The service was fast and very reliable. The Mutrux family run business makes everyone feel at home and comfortable. They provide transportation to and from the shop, which is a plus for someone who is visiting Columbia and has no family or friends in the area to rely on. I would actually give Ross and Cindy (the owners) ten stars if it was possible. They are just that good. Signed, satisfied customer!!!

Everyone there is great especially Cindy and Ross!!!! I had a flat and I was close by, they made it work and fit me in right away to get checked out. When the tire couldn t be fixed, he put the spare on and fixed me on my way. Such family oriented place, customer service is just the best. I definitely would recommend Mutrux for all your needs!!!

Had a very good experience bringing my Toyota Tacoma to their shop! Ross and Cindy made me feel at home as if I was family,and even went above and beyond with concierge service,which I will be ever grateful. I will be returning for Future Service!

As one of the very few full-service stations left in the area, the Mutrux Automotive/Sinclair team is definitely customer service oriented. Ready to top off the tank as soon as you pull up. No need for you to get out of your auto unless you want to stretch your legs! Air pump for tires available and easily accessed. I also depend on them for auto repairs, tire service, and state inspections. They keep me informed of any unexpected findings and price check on my behalf as needed. Efficient, quality service.

I am always extremely impressed by Mutrux s services. But what really separates them from the competition is the kindness of the boss and all the workers. They are an incredibly friendly and helpful group that always goes the extra mile to please their customers. I had a flat late in the day yesterday and they were booked solid with appointments, but they didn t turn me away. They were able to help fix my tire, which is great because I have a road trip planned for the weekend. And the older gentleman in the Navy hat, unfortunately I didn t get his name, gave me a ride to my house because he didn t want me to have to walk in the rain . I enjoyed talking with him about his life and our mutual appreciation of old country music. I can t recommend Mutrux enough for their dedication, friendliness, professionalism, and quality of service. Keep it up, Mutrux!Service: Tires

I've been taking my vehicles to Ross almost since the day he opened his shop, over 20 years ago. It is always a pleasure to do business with Mutrux Automotive. Ross and Cindy run their business like they want your business. The repairs are done right at a fair price, and they don't try to sell you a bunch of other, questionable, services that you may or may not need. They assesses the vehicle and tell you what they recommends, then they expertly do the work that you approve. And they always have a smiling face to pump gas and check your tires. I ve been to mutrux several times for oil change, inspection, tire balance, etc and they re always very nice but the prices are outrageous. $209 to replace my spark plugs on my 07 Corolla. When I arrived they could not give me an estimate on the service I wanted because he isn t a mechanic . Well $150 in labor alone (my car was At the shop for less than three hours), and even more to turn off a light or something I never asked them to. The explanation of the price wasn t very helpful over the phone. I also asked them to not roll down my window (it s off track) and they did. I was recommended them by a friend and they re close to my job but I will say I will not be returning. It sucks because I want to support small and local business but I well be taking my car elsewhere with more affordable, honest prices.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I went in at 7 in the morning it was done by 3 that day for an oil change, and alternator checked and diagnosed. I didn t get up sold any products or pushed things that don t need fixing. A great level of customer service and professionalism from everyone I talked to. Oil change was a tad pricey but average as it can be for someone too busy (in my case, but laziness for most others) to change it themselves.I would recommend this to a friend for customer service alone. Thanks guys saved me a couple hours I didn t have for myself.Service: Oil change

Outrageous prices for repairs. Took my wife s vehicle in for a inspection. They said they could not pass the inspection and quoted me just over 2K for the repairs. I ended up taking it to the Toyota dealership in town ( for a second opinion). The repairs cost just under $700 and passed inspection. After my experience there, I asked a few friends ( who are from Columbia) about this business. They also told me that a lot of people do say that they are very overpriced when it comes to repairs.

Important for a woman to find a place that takes care of your mechanical issues without any concerns with being taken advantage of financially or otherwise... Accommodating, courteous, honest service is what I experienced. Estimated cost was double what I was charged and was super impressed with the small town service I felt like I had received from this family's business. Highly recommend.

Solid work! Ross and his crew are friendly, informative, and go above and beyond to get your vehicle in and fixed a.s.a.p. We've been taking all of our family vehicles there for almost 10 years and have not had a complaint yet.

