From the second I called up here for a queot to the second I got to the shop they were all very professional and very knowledgeable! They were able to get me in same day! They also got me pulled in the garage within 5 mins of being here! The work was very professional and up to my standards I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done, for a fast and fair price!

I'm passing thriving to see family for the holidays and had a driveline issue with my Toyota on the highway. They managed to fit me in to find and solve my problem quickly and get me back on the road within 2 hours! It was a massive inconvenience for them but they saved my trip.

Good people doing good work at a good price.Having retired back to Columbia, I asked a fellow truck owner where to take my truck. He said, "Take it to Como Auto Repair. I used this business a few days ago and I had a phenomenal experience. The window on the driver back side of my car kept falling down and I needed it fixed immediately because of rain coming. I called many places in town and they wouldn t be able to look at it until the next week. One of the places I called ended up recommending COMO Auto Repair. I was hesitant because taking my car to a new place is sometimes worrisome. I called and Linda answered the phone and she was so sweet and said they could park it in the garage for the night and it would be done the next day. All of a sudden, my worries were gone. My car window needed a new regulator and motor. This place is very honest and I will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks for saying YES when other businesses said no.

I want to thank Linda and the mechanics for such excellent service. I was visiting my cousin in Columbia and had car trouble. She recommended Como and they were every bit honest, reliable, accurate diagnosis and fair pricing and took me last minute on a drive in with a busy service area. !Can't ask for any better than that!Family business that treats you like family... and car was ready that afternoon. ! Highly can recommend.

Replaced my catalytic converter on my 02 corolla in no time with a very reasonable price. It's been about 3 weeks and my car runs better than ever from the day that I picked it up from como auto

I took my car to get it reinspected and honest to goodness I would keep using this coming. They are so professional and tell you what it will be to cost and the cost is not that bad. I 100% found the place to take my car from now on and they are my mechanics as well. If you haven't given them a chance please do. You will not be disappointed.

I have had a few experiences with Como Auto Repair, and what I like most about them is that they will hang with you to get to the root of an issue and then actually FIX it!As a female car owner, I always worry whether I'm being told the truth when I have to go to an auto repair shop. However, with Como Auto Repair I don't have this concern, as they will be hands on with you and show you exactly what's wrong so you can see it too, and then offer options for repair. This facilitates much more trust.

I was in town passing through and had what I thought was a major issue with the wheel bearing. I called and explained my situation, and even though they were extremely busy, they let me squeeze in to determine the problem, and after just a few minutes, they found a bolt had fallen into my wheel bearing, and it was making a horrible noise, but nothing needed to be done other than remove the obstruction. This is a very honest company and help me in my time of need. Thank you very much.Service: Tires

I was on a road trip and had an accident on the way. Exhaust pipe was basically destroyed. I was able to bring it to Mike at Como Auto where it was seen right away and fixed in an hour. Price was good and service was great. Back on the road faster than I could have ever imagined! 10/10 recommend!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Paid almost 80$ because my car was squeezing after they said it was fixed it still squeaked so I took it back and instead of correcting their mistake they finessed me out of another 30 something dollars or else I couldn't get my car back. It still squeaked after that so I had a master mechanic look at it. It took him 5 minutes not hours and he did it for free because "of how easy and fast of a fix it was" and he came in the middle of the night freezing cold whether. Would definitely reccomend that guy if you want his information HML.

I don t recommend going here for your a/c, told them the first time there was a leak and they didn t fix it then charged me for Freon and for plugging the a/c thing in. A/c went out again not even a week later, got charged for them patching the leak, which is what they should ve done the first time, and I got charged for more Freon on top of it. My a/c went out again like a month later. I m not going back to them because I ll get charged again and I doubt it will properly get fixed. It feels like a scam or something because it never properly gets fixed then I have to spend $100+ repeatedly. I barley put miles on my car and I take care of it so there s no reason on my behalf why it continues to go out.

We travel 30 miles one way to do business with Como Auto and it's worth it! They have been very honest with us with very reasonable prices. They don't try to upsell you on extra services. I've taken 2 of my cars, 3 of my kid's cars, and the in-laws car there and have been very happy every time. The folks here are friendly and highly professional. My check engine light came on in the middle of a very long drive. They treated my situation urgently, explained the diagnosis thoroughly, and charged me fairly. If you need a mechanic in this area, Como deserves your business.

