I came here for safety and emissions for my car because 3 co-workers let me know they do a quick and amazing job. Let me tell you, they weren't wrong!! I made an appointment for 3pm and was done by 3:20pm! I will definitely be back for the next inspections.

Both front desk and mechanics are curtious and on the ball. Took my new vehichle and my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo there and they did great on both, they WILL find the problem. I only wish I took my jeep there before I paid for electrical issue at different shop, cause they fixed it and it ran like a dream until some guy hit me and totalled my jeep. I had codes showing up on 2015 Trax and they narrowed it down after some mishaps performed at dealership, "where purchased" A1 corrected. Now repaired and issue fixed...alas! Thanks guys!

I had the best experience with them. They really work with you and what you need to have done. I've only been there two times, but they won me over then. They get the job done, and do it right. They always ask to make sure that we're on the same page of what you want done.

My last 2 attempts to get service here were not good .Recently dropped off my car Tuesday afternoon for a Wednesday appointment. Wednesday I called at 5:30 since the car was there all day and they were closing , no one has gotten to your car today I m told and they weren t even calling to say anything .The next day also passed with no call so at 4 pm I call to inquireStill no one has been able to look at my vehicle after 2 full days . Went to pickup car and they had no concern for wasting 2 days of my time for nothing .Seems like they aren t concerned of anyone s time or money anymore.This Used to be a Great place til about 2 years ago something must have happened because service isn t the same anymore .I gave 2 stars because they used to be good .

They are great! My husband needed an oil change and tires. They were able to fit him in right away. I am very pleased with their service. Highly recommend them.

The staff here is friendly and helpful. Like all mechanic shops they stay busy, but they don't use that as an excuse to blow you off.

A1 helped me with my inspections. I had a previous shop tell me I didn t pass so I brought my vehicle in to get the item repaired. A1 let me know my options and redid my inspection and I was on my way. Saved me hundreds of dollars and a big headache. All in a very fast time frame! I highly recommend A1. Thank you A1!

I had to have an emissions done quickly today for the DMV. I wanted to thank the counter person at A-1 and their technicians for doing a great job. I highly recommend this business due to the wonderful customer service!

Could not ask for a better place to take your vehicle. From a simple state inspection/emissions to checking why your check engine light is on. The mechanics always explain everything in detail and what the best option would be. We have had multiple cars worked on for many different reasons over a number of years. They have never suggested any repairs if they are not needed. No matter how many questions we would have they take the time to answer. I know having car issues is not fun and we all hate it when we see that check engine light but you will not regret taking your car here for them to check it out. They make the process as painless and not as expensive as possible!!Services: Auto battery replacement, Auto exhaust system repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, Vehicle safety inspection, Battery, Oil change

DO NOT GO HERE PERIODI took my car here because I had a check engine light on and I told them the code my car was throwing.(P0741 torque converter) They made me pay $105.00 even though I told them what was wrong with it. They called me a couple hrs later and told me it was my transmission and they could get one from Toyota for about $4,900.00 which I couldn't afford. I took it to a transmission guy and he said that A1 was just lazy and didn't want to actually figure out the real problem at they said just put a new transmission in it. Who has just 5,000.00 laying around. So now instead of a 5,000.00 fix its going to cost me 500.00 to replace my converter. Thanks A1 for lying to me and for being lazy and not wanting to actually figure out the real problem. You money hungry business

Very professional, while we were there having some work done they lost internet services- which means no credit cards. They were super polite and understanding, we went and got some cash while we were waiting on repairs to be finished. The lady who runs the show is awesome considering the workload they all deal with and somehow you get the small town familiarity out of a business that has gotten so much bigger than where it began. I'll be going back for sure!