Honest, trustworthy, dependable, fast and efficient, and very friendly! My family has been taking our cars there for over 8 years and have never had a bad experience. The only place in Columbia that pumps your gas, checks your oil and tire pressure with a SMILE and great attitude.

Ross has been providing me stellar service since I moved here and I'm glad I found him. I usually have a pretty good idea of what parts should cost and he always quotes right on the money. Fast and reliable and willing to work with you. I appreciate these guys so much.

Called everywhere to find a mechanic that would be able to checkout my a car before I purchased it. When I called, they were obviously very busy, but they made it a priority to get me in time before I had to go to work. Wonderful customer service! Best Customer Service in town! Brought my 13 Altima w/ 115K miles to get MVI inspection had recently experienced a slight hesitation when car accelerated from a standstill. Now my car runs like new. Thank you to Ross, Cindy and staff for always looking out for me and my vehicles health.

Ross is very professional and has always been excellent to work with. I use this shop a lot with my car dealership business and I have always been well taken care of. He gives great recommendations on the entire vehicle but let s you decide what to do. Great place.

Took my wife's car in for an inspection today. It worked fine - drove and started just fine prior to taking it in. But we come to pick it up and it doesn't start. Seems electrical as the dashboard doesn't light up - this is while it's still sitting in their parking lot. They jumped her car and said to check with oreillys (where we recently bought her battery from 2 weeks ago). I turn the car off and try to restart it - nothing. I think it was just the anti-theft system was triggered so I just reset the battery - and it starts fine...However, I went inside and told them about the problem - asked what all they did during the inspection - and asked what we should do of we drive it off the lot and this issue comes back up and something more problematic seems to be going on. Seemed like a reasonable inquiry to me. I was immediately turned away - the person at the counter got defensive and asked me why I was telling them they were running a bad business - ultimately told me if something else happens take the battery back to oreillys.The car worked fine prior to taking it in. They took it into their shop - and it didn't start immediately after they inspected in. Logically, this suggests something happened during the inspection (to be clear - I'm not saying something did happen - just that the situation made it seem as such). I dont think I was in the wrong to question them.But their defensiveness - and later we got a call on the phone asking us to take our car elsewhere for work - is a little concerning. This behavior, at the very least, may suggest an unwillingness to work with their customers and resolve issues of this sort if (and when) they arise.The car seems to be working fine now - and it seems like the issue was just the anti-theft system triggering. So this interaction could simply be chalked up to an unfortunate misunderstanding. But I think their response to the ordeal stands on its own.

Very Impressed with their Honesty! Car wasn't starting, so I had it towed to their shop, and I was thinking it was the fuel pump or some type of injector causing the problems, but they said it was just bad gasoline. They could have easily told me they had to replace some fuel components like other shops in town, but they chose to be truthful and didn't take advantage of the situation. Will be going back to them for everything now. It's hard to find Good Honest Mechanic's in today's society. Thanks Again Guys!

The people here are amazing. They had closed the shop at 12 but I happened to call @5 min after and the owner himself said he would wait for me. He also didn't just pass it he gave me a list of things that down the road would need to be taken care of but he in NO way pressured me to have it done there. I always get my gas there, they are the only full service station I know of and I have NEVER encountered an employee that wasn't friendly and professional. Also, I know a number of people that go there because they don't tell you that you need a bunch of things and take advantage of people who have no mechanical no how. I will never go anywhere else or recommend another service/automotive station besides this one. Thank you all for your assistance you are all wonderful! Sincerely, Stephanie Dwyer

This is the only auto shop that my husband and I will take our vehicles to while we live in Columbia. We have taken our vehicles to them multiple times and have never been disappointed. They are trustworthy, customer service oriented, and very knowledgeable. The shop manager, Ross, went above and beyond when I came in to pick up my vehicle right at closing time. My wife and daughters waited in the car while I picked up my truck. It was snowing, and suddenly their car died and wouldn't restart. Ross came out in the snow and got us all back on the road even though it was after their closing time by the time he finished. Superior costumer care!

I had to wear a mask to protect myself from gas attendant. Feel bad for all the other people they are probably spreading the virulant strain of virus to.Also I was waiting by my pump and a lady drove past me to other side and was waited on first.
