I m pleased to say the team at camping world in Columbia is very accommodating and personable with us while looking for camper set up. I would love for Scott weaver to know how much he meant to us it was like my dad up there trying to make sure we picked the right set up for the family of five. OUR 3 kids approved we have just what we need for the future of hunting and fishing in Missouri and national bound thank you so much we recommend you! You are very knowledgeable about different camper set ups and warranty's you re not just a salesman you are very compassionate and it shows! THANK YOU

I started my communication with Scott Weaver in October of 2023, he had me in a camper within my price range and exactly what my family needed by November! He has made this whole process a breeze! I have leaned on him more than once when I needed accessories for the camper since November and he has help me every step of the way. He didn t sell me any crud, and didn t leave me high and dry after the purchase. He has been more than just professional, but has treated me like I was already apart of the Camping World family! I have recommended him to a friend of mine after her seeing my camper and she looks to be purchasing directly through Scott from Camping World in Columbia. The experience you ve described is worth the drive! she said. I will always shop through Scott at camping world for all my camping/rv needs! All of the staff there are a delight.

Will Bryan was amazing! Patient, funny and a good sport. Spent all day showing us the pros and cons of different campers. We finally narrowed down what we wanted and he continued to take us back and forth in good spirits as we made the final decision. Couldn't have asked for a better, more honest person to help us out

We are in need of brakes for our fifth wheel camper. It's not a new camper so we went to the Camping World in Columbia MO. We took the brake from our camper with us to make sure we could get the correct one. They only had 3 for our camper and told us to order online. We ordered online and the brakes we received did not match the bolt pattern to our camper. We did not put them on the camper only matched them to the brake that we removed. I called the Columbia location to let them know and to ask them if I could bring them back in store for a refund or an exchange for the correct brakes. They said as long as we did not install them then there should not be a problem. My husband took them back the next morning and they would not issue a refund but only an instore credit. The brakes we need are quite alot more through them than we paid for the incorrect ones. We not able to get them this year because they are $797.00 verses $219.00. Policy shows that they will issue a refund in the form of a check or instore credit. When I called customer service, the online side of customer sevice could not help me because they were returned in store and the retail side of customer service could not help me as I purchased them online. I don't go to camping world normally as they are over priced on their stuff and they are not that helpful when I go there. I definitely won't be returning to camping world once my in store credit is used. Sincerely, Not a happy camper!!

I ve waited over two months for them to call or even reach out about cancelling my extended warranty. Under said warranty the AC unit went out after 1 year of ownership. Purchased brand new. My old AC unit has been in their possession for a month and no one seems to to think of updating or responding. Save your money and buy a 2 year old camper and save 50-60% in price.

Buy a camper from anyone but these guys. Showed up from out of state to get my camper and as I am signing my papers they "accidentally " forgot to tell me I had to have a paper insurance verification before I could take my camper. But the luckily already had a paper for me to sign and a company I could call to get temporary insurance on a camper I had already had insurance on. These clowns are scam artist. They did not even fill up the propane bottles asadvertised

Talk about two completely different experiences. Christina at the service desk handled all the communication with me. From setting up the inspection, communicating the estimate, and completing the follow up. She was absolutely amazing the entire time. However, whoever the service tech was that worked on my camper was as far on the other end of the spectrum you can get. From damaging the bottom of my slide out, to leaving the entire inside of the camper trashed. Complete utter disrespect for someone's property. Do not have your equipment worked on at the Columbia, MO location.Christina documented the damage and the disaster on the inside of my camper that the tech left. Apparently this wasn't the first complaint on the same issue. We shall see if the company makes this right. At the moment, however, do no take your equipment to be worked on here. Terrible.

We had the most amazing experience. Our journey with this dealer started years ago with less than stellar outcome -HOWEVER this time they knocked it out of the park - Home Run !!!! This was our 6th time purchasing a camper - so it goes to reason that we would have very specific your not going to find this camper requirements - Well a guy named Will Bryan did!!! All of them - this is our dream camper - the no way you will find all the things - no such thing as a perfect camper - Will found the perfect camper -I still can t believe it - I can not say enough great things about our experience - from the beginning - follow- up, delivery, - I am fully aware of the reputation of this company and believe me - I was like no way, not ever - I am beyond grateful that I gave them a second chance - as we now have our dream camper - 2019 Montana High Country 305RL - Thank you Will Bryan and everyone at this location - for a no stress, fun day of getting our Cindy Lou Who -

Pulled into their location needing at least a battery. Was informed that I'd have to make an appointment. No, how are you and what can we help you with! Just "Make and appointment". This is how customers leave a business with no customer service. There is nothing you could do at this point, but you did leave 3 hours of labor charge going down the road and therefor a $ loss for your P&L. People traveling through your area and needing help should stay away from this location as they just like their locals that "Make an appointment".

