The main repair they did to my car seems to be ok but i was charged for something they didnt do that needed to be fixed, they were supposed to call me about making it right. Ive never heard from them. Bad business guys

Had bad vibration in the steering and thumping in steering wheel. They fixed the problem driving good costed a lot less than I expected. Good job guysThank you.

Got some long nagging problems fixed in under an hour and for a very fair price. Still had quality work done here but I tried to get an appointment here for over a month and still haven't been called. I had to take my business elsewhere and can't keep a 5 star review up for that.

it cost $3000 to get my grandmas car fixed and it went into THIS shop almost a YEAR ago and it is still in there. Horrible place to take your car. I also know someone else s car who has been sitting there for a very long time. Please don t take your vehicle here unless you want it to sit in there little show off lot for a year. $3000 to waste that my church raised and no ounce of effort to try and fix it on their part it seems. My grandma has been completely heartbroken with the treatment she has been getting from them. Good for the peoples cars they do fix but over a year is disrespectful and horrible. My grandma has been without a car too long now. This place should be ashamed of themselves.

Absolutely wonderful place to go get your car fixed. Very trustworthy people and fair prices. If something happens after you pick your car back up, they will put your car right back in and figure it out. Once we had a timing chain mess up on our blazer. He came to our house on a Sunday and worked on our vehicle. Never have I ever had a mechanic care enough to do that. So now that's the only shop I ever go to for my vehicles. I trust them 100% .

They were super busy on the Friday I needed my car repaired because a hose broke to my radiator. Even though I assured them if it wasn't able to be completed that day. it would be okay. They assured me they would do their best.They came through for just starters! They checked all my other hoses and fluids, had a very pleasant attitude through out the day, did not over charge what I estimated my cost to be in my head AND had it all done just a few hours after drop off.I not only recommend this auto repair shop, they will be my go to when I am not able to use my usual shop in the Bluff

I cannot thank Charlie and his staff enough!! I should have written this review last year, but better late than never. Last August, my husband, our two dogs and I were traveling along highway 60 on our way to Chattanooga, TN. We were 20 minutes outside of Dexter, MO when my car s air conditioner started blowing hot air. We were over 5 hours from home and it was 98 degrees outside.Turned down for help by the Auto Zone and Walmart automotive department in town, I was feeling pretty defeated when I called Advantage Automotive. I called 15 minutes before they closed and expected to be turned away. I explained our situation and the office lady said to bring my car right over and they would take a look. We were treated with kindness the second we arrived. It didn t take them long to confirm that my AC compressor needed replaced.I immediately thought we d have no luck getting that replaced in time to continue on our vacation. But Charlie was able to locate a compressor in Springfield and overnight it to his shop. He said it would be in around 8am and they could complete the work by 12pm. We had to stay one night in Dexter, but were so relieved!! Charlie even gave us hotel recommendations and explained where all the restaurants were in town.The next morning two people from the shop came to our hotel and picked up my car then brought it back to us when the work was finished. We were blown away by the generosity of everyone here. They could have very easily told us no or been too booked up to not squeeze us in, but they all went above and beyond! Thank you!I recommend Advantage Automotive to anyone in the area!

Charlie and his staff work on all my personal vehicles and multiple company vehicles. He has always done a good job and always charges a fair price. Its hard to find a honest mechanic, but I would recommend him to anyone!!

I don't usually write reviews but had a terrible experience. My vehicle was in and out of this shop for over 2 years and the issue was never fixed. They went weeks or months without calling me or returning my calls. I was told by Charlie himself, that I could have it inspected and it would be ready the following day. When I came the next day to collect the inspection information, it hadn't been done. Because he "didnt have time". When we told them our business with them was done, he took no responsibility for his neglect and only offered excuses. He was busy, sick, out of the office, running the front and the back by himself (which was untrue). I will not be doing any business here and I highly encourage you to beware.

Great experience. They did an engine swap on a Toyota for me. Fantastic job. There was one issue with the AC that was fixed immediately. Great customer service. Great job.

Charlie and his team do excellent work. Charlie stands behind his work and his team's work 100%. Have been using him for 25 years or more. I only go somewhere else if Charlie can't get me in. Thanks Charlie

My car had a short in it as well as a charging system issue they fixed my car in one day they also did my inspection the same day to. Great people they were professional and very reasonable on there prices.they could have taking advantage of me on the wiring issue but they have integrity and even showed me the repairs they did other shops would have been dishonest and only god knows what they would have charged me for the problems listed above I would recommend this shop to anyone thanks guys for fixing my car

Absolutely love this place!!! Great Customer Service, mechanics actually listen to you, they take time to explain what is wrong. This is the only place I will take my vehicle to. They treat you like family.

I always get my vehicles inspected here. They get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time, and are always friendly and courteous. Highly recommend them for vehicle inspections!
