The purpose of this review is to shout out Coachlight RV Sales & Service in Carthage, MO, where we purchased our 41' diesel pusher Newmar Mountain Aire in April 1997 and on board which we have lived on the road full time ever since. She is a highly customized beauty (to rival the '57 Chevy we never had, LOL) and we have always done our best to keep her various systems performing to specs. Coachlight has been a big part of that effort as evidenced by our most recent visit.One of our Dometic roof air conditioners failed after many years and rather than replace just one we opted to replace both. In April 2023 we visited Coachlight where it was determined via communication with Dometic that the units would need to be something of a special order plus require a wiring/control upgrade and interface with a new controller due to the age of our rig and would also need modification to accommodate the anchor points and roof openings as well as several other changes. We placed the order and returned in October 2023 for the project.Both new air conditioners and peripheral parts had arrived during the summer thanks to diligent work by Tim Pahlow, Parts Manager. RV Technician Aaron Evans immediately set out to complete the change with modifications which took a couple of days and was totally successful. We were soon back on the road with both new units plus new connectors on communication cables and retrofitted old communication boards, all working flawlessly. We were/are very happy campers indeed.The personalized and professional efforts of Tim and Aaron plus many other Coachlight employees over the years has us returning without hesitation when needed. In our visits now spanning nearly 28 years we have never had an untoward experience.We must also mention the very reasonably priced full hookup Coachlight Campground immediately adjacent to the showroom, store and shop which was obviously laid out by the dealership owners who themselves drive big rigs, an easy in/easy out trait we often find sorely missing during our travels.

I bought a used fifth wheel from another dealer and they gave me NOTHING..!!!Coachlight was recommended to me by a family member that lives in the area...best thing to happen to me... everyone was over the top helpful and now thanks to them...I understand my trailer... Can't Thank Them Enough...I would deal with them again without hesitation...

RUN from these clowns!Bought new Grand Design Imagine and stayed onsite to checkout camper. Major problem was water leak in wall from shower. It was cold and rainy so didn't discover other problems until later.Our first camping trip we discovered the "fixed water" leak wasn't fixed so we saw water on 2nd day so shut off water. Doug said he would pick up trailer snd pull wall to look for damage (not on write-up just simply replaced washer).External leak behind awning was fixed TWICE! Still leaks.Slideout windows wouldn't open very easy. The write-up said couldn't recreate. But when Coachlight returned camper to us, their driver couldn't open. Sorry very easy to recreate so what did maintenance person do to test simply opening windows?Screen door would not stay closed by itself so that was partially fixed(see attached pic of air gap in upper right). The hard door is visible in pic. Yes, screen door latches now but gap is big enough for mosquitoes. Driver tried to bend the hinges a little but gap still there.Battery monitor was showing 14.9% (bounced around never high then. I thought was 149% since on shore power and has solar charger. Write-up simply stated 14.9 not 149%. Point being if charge was that low wouldn't it make sense to troubleshoot? I have pedestal at home so on shore power.

Just bought our new grand design. Couldn't have had a better experience!! Very low pressure sales and incredibly easy to get deal finalized. We did have a problem with the door and they fixed and improved the latch as well as put a bar on the inside screen door. We feel they went above what was expected and went the extra mile to satisfy us. We would definitely recommend.

Great dealership to work with. Wonderful staff. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our purchase. They assigned Mike to be with us while we learned our rv and he resolved any issues we had or found. He was very patient with us and explained everything we asked of him. Our salesman Norm was awesome and patient with us while we negotiate the deal. Their whole staff was incredibly to work with from sales, service, parts, and to finance. Very easy and enjoyable experience. We traveled over a 1,000 miles just to purchase from them, that should say it all.

I purchased a Grand Design Transcend from Dave and I could not be happier. No pushy sales team and very easy to get along with staff. Cheryl was fast with the paperwork. Scotty was great with the walk through. I stayed at their rv park and he came down with me to help setup! Speaking of the park Mike runs a very quiet and clean park. Great place to stay! Thank you all!

The sale was quick and the lady that handled the paperwork was pleasant. The service after the sale just completely disappeared, to the point we had hoped would be a lasting good relationship with the dealer having bought a 4 year warranty to now not looking forward to having any service work done from them. They advertise to put you in the campground for a couple days and will help with any issues. Well that fell flat and we spent the 2 days looking for the gateway in the camper so that we could use the Lippert tire sensor monitoring system that was already pre-wired. The service manager nor the service guys know the product they sale, and wasted 2 days looking for something the camper never came with to begin with. I ended up taking it to another dealer and they fixed my issue same day. A totally different experience and we didn't even buy the camper from them. I would not recommend them as how we were treated in the end.

What a great place to purchase or have your RV serviced. This is truly a family owned and run business. Marty and Doug Lown are top notch people and treat their customers like good friends and genuinely want you to be happy with their products and services. We purchased a new motor home and everyone, and I mean everyone, was so helpful and friendly making sure all our questions were answered and any issues were quickly addressed. Save yourself some headaches and go see Coachlight RV in Carthage MO.

Purchased a Grand Design Solitude 344GK-R from Coachlight last month and couldn t be happier with the people and pricing. John made the purchase process as painless as can be, and was accommodating to a fault. Before delivery, we stayed a couple of nights in their beautiful campground, as they recommended. Jeff gave a great overview of the unit s features and operation, then towed the unit to the campground. After our stay, they towed it 80 miles to our storage unit in Rogers, Arkansas (was waiting for the truck I ordered to be delivered). A pleasure working with all of the staff at this dealership!