Our experience with Camping World was surprisingly positive. I went in with the expectation that this is a big corporate business that would bully us into a purchase and then lie about all the promises they made. NOT THE CASE!! We negotiated on a used 2016 Redwood that was exactly what we had been looking for. The deal was AS IS however and at first I was nervous about this, but was re-assured that before it left the lot everything would be in working order. After the walk through, there were just a few items that needed attention. When we pulled it off the lot, everything was perfect. Either repaired or replaced at their expense. I cannot believe we received such service. Oh and the guy who did the walk through, Mike Ward, was awesome in explaining everything and fixing what needed to be fixed. If you plan on buying a camper soon, see Salesman Eric Meyers, he will be honest and up front about everything. From the head guy making the decisions down to finance, service and etc., this place has greatly improved in the last few years. I will do all my business here down the road as long as things remain like they are. We spent a lot of money on our fifth wheel, but feel comfortable it will serve us well. Thanks to all the staff at Camping World. Chris and Lynne Harris

The sales crew totally misread us. We just sold a farm and I assure you we could pay cash for anything on their lot. I'm not going to tell any sales crew how much money I have but did let him know we wanted a used motorhome hopefully in the $60,000 area. He showed us 1 home about the size of a VW. Just a bad experience. Oh well their loss.

Fixed my camper but less than 500 miles later it lost leaf springs and was messed up again. Didn t honor warranty, making my life hell to get money back. WILL NOT RESPOND TO REQUESTS TO REFUND ME THE WORST TYPE OF PLACE YOU CAN TAKE YOUR CAMPER TO. Dishonest, poor workmanship, zero integrity. DO NOT BRING YOUR REPAIRS HERE!

Just bought our first camper here today!! Wonderful staff, salesmale ( charles) was amazing with making sure we was satisfied with everything. The service guy ( Todd I think was his name) made sure we understood everything in the camper inside and out!! When we decide to upgrade we definitely will be back here!!! Thanks guys

There are a lot of things you need for your RV! Many nice new and used rvs and campers on the lot. Helpful staff. Overpriced propane, not even close to competitive.

Bought our dream camper last June from Camping World in Columbia,MO. Keystone Montana High Country. The shop has had our camper more than we have. 3 times back and one time over 3 months. Every time they had it nothing was ever fixed right. Started with AC which never blew hard enough to cool living area, broken closet coming apart, missing and hanging trim, inverter, bed base came apart, power cord only ran half of camper, screws all fell out when we opened the outside storage door. These should be easily fixed but when we went topick it up it looked like they were fixed but they were only made to look like that. Always said nothing is wrong with AC but couldn t explain to us why it was always 15 degrees hotter in there than what the thermostat was set on. Inverter never worked so when we were taking a 6 hour trip we stopped by to have it looked at and they said it was no good and needed a new one. Of course this was 5 days out of warranty and then lied and said they had no complaints from us on that. Closet and trim were suppose to all be fixed with new stuff from warranty but came apart on our next trip. Talked to Mike Beasley manager and he informed me that we would have to purchase a new inverter ourselves that would cost us $1200. . He got very hateful and disrespectful saying that I would have to call Keystone they weren t going to do anything about it. That we didn t put them together we only sell them! Called Keystone and they said Camping World service manager, Mikayla had not put any of this in her notes from these issues so they denied a new inverter. She informed me every time that she put all this stuff in her notes but when it came right down to it she had not or deleted them. Horrible customer service and a weasel of a manager. I have pictures to back up these issues. Never buy from Camping World in Columbia, MO. High pressure sales and they are only in it for the money and don t care about the customer.

