We worked with Cole and the team at All-Star Automotive and they were fantastic to work with! We had a few issues that we needed them to take care of on our Jeep Wrangler and Cole went above and beyond doing research on the best way to address a problem with our driveshaft replacement. We will absolutely use them again and my wife even wants to bring our other cars there. Thanks again Cole!

Great experience!! Originally went in because I had gotten a new battery from auto zone and my car was immediately acting up. Auto zone told me that it was my alternator and tried to sell me one without even testing it first. I went to all-star and they did a full testing of everything and determined it was in fact the battery that was faulty. I appreciated how detail-oriented they were with the entire process and being extremely patient with me over the two weeks plus more that was taken to try and get a new battery from auto zone. I felt very valued as a customer there and I feel like the whole team actually takes the time to listen to your concerns and opinions. Overall amazing experience and will definitely be coming back if/when I have another car problem. :) Definitely recommend to any college student that lives on campus or in the city. Thank you Joe and the rest of the amazing team!

****EDIT****After seeing this review Joe reached out to me personally and made this right. There was no hassle or trying to deny or hide what had happened, and gave a true GENUINE apology. I can give him, and Devin 5 stars for their customer service.This place is okay for a basic oil change and even then you are taking a risk. Just got my car back from Hyundai with a new motor because your "techs" do not know what they are doing. $1200 down the drain because you said the valve cover casket was leaking, then put a defective valve cover casket on which caused more damage. Then took it back and your "tech" said head casket... nope still the valve cover casket that was defective. This place will nickel and dime you. Just take your cars to the dealerships. Cheaper in the long run.

Highly recommend this auto shop! Brian and Cole at the front desk provided excellent customer service. They were friendly, knowledgeabl and made the entire experience stress-free. I won't hesitate to come back again.

Got me in last minute for an inspection and were quick with the job. $60 labor for a quite accessible $6 light but the guys were really nice and they included pictures of everything they saw that needed work which was really cool. They didn't try to upsell me on work that wasn t needed but that work that was needed was wildly expensive. Decent place, nice people. Happy Holidays!

My starter went out. They won't give me a quote on replacing my starter. Every other place I've called has given me a quote. As a consumer, I have the right to shop for a good price. These people honestly expect me to tow my car place to place to get quotes? I will never use your services. I know what's wrong with my car.

I have been a customer of All-Star Automotive for 15 years and as long as I live in COMO and have a car i will take it there when it needs service. They are professional, friendly and do great work. The shuttle service is a very nice benefit as well.

All-Star Automotive is wonderful!!! My daughter is away at college, so I can t get to her quickly if something goes wrong with her car but All-Star did. We ve had to use their services a couple of times in the past 2.5 years and each time was a great experience. They were able to get us in and complete our service needs same day. The interactions with staff were very professional. The price was very reasonable for what we had done and the thoroughness of their complete inspection is TOP NOTCH. Prices didn't add up on receipt right. Didn't give me my 10% off of 1140.00 only 75.00 off and had an attitude when I ask them to explain my total. And it didn't calculate up eight when they did it. Better have Car shield or something cause they will get you l I ke they got me neva again.

My Son is currently enrolled at Mizzou and living in Columbia.. Our home town isn t too far away in Union,Mo. but it is a couple of hours drive. He experienced from serious brake issues with his truck. New to Columbia we had no clue as to where to go, who to trust with my sons truck, especially with brake issues. We search online and so ALL-STAR AUTOMOTIVE and took a chance going off reviews. Well, they are everything that the reviews say. They took care of us as they do for ALL of their customers. It is most definitely a huge Peace of Mind to know we have a garage in Columbia that we can trust, count on. I've used All Star for years and always had great experiences- the pick up and drop off is really convenient and helpful for me, everyone has always been very friendly, I love that they have Saturdays off so they can enjoy their lives- but this shout out is for Brian specifically! I got very overwhelmed with the services my car needed, and he took the time to walk me through what my car needed, and since I can't afford it all at once, helped me prioritize what my car needs first, and then what I should do next when I can afford it. He even explained what the services ARE and what they do and why they matter. Most places don't do that! I really appreciate it. Choose All- Star- you won't regret it!

Awesome experience. Would highly recommend to anyone. Prompt service and excellent communication. Not only didn't they bring my CRV back to life, they saved me money by pointing out an issue with my tires. Long story short, I had a tire shop in town put 4 new tires and complete an alignment 2 days prior to All-Star taking a look at my CRV. All-Star noticed tire wear and recommend an alignment and rotation. I took my crv back to the tire shop and they admitted that they didn't complete the alignment. All-Star doing their part in the industry to help consumers feel safe. This would have been a perfect time to bash others in the industry but the All-Star employees took the high road and were very professional and kind.

