I cannot thank Carstar enough for getting my 2023 Terrain back to normal! They got the job done in less than a week and great customer service! They called to update me about my vehicle through the whole experience! 10/10 experience!

4.5 Stars for great work on my vehicle, but 1 star or less for the lack of communication and the fact that a relatively minor job that should have only taken a few days ended up taking 2 weeks and I was without my car for 2 weeks which was a huge inconvenience. The lack of communication meant I was never able to properly plan for alternative transportation. This experience taught me not to take owning my own vehicle for granted ever again.

3rd Edit: 1st review was only 1-Star but they've proven otherwise since. TLDR: Friendly and professional vehicle repair shop with the latest equipment for all manners of repairs.After a series of unfortunate accidents with my Tesla colliding into everything possible on earth, I've now had my 3rd major repair with them. They've repeatedly worked with me to fix my 2018 Model 3 repeatedly, with cost-effectiveness, quality, timeliness, and professionalism to the highest degree. Jake and Hannah are great and their technicians are apparently magicians. Best repair shop I've ever been to and will hopefully never need to see them again but will if need be.

Recently had a great experience. They reached out to me a couple times during the repair just to let me know the progress. This was nice because usually you have to be the one reaching out trying to get information. The job was done a few days earlier than I was expecting as well. Carstar is everything you could imagine this is my second time taking A personal vehicle into their shop because of damage from someone else, they always go above and beyond to repair and replace what was damaged. Update: CarStar went above and beyond to make it right! So thankful for everyone that had a hand in getting my van in quick, fixing it quick, having a loaner car ready, and just making it right! Thank you all so much, very appreciated.Cape Girardeau, MO location put a screw in my battery. They had to disconnect battery before repairs. Said it had a loose connection when they tried reconnecting battery so they just put a screw in it. Ironically my battery died shortly after pick up. Totally unrelated they reassumed me. Refused to pay anything towards my battery. My van was rear needed on the right side. The back up camera worked every day 100% while I drove my van for 1 month waiting for the appointment to get my van in the shop. It has never worked since picking my van up. They looked at it and said it was a connection issue. They would try contacting State Farm to amend the claim. They never called me back. I honestly had a bad feeling from the day I met them they were pretty pushy and wanted me to sign papers right away when I wanted to shop around repair shops. My fault for falling for that sales trick. They did not repair my vehicle like their family is driving around in it. They rigged it. Honestly I don t even want to know what it looks like under the bumper. 0 STARS! Do not recommend!!!Services: Body & Trim, Battery

My car looks freaking amazing. Jake handled everything with care. The receptionist was also extremely nice.( I can t remember her name). They took care of me when I was struggling with not having an operable vehicle and they went above and beyond!!

They told me it would take seven days, and it did. The repair looks as good as new. They called me several times, letting me know where they were in the repair process. Took my car in to have some repairs done due to an auto accident and you can't even tell where the damages were. There was a big dent in my back passenger door and bumper area. The paint job match exactly to the original, I have no complaints. The staff kept me informed with the steps that were being taken and the estimated time of completion of my car. It took just short of a month but it was worth the wait. CarStar is a great place for body work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had to come back and edit my first review....I had to take my car back just from the middle part kinda sticking out in which they fixed it with no problem, but now the left side isn't leveled together after fixing the middle part. He just pushed on it a little and the side popped out. (Which obviously shouldnt happen)I have to say that after the third time of taking my car back im a little dissappinted in the look.It's still got a gap in between and they say there's nothing they can do about it due to the person who previously fixed it years ago. After getting paid from insurance my car looks worse now then BEFORE it was hit.If it wasn't looking like this when i first picked it up from them, it shouldn't have to look like this now.Altho they are very friendly, and have rental service which is awesome I didn't get the best body work.

I was quoted 10-12 business days for the repair of my vehicle. After 12 business days, I contacted them and found out it would be another week. After that week was up I contacted them again, and again found out it would be another week. The worst part is they didn t ask if it was ok to keep the car for almost 3 times longer than estimated and they refuse to help out with a rental. Big thank you to Jake and everyone at Car Star for another great experience! They go above and beyond every single time! My car looks brand new inside & out. I love that they wash and clean the inside of your vehicle, that s a small gesture they do not have to do but definitely keeps me coming back! This shop stay was a little longer than the others but the team texts/calls to keep you updated on the progress. Will recommend Car Star 10 times over & will continue to give them my business! So professional! They were on top over every aspect of the repair and kept me informed along the entire process. Hannah was so friendly and called me often with updates. She handled all of the insurance claim issues and made the process seamless and easy. Chad was excellent and provided expert advice on how to deal with the insurance claim which saved me thousands of dollars! His work on the car was great. The repair work looks brand new and the car drives fine. I couldn't ask for a nicer experience. Hats off to your entire team in Cape Girardeau! My wife and I were traveling North on the Interstate when we got rear ended. Unfortunately it happened late afternoon on a Saturday. Monday was a Stat holiday in Canada, where we are from. Our insurance couldn't authorize anything until Tuesday. So after 3 nights sitting in a hotel we finally got the vehicle to CarStar. The folks there were very pleasant and very reassuring. Their shop is almost brand new and state of the art. They worked in as timely a fashion as insurance would let them. My result was the vehicle being wrote off. Jake, their estimator was a pleasure to work with. Thanks CarStar!

This was my first experience with Car Star. I highly recommend them. Chad was informative, explained the process & how they work with your insurance. They also had a rental which was very affordable & less expensive than rental car companies. My car was done in the time frame allocated and they even had it detailed!