This might be the worst buying experience in all of my 54 years. The finance guy Doug Santos acted completely perplexed when quizzing him about the fees associated with financing. He also tried to sell us every Good Sam package available and was pushy. When I refused the packages I got a horrible attitude and he just basically refused to work with us. Beware they charge every customer $795 to run a new camper through THEIR shop to fix any dings, scratches or anything that is wrong. Shouldn't that have already been done before it was put on the lot? Why am I paying for that!? We needed a sway bar on the paperwork they were going to charge us $995 yet when we walked back to THEIR parts department they sell the exact one for $495. We negotiated it to zero but buyer beware!! The salesman claimed we had to listen to a pitch and get a quote from Good Sam insurance. He wanted our phone and dialed the number. What a circus. They were super pushy about getting insurance established BEFORE we ever talked to finance. Now, the paperwork. We got a copy of the title application the total price they placed on the title was the selling price + freight ($795) + new unit prep a.k.a. running it through their shop ($795). We stopped by the Missouri DMV just to be sure this was not correct and sure enough Missouri only charges tax on the selling price. We called Doug in finance and again just got blown off. This is a nightmare.Long story longer, save yourself the hassle and headache. This place is full of ripoffs and staff that really couldn't care less about the customer.EDIT: After all this hassle and putting a down payment of $4500 we pulled the plug. After being told we were the ONLY customers to check with the DMV on what they were placing as the selling price that was a no go. This place is THE WORST business I've ever dealt with. If I can't trust them to do the paperwork correctly I can't imagine what would happen if there would be a problem down the road. Also amazing how Mr Santos had his family and friends come back after my initial review and give glowing reviews. BUYER BEWARE!

We brought our trailer in for repairs thinking that the services would be timely and that the work would be done properly. To our great dissatisfaction we were disappointed. To begin with, we scheduled an appointment with in advance and they took over a week to look at it not sure what the purpose of scheduling with them is if they can t keep a schedule themselves. An edit to my previous post- work we thought was completed was not completed due to the company not being able to order parts. That does not excuse how long it took them to even look at it or how ridiculous the diagnosis charges were for confirming very obvious issues

Expect 4 - 5 service trips to get anything done and then expect to have to call them 3 -4 times on each service ticket to get a response.10/13/23 UPDATEReduced to 1 star because they failed to follow up again on a prt that they didn't fix correctly in the first place.

Bought a used 2014 trailer that they said was in perfect working order. The first time we used it the slide out broke and the entire contents of the black tank leaked into the underbelly of the camper. Luckily we purchased the extended warranty or else we would've been out of luck. There is still no guarantee that it will be covered so will update later. Don't trust this slimy dealership. They claim to inspect the units but clearly do not. Now were out a 250 dollar deductible and missing weekends we planned on camping. Would rate them negative stars if I could.

The service department at this Camping World in Columbia, MO is excellent. As I told them, there is something different here than at others. Kind, generous, empathetic, and committed to getting to the root problem of the issue with their deep knowledge and desire to help set them apart. Major Kudos to Lead Service Advisor Mikela Howell and service technician Billy who attacked my 2-year plumbing problem with all they had. Mike, the service manager, has set a culture here that makes it a pleasure to do business with the entire team. Thanks to you all!

My husband and I purchased a 2019 Premier 34 ft travel trailer by Keystone from Camping World of Mid Missouri after looking at numerous RV dealers throughout Missouri and several other states. Our salesman, Dan Oswald showed us several RV's and patiently helped us while we were asking questions and trying to make up our minds on which RV to select from the hundreds that were available. Through Dan's efforts we were able to select the one that best fit our needs with lots of extras at a great price that no other dealer could provide. We thoroughly love our new toy and looking forward to new adventures as we travel throughout the U.S .and Canada over the next several years enjoying our retirement.

We are a returning customer of Camping World. We decided to go larger because of our grandkids. Mike Vanover was totally awesome. If he didn't know the answer, he made sure to find out for us. I admit it was a little scary, but with the help of Mike Vanover in Sales, Mike the Service Tec.and Doug in Finance. I would not have a larger RV. Also, a big thanks to General Manager Mike Slink, who runs a good store. Keep up the great job, guys. Word of mouth is a wonderful concept.

AMAZING!!! We were traveling from Montana to Florida when our transfer switch broke on the generator. We were 3 hours away and Gander was the only place that had one in stock....trying to get there before closing did not happen so not only did Jeff from parts stay late, he delivered the part as soon as we pulled up to the front door. Everyone we spoke with was amazingly helpful and I can not recommend Gander RV enough!!! Thank you thank you!!! (Our dog and 3 year old even got some much needed parking lot play time while daddy fixed the RV)

Was signing on a used 2019 listed at 24k...after Ben got done with all the sales pitches...and extended warrenties....it was 57k. We backed out. This salesman even LIED to United Credit Union trying to make the sale stick by telling them we had already taken possession and took camper off the lot...which we had NOT! Can't do business with liars. Then after we declined they kept calling the next day trying pressure tactics.. And I'm not just talking one person making one phone call...three different people and 5 separate calls. The only reason I even gave them a 2 star rate was the fact they had a large inventory to show.