Had two vehicles worked on in the last month. Very easy folks to work with and Scott the owner is very knowledgeable. Trust me when I say that there are mechanic shops here in Columbia that will flat out lie and try to make repairs that are unneeded and you are throwing hard earned money at them. I truly believe that Como Auto Repair are honest hard working folks also and are very reasonably priced.

So for the past few weeks I ve been smelling antifreeze after my car had been running for a while. My father in law and I looked around to try and see what was leaking. We thought it was the water pump or there about. Glad it wasn t the radiator or anything more expensive to fix. My water pump is down under the motor and tough to get to so I knew it would be expensive to fix. I haven t had anytime take it anywhere and I really didn t have the money with it being Christmas time. It had to be done tho, I m about to put a few thousand miles on it with traveling this Christmas time and dr appointments in different cities. The only time I could get it fixed was Thursday/Friday before the week of Christmas but I needed it back before the weekend. I went in to get a quote of what it would cost to fix, I don t know why, this was the only place that I could really take it to. The closest place to my house as I had to walk home after dropping it off and walk back to get it. Maybe a half a mile so wasn t bad. I told them what I thought it was and got a quote of over $500 which I kinda thought it would be around that. I said that s fine I guess, it needs to be fixed. They called me back about 5 hours later and it was done. I asked how much it was and was told $127 and some change. I exclaimed what !!!!! Thinking they told me the wrong total. She then informed me that they wanted to make sure it was the actual water pump before replacing it and discovered that it was actually the thermostat housing. They saved me around $400 and it was a Christmas present in and of itself. Other shops would ve replaced the water pump because that s what I thought it was without looking around. Yea they could ve done that also and gotten more money out of me. They didn t. I have never had to leave my car here overnight (but nothing ever majorly wrong) but Everytime I go in, they get me in and out as quick as they can. Professional, courteous, all about the customers, nice clean waiting area if you need to wait, and very nice employees. 10/10 would recommend and would gladly go to again. Very professional. Went in for an inspection and they tightened up my steering. Big difference here is they saw something needed fixed or adjusted and they did it free of charge. I have had this Truck inspected every year for 8 years and never had a clue that my steering was needing adjustment. Today was my third visit to Como Repair and no complaints! My car was fixed at half of the price my dealership wanted to charge me. I've used other local auto repair companies in the past but no more! These folks are knowledgeable and professional and get it done fast. And... you wanna talk about great customer service, I was given a ride when I didn't have one. Outstanding!!!!

My kids and I were had just started a road trip from STL to Denver but had car trouble in Columbia. Scott and Linda did everything possible to get us safely back on the road ASAP. Great work from even better people! Highly recommend.

I just moved from out-of-state and I was worried about finding a repair shop I could trust. My car inspection revealed a repair and I was quoted a fair price. When I called to check on the progress I was happy to find that they were able to make the repair without having to use the quoted parts. They were honest about only needing to charge me for their labor and they were great to work with. A+ in my book and I will be going back in the future.

This is the best place in town. Scott and Matt always get my truck in quickly and do exactly what they say. Never have I felt like they were telling me to fix extra stuff. Linda is super nice and always makes me feel welcome while waiting to get my truck fixed!

Poor customer service. Talked to them about needing new front end parts. They agreed to use mine, turns out they were the wrong part. But they put the parts on anyways instead of telling me they were not right. Waste of time. Find a better place. Not worth going to unless you like being ripped off

Awesome.Went in, briefly described my issue. He got me in quickly, diagnosed the problem in record time, gave me a very fair quote and finished the job in excellent time. As a former mechanic, I am highly satisfied with the work done and the service provided.From now on, when in Columbia, MOI'm going to Como!

Took my car in to have the sunroof fixed because it was going to be raining heavily for about another week. (don t you love missouri?) they gave me the cheapest fix because the real issue and fix would be way too expensive. Only paid around $30. Honest and reliable. Not out to get your money.

I had my exhaust system serviced here, one of the best car service experience that I have ever had. The mechanic has years of skills and knowledge to get the job done perfectly!! They also offer the professional suggestions based on the best interests of the customers!! Highly recommend!

They had the car for 2 weeks for them to charge us 578$ To not be able to tell us what was wrong with the car. Scott would say he would do a list of things to try and resolve the issue and we would call the next day and nothing would be done. Gave them one last chance and he said he would call us back by noon the next day. We called them at 4 and he said he wasn t going to fix it. Waste of money and time.