Really Nice until they get your money, DONT naively trust them when they assure you there is no leaks or water damage, nice doesnt mean honest. ..they give a 30 day warranty but then avoid you, dont return calls, or put you off for the 30 days. .. Cheryl in the office was very friendly , and sweet.

What a joke the service department is. Had an appointment on Thursday and they didn't even look at our camper until Tuesday, Left multi messages and emails and no call backs. When I did finally got a hold of them they told me the reason they hadn't looked at my camper cause they were getting their campers ready for a big sale weekend. Was going to have them due warranty work and they told us that that we would have to pay freight on any part they had to order. Thank goodness I call my warranty company because the warranty will cover that expense. I'm glad I didn't let them work on the camper. Horrible customer service!

Great place, I had them clear coat my entire RV. I have a 32 foot Winnebago Spirit, they did an excellent job, however this place does not do oil changes or any chassis work they only work on the couch. So, all I can say is if you need a oil change done on your motorhome Wheeling RV I-44 at Exit 8 will work out fine. I really like Coachlight because they do such great work and they have a RV park right behind them which is Coachlight RV park, which I stay at a lot...great location.Update as of March 2022, I decided to update my RV toilet to a house style porcelain pedestal toilet and I found it right here at Coachlight RV sales & service center....so I bought it...thanks again Coachlight RV for being there for me.

We had our camper broken into and all of our personal effects stolen. We were out of town and had to have the camper towed to Coachlight. They were so helpful, especially Steve. We were under a tremendous amount of stress about not being there and having our camper broken into and all of our things taken. They made us feel so much better knowing the camper was safe with them.

If you are looking for an RV, you owe it to yourself to check out Coachlite RV in Carthage Missouri. We have owned and purchased several RVs, including a new Airstream. Without a doubt, the sales process, Pricing And post sales service we have received from Coachlight RV FAR EXCEEDS any other RV sales company we have encountered!!Doug Lown runs a very honest and reputable business and he displayed honesty and integrity with every encounter we have had there.We bought a 2021 Grand Design camper, for $8,000 less than it was available at several other dealers, local and across the country. No document fees, no prep fees, just straight up out the door pricing.Also, please look at a Grand Design before you buy a camper. The quality, fit and finish and amenities are superior to all other brands we looked at.

Very pleased to find this dealership so close to home! What I experienced was a beautiful facility, large diverse inventory along with a clean and well merchandised showroom. Most importantly, a friendly and informative staff to happily answer my questions!Moreover, adjoining the dealership is a well designed , paved RV Park boasting 60 pull thru sites where customers can overnight to experience there new RV! I would highly recommend and encourage you to visit this business for your RV needs!

We we're able to call same day and get a 1 nite reservation. Easy access off I-49. Pull through and back in available with full hookups. Sites are different sizes. Ours was small with no shade. Most sites have no picnic tables.Roads are paved and easy to maneuver. There is no pool, playground, bathhouse. There is cable and wifi. A laundry room and rally room.Good for couple nites, would stay again.

They are the textbook definition of outstanding customer service. Bought a new Jayco fifth wheel and it was the smoothest vehicle purchase I've had in 44 years. Negotiations with the owner were fast and extremely fair. He was able to find us a better loan rate than I could find by myself. Answered every question I had in detail. My wife noticed a piece of trim that was messed up on our initial walk through and they had it fixed before we came down for the pre-delivery inspection without us even mentioning it. They gave us access to a heated area with electrical and water hookups so that we could test all of the systems. Found 3 or 4 very minor issues and they had them all fixed, the trailer winterized, and us hitched up and on the road an hour or two later. Gave us all kinds of free extras for the RV and 10% off on everything in the store. Sales staff A+. Shop guys A++. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a top notch RV shopping experience and they've earned my business for life.

We had an excellent experience at Coachlight RV. We purchased our Grand Design Imagine 3170BH from them, 5 hours away from home when there is a dealer 5 minutes from us. Cheryl and Scotty were very helpful the day we picked her up. Very thorough PDI. Highly recommend!

Sold us an RV 4 years ago that is in our opinion is still a lemon and not working right I wouldn't by another one from them again! 42 things wrong from the water heater,happy Jack's comeing away from the wall because they forgot backing support the rv dealer only helped us very little we bought a Grand Design 399th

Wonderful owner's!! Beauitful campground. Pet friendly. Safe area to walk. Meet my handsome boyfriend here. If you stay here they have a washer & dyer. I could just go on an on about good things about them. 100%

If you actually stay at this RV Park and the sign says there is no space available but you see a space available, when pulling in after-hours, and that space does not have a reserve sign on it. Do not stay there or the manager will have charges pressed against you for trespassing. I have stayed at this RV park for years and never had an issue until I decided to drive through one night late and did notice the park was full but had seen the spot that I had stayed in was available and didn't have a reserved sign on it. I decided to stay. The next morning I was kicked off the property, ran off violently and told charges will be pressed against me. So just be careful and follow the rules to a T. I've always enjoyed staying there with my family but now I will never go there again as long as this violent manager is on site.

Ideal spot for those who are 'self contained' as there are no showers or toilets. Sites are level, and ideal for large rigs as well as small ones. Nice people. Very well appointed, quiet, and right next to RV service if you need it.

Bought a used nuway hitchhiker from coachlight a couple of years ago. Two weeks after purchase noticed leaking . Took it to them said they would fix they had it for a week and fixed nothing. Called them to tell them still wasn't fixed and they flat out told me it wasn't their problem. Will not purchase another rv, fifth wheel or pull behind from them again.