All-Star Automotive is my favorite place to go when I need automotive service that can t be beat! I was most recently there for a safety inspection on my van. The process was smooth, fast and very comprehensive! Bryan and Cole for example, with their friendly attitudes and professional attention to detail, were only part of the amazing service team that they have at All-Star Automotive. They have a rock solid shuttle service that they do not charge for and if you re lucky, you will get to meet their driver, Charles! Super friendly person, and very professional! All in all, I was very satisfied, and I will definitely continue to take my business to All-Star Automotive Service! Thanks again!

DON'T GO HERE! They used to do a decent job in the past, but not anymore! Took my car in for a standard oil change, got my brakes test since I heard metal on metal when applying the brakes, and a wheel alignment. For starters, it took them from 8am until 5pm to get this done. Next, they then claim they replaced my spark plugs, did an induction system cleaning, bled my brake fluid and flushed my transmission fluid (which I specifically told them NOT to do since it could potentially damage my transmission) ALL without my consent. I even told them specifically not to do anything extra, and I came back to a bill hundreds of dollars more than what I was expecting. They charged just under $80 to do the oil change, which is obscene since it only cost $45 last year and over $150 for each of the other things listed above (also terrible). They also claimed I needed a new cabin air filter, which is just cute because I just got it replaced only a month ago. If they're lying to me about a cabin air filter, how the hell can I trust that they even did all this other nonconsented work on my car?Another thing that I hate about this place is that they will consistently hound you for months to keep giving them a review over the phone, and it really made me uncomfortable. I was receiving texts and phone calls when I didn't respond to the texts from them at least once a month (even after I explicitly told them to leave me alone).

My 16 year old son bought his first car from a dealership in KC. Said dealership did not disclose the many severe and dangerous issues as well as falsified an inspection. Luckily, my son knew well enough that he needed shocks and struts so we took the car to All Star. The friendly, knowledgeable staff was able to show us just how unsafe the car was. They could have very easily been shady and fixed "this and that" to get money out of us, but their obvious honesty and sincere worry for our well being was very prevalent and said any work they did would not fix the issues. Needless to say, we're contacting the dealership in KC. Thank you, All Star! We will be buying a different car locally and will be back for an inspection before purchase!Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Vehicle Inspection

Brought a loose flat tire in for a fix! I was in-and-out in a few hours, no problem. Price for repair was reasonable. They even loaded the fixed tire into my car for me! Checked in via text to make sure everything went well.Service: TiresService: Tires

My truck broke down outside of Columbia right around closing time and I had it towed to the shop, but didn t make it before closing time. Joe made feel welcome and got me in. They looked at my car the next day and were upfront and honest. It was easy to communicate with the shop and they were friendly and fair. Very grateful that my truck got towed to All-Star, they were life savers!

Good experience at All-Star. I went in for a oil change and tire rotation. I was going out of town so could not get an appointment at my dealership where I have a maintenance plan pre-paid already. I meet with Joe at the desk who was very nice and did let me know he could not get me in on the day I wanted, but said if I dropped my car off in the morning he would take care of it. Overall, good service and once my maintenance plan expires, I'll probably use their shop in the future for my car needs.Service: Oil change

These guys are absolutely incredible super communicative, very timely, priced well and always willing to walk you through exactly what needs to be done and why. I have put thousands of miles on an engine repair they performed last spring and never had any issues. 10/10 would recommend they put in the work when I was in a tough place between work and school and they got me back on the road in no time!Service: Engine repair

Brought my car in because of a weird noise and a check engine light. They called me 15 minutes before they closed to tell me that my car had been finished for 2 hours and nobody had called me. They then told me they couldn't figure out exactly what was making the noise, but that they wanted to do maybe $1200 of work on my breaks because they had rust. As for the check engine light, they charged me something in the range of $500+ to replace a sensor. On top of that they said I needed hundreds of dollars in fluid treatments. I just got the sensor installed and took my car up to Simpson Imports for a second opinion on the noise. They found out i had a misaligned mudflap that was causing the sound and fixed it free of charge. They also found that I had problems with thr cylinders in my engines that all-star didnt catch. A few months later and the cheap sensor has become defective, putting out false errors.

My kid had our car at Mizzou and called telling me it was making a funny noise. Being 7 hours away I was at the mercy of whatever I was told by the repair shop. Allstar quickly diagnose the problem with the brakes. Bryan called and let me know they could fix the issue very inexpensively with a couple cheap parts and some labor. Very honest shop! Would highly recommend.Service: Brakes
