wheel barring a radiator fan and a faulty blinker for 1,300$ which I feel is very affordable. Highly recommend!

I was a walk in customer, the Two gentlemen at the counter were both polite, and helpful. I asked for a emissions inspection. In about an hour I received a call to pick up my Jeep. I m very impressed, For it was pretty busy today. Again when getting there, they were both very cordial. Thank you. John H.

Fantastic experience here! We blew a tire on the highway and pulled off to find this Dobbs. Bill got us in and fixed and back on the road within an hour. Very helpful courteous and accommodating.

We had been hearing a strange noise and were traveling long distance far from our home in Texas. The noise was intermittent, and a previous shop didn't drive it long enough to hear it, but Dobbs' Bill did and he heard it and then looked up online the bulletins published for our vehicle and let us know what he learned. It is probably a transmission issue and they don't do that type of work, but he wouldn't let us pay him for his time since we were from far away and it only took him 10 min. We would give him our business if we had a chance again!!

I took my daughter's car to be checked because I heard grinding when using brakes there was an indicator light on. They thoroughly looked it over and said it was in great shape. They didn't try to take advantage of my situation. There was no coat either, it is rare to find honest people today. I highly recommend them.

I was fortunate enough to work with Chris, from the moment he answered the phone, all the way through my experience at the service center. Ever the professional, Chris is very knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to work out a way for you to be completely satisfied with Dobbs, their product, and his service. They have earned my business. Chris was not only polite and professional, he is also very engaging, friendly, and honestly, quite funny. I highly recommend that you call and ask for him personally!

If you re reading this review to decide if you want to do business with this Dobbs location, run away. My first bad experience with this store was in 2016 when they failed my Suburban during a safety inspection for having front ball joints out of state safety specifications. I brought it home and checked them myself and they were easily within spec. Went back to the store and insisted they show me how it failed, and they couldn t recreate the fail. I told the service manager to rewrite my inspection as passed or I would call the MSHP to the store and file fraud charges against them, so he passed it. I ve been back on a couple of occasions since for tires only, but Bill Drummond knows better than to try any service shenanigans with me so it s been mostly benign. Until today. Had a 9:30 appointment that I set up last Saturday and told them the tires I wanted. They got me in at 9:30, but at 10:00 the guy I ordered the tires from came out and told me they didn t have them at the store. Said they could have them in an hour so they put my old tires back on the car and I told them I d be back at 11:30, which he said they would be ready. Got back at 11:30 and still not tires. Finally got me back on the rack at noon. Took them an hour to mount 4 tires. Tech was smoking while he was doing my tires, as were many other techs, and just taking his sweet time. Bill, the manager knows me well and made no effort to apologize for any of the days missteps. Carving out 4 hours of a Saturday to mount 4 tires on the incompetence and lack of regret by a service provider is jacked up. I ve also heard Bill and the other service writers gouge seniors and women on failed inspections by telling them they needed brakes, or wipers, or you name it. It s a heist business you need to steer clear of at all cost. I know I will from this day forward.

Bill, the manager, waited on me. He greeted me by name. Personally checked the tread on our tires. The service was completed sooner than we expected. Dobbs has always given us good advice on car maintenance and we trust them.

I had a blow out on the Hwy tire shredded, had AAA tow to this loc, they did NOT have my tire in stock, but those guys went above and beyond to call the Fenton store to order my tire, and put my spare on and air it up so I could get back to Fenton safely. These guys were AWESOME, truly the best and helped me out tremendously. I thank you all very much

Excellent service and fast. I was on the return side of a 1500 mile trip when my trailer developed a terrible bounce. One of the tires was failing and I needed a fix fast as it was late in the day and most stores were closing soon. I removed the wheel in the parking lot of the Dobbs store at Festus and they completed the mounting/balancing in about 10 minutes. Awesome job. I am out of state but if I lived in the area they would be the only tire shop I would use.

After being let down by road side assistance and having to change my own tire off of 55 during heavy traffic, I went to Dobbs in Festus where I met Talon and the gentleman which I believe might be the manager. They both worked together to get me a tire that was not in stock. Being in an industry where I deal with the public on a daily, they both made my day. Not only did they get me back on the road, but Talon related to the usual problems that some of us deal with outside of car problems. The whole crew seemed to be in tune and work well. From the actual mechanics that worked on my car to the front desk. If I'm ever back in this part of town and have car problems I will no doubt choose Dobbs because of Talon and his co workers. Thank you all!

I had a nail in my tire so I was losing air. I had my grandsons, ages 2&4 with me. I believe it was John at festus, mo. that was kind enough to fix my tire from outside the repair garage so we could get done in only 15-20 minutes. I truly appreciated that.

Dropped my car off two hours ago for a inspection recheck. It had a crack and now it doesn t. Two hours later here we sit. They need a better method to get simple rechecks in/out. I brought it here rather than my normal place because it was close to my work. This is the second time in three years I have tried them and won t be back. Sometimes you just need a reminder of why you didn t come back in the first place. 1 star is simply because customer service is okay.