Had a great experience I only got an emissions test done but it took about 30mins but I just walked in with no appointment and was treated great! I will be going back in the future I really hope it's the same service I got the 1st time around

I had some work done here it s been a few weeks if now a year ago have had nothing but electrical issues on my vehicle since blinkers work half the time hazards don t work at all horn works half the time dash light wiring is throwing sparks and I just got home tonight on the way home both tail lights went out checked bulbs Checked fuses no problems there this is all on you A-1 it has been a nightmare when I had the work done (had the blinker system worked on and new horn installed) which they charged me 590 dollars for they said the old factory horn was shot and not even in place took a look under the hood it was not only in place BUT it worked hooked the positive wire to the battery well A-1 you really took me for a heck of a ride I ll be paying you a visit thanks

Fantastic work, every time I go to A1. The work is excellent, and the price is great.....and, they get things done in a timely manner. Great desk staff also! I also had a chance to talk to the boss the other day....he is a fantastic guy .....(I know "good" people when I meet them) ....... he "bends over backwards" to help you out, THANK YOU A1 ! This was thesecond time I've taken a vehicle to them. First time was for a transmission replacement. This time for an alignment. With the transmission, they offered a better deal all the way around. Better warranty, better overall price and much shorter turnaround time on the job then any of the transmission shops around the area.This time was for an alignment and mount and balance of new tires. There was a hiccup. But they made it right at no extra cost to me. I would recommend them to anyone as I am more than happy.

This is by far the best staff and repair shop in the area. They have financing available if you need it and they are quick to get it back to you. They let you know if they run into any problems before they do the work. A absolutely great place to take your vehicle to get it worked on.

I ve gone in for service at this place several times. Every time, they ve been organized with info on my vehicle and what they ve done to it, efficient in giving me all the proper information before and after dropping my vehicle off, and upfront with prices (they always confirm with me before any needed additional services are performed) and exactly what services will be on my bill. Not to mention, they seem like cordial, down-to-Earth people.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Auto maintenance

I have had very bad luck trusting shops in the area lately. I brought my car to A1 Truck and Auto to diagnose a transmission issue. I had taken the car and a brand new transmission to a different shop in the Desoto area. When I picked my car up it had a severe vibration in the drive train, even when idling. I had to have my car towed from this shop. A1 found and confirmed two parts in the drivetrain were installed incorrectly. When I picked up my car all the vibrations were gone. I recommend this company as the other shop told me and I quote, get me another transmission. I paid over 3000 thousand dollars for the transmission. A1 relieved my stress and worked quickly and professionally to address my issue. I am very grateful.

I have no complaints about the quality of the work performed by this business. However, when I dropped off my car, it ran great. When they gave it back, it was in inoperable condition. It wouldn't start without starting fluid, then couldn't even reach 20 mph. I understand that with the nature of the service, this was a possible result.The problem is that I wasn't notified of this new problem. I was handed to key to a car that wouldn't start without starting fluid, as the fuel delivery system had shorted out and wasn't operating. The employees acted as if there was no problem that I should be aware of, even though I was told after seeking answers that starting fluid was needed just to move it to the front of the building, so they knew. This is concerning because it makes me wonder how far the attitude of "what the customer doesn't know won't hurt them" may go within the shop. If I was told, I would have been disappointed but completely understanding, and not anywhere near as upset as I was after getting in an inoperable car that I fully expected to start up and drive home. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to be notified when a repair doesn't have a favorable result

2 years ago I was very happy with the work that was done and now not so happy. I told the technician working on my truck that the lift kit was coming off and make sure he left me room too remove things and the shocks now I have to take it back in Monday morning to have them redo it again because my new shocks wouldn't go on my truck because of no room to work with.Monday February 21st 2022Called A-1 TRUCK and spoke with a very nice young lady told her my problems and she took my number and said she would work on getting things taken care and would call me back, 10 minutes later she called back and asked if I could bring my truck back in after 1:00 today and of course I showed up and the technician totally removed everything and started out fresh and I watched and pointed out were I needed the exhaust to go without having any problems down the road when my new parts finally come in.Now all I can say is true artwork when the technician slowed down and bent the exhaust pipe turned out great Now A-1 has my trust back with them on doing a great job customizing my exhaust work .I even took a picture as to how good the work turned out just need to find out how to post it on here, that's how happy I am now.
