Hauling a camper from Arkansas to Pevely and my brakes go out on my 2017 GMC gas burner. I had no idea of who to take my truck to. STL diesel was recommended by a fellow camper where we are staying. We took my truck to their shop on a Sunday, and they called me Monday saying they had already determined what was wrong.They dealt with my aftermarket warranty and was in constant contact with me throughout the entire repair process. repair was done by Wednesday. I cannot say enough good things about this business. This is how all businesses should operate. Friendly staff, quick repair, and constant contact with customer. Rick even answered questions I had that weren't even related to the repair!I'd give more than 5 stars if the option was available!!!

Had my transmission replaced here along with several other repairs & they are amazing! They are thorough, honest, fast, organized, professional, and treat vehicles as if they were their own. You can tell there is character and pride in what they do!Great communication and I don't know that you will find a better diesel shop to deal with than this one! Thanks to the whole team for resolving my truck issues and the great customer service!

I took my truck in for front end work on 12/15/23. I called them 2 days later and told them it was worse than when I had brought it in. They told me to go get a front end alignment and the wheels balanced to see what that would do. I took it to Dobbs on 12/26/23. They informed me that whoever worked on my truck did not tighten the wheel bearings. St. Louis Diesel will not refund my money or do anything. I highly do not recommend them.

I contacted this retail shop to learn about performance enhancements for my 6.7 cummins. After answering to them, exactly how I use my truck, They recommended and advised that A few things that would greatly enhance the performance of my truck we're not necessary. I found them to be honest And was very surprised at the amount of time they spent with me on the phone. This will be my first stop when I really do need something, Thank you, Jeff very much.

My son was in children's hospital having surgery when I had a friend accidentally break a hold down bolt on one of my injectors. I called this shop and they worked me in immediately. Once they took off the valve cover they found a rocker arm broken. They were really honest and upfront with me and sent pictures of everything. After my truck being there a week and them investing hours into it my motor was damaged beyond repair. I talked to several different shops and they all confirmed exactly what Jeff said. I owed 24000 dollars on my truck and a new motor was 20000 dollars. They only charged me a couple hundred dollars and said they were sorry for how things turned out. They lost money to help me. What a good person and great shop.

I've been doing business with STL diesel for 4 yours now. When something goes wrong with my truck, I take it stl diesel. I know all of them by name and they do a great job. Very reasonable on the pricing. They earned my respect and business. They are very knowledgeable and very polite.

Had a coolant leak, but the not the time to diagnose & fix it. Dropped the truck off midday on monday, they had it diagnosed and fixed less than 24 hours later. Great people, reasonably priced.

I bought a performance kit for my cummins and the staff was very knowledgeable. They know their stuff when it comes to tuning and diagnostics. Great products and service! Everyone in this shop is professional and very helpful. You can truly see a team effort working in this business. I will return with amy of my future business to them and will highly recommend anybody else to look nowhere but STL Diesel.

Rick and the crew were outstanding! my Duramax Had a lot of issues so I had a list. They did everything on my list and then some for me. My truck runs like a Swiss watch. They had my truck for a long time and Rick called me to discuss things as they were being completed and what was next on the list. I'll never take my truck anywhere else.

Spent a few days searching around STL looking for a exhaust for my truck and nobody carried it in stock. Called these guys in the morning one day and they had one in stock exactly what i was looking for. I was dealing with jeff and the process was easy as can be. He even had somebody come deliver it to me within an hour of when i called. Good experience here all the way around.

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They do superb work and their customer service is outstanding. They kept me updated on the progress of my truck and have gone above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this shop especially if you are having diesel problems. But I would bet the service standards are just as good if you have a gasser.

They charged me more than quoted, I think they have one mechanic that knows about Cummins the guys in front are clueless. They put my camshaft housing on without resealing the oil pan, even though they quoted (and charged me) to drop the oil pan and reseal it it was never done. Then when I called them out on it they said it wasn't necessary. The Haynes book and every Cummins forum I saw found it very necessary. I paid 3k for shoty work....o yeah and a stl diesel sticker

Awesome mechanic, Don,listened to my engine and told me exactly what was wrong. What I thought was a blown engine in my truck only cost me 250 dollars and I had it back the same day. This was on January 2nd 2019.

They told me it needed turbos replaced all it needed was a weld on exhaust and a new filterThis makes 2 vehicles they missed the issue onEveryone makes mistakes this is a big one
