They don t care about their employees and see them as numbers. I worked at the Eldon shop. I told them in the interview my experience level. Yes, I have don t Autobody, restoration, rust repair and mechanics for more than 7 years. Have had my own side business since 2018 I ve restored and repaired over 15-20 vehicles, was a ASE Ford mechanic for 4 1/2 years and was an Aircraft Electrician in the Army 2 combat deployments. That being said I had never worked in an actual body shop they knew that coming into the gate day 1. I told them I m here and willing to learn and know the basics. Last week I get called into the office and let go for looking up how to properly take a bumper off a car! I m sorry what?! Last I checked this was a place that took pride in doing something right and if that means looking something up like on the Ford flex that had a chrome piece that hid 2 bolts behind it to make sure it s done right that shouldn t be an issue. I guess they ve never heard of Alldata, Haynes manuals, TSBs etc. y all would never make it in the military all of our work was done with ALS A-E and other computerized technical manuals. If you didn t follow step by step you were in trouble! Ask any real mechanic and they ll tell you they still have to look stuff up time to time. I went to the Jefferson City shop and confronted Devon over this situation since he seems to have nothing better to do with his time then spy on employees through cameras and told the ladies to let me go. Devon told me all cars are basically the same and that ANYBODY off the street could take the bumpers off the cars there. Told me I didn t know how to do my job etc then had the nerve when I told him I m a combat vet I ve been in combat and warfare to say congratulations sarcastically. I failed to see Devon do more than sit behind a desk, kinda funny. We live in a society were no one wants to work and skilled trades are dying yet you don t want to give someone willing to learn and work a chance. What a shame.

Hit a deer outside of Eldon on the way out of town on vacation. Fisher's was recommended as a place to tow the van. They were able to get the van back working and kept us update the whole way. They were nice but I never got to see the work due to my car being totalled . Enterprise was okay as well for a car rental place but they said they had extended my rental and on last notice called and said I needed to return it a week sooner then planned... wouldn't work with me around it either. Vehicle was good and clean and I had a hole in tire after a week of having it and it toke them 40 minutes to change it . Would use again . Just hope for better communication next time

Fischer Body Shop in Eldon is our goto! Staff are very knowledgeable, always helpful, they take my concerns seriously, they are always informative and quick to respond!
