This was a couple years ago. I was transporting a oversized load and had a break down. In about a hour I was back on the road. In the past experiences when your from out of town a lot of shop will take advantage of that. They treated me extremely fair and service was great.

Quick and professional service! Picked up a truck in Missouri for me and brought it to Effingham Illinois to get be back on the road and took my truck to my shop back in Charleston Missouri. Had me back going and able to deliver my load in a day!

I ADVISE EVERYONE WHO NEEDS HELP FROM THIS COMPANY TO GET THE ESTIMATE PRICE IN WRITING before any service is done.Owner Mark Carnell is dishonest person who will use emergency situation to rip you off. They gave us an estimate of $350 so they would come to the scene and change it to a $1000 so the final bill would come up at $1500. When I called to ask about this, Mr. Carnell was extremely rude saying he is in business for over 30 years and how there is nobody else in area who would be able to help. He lied about the length of the trucks at the scene, he charged additional time for a rotator truck who arrived after the cheaper truck just so he can get more money for a 45 minutes of work.Unprofessional and unethical company who is there just to rip off people in emergency situations. Be aware of them and do not use them unless you really have to, and if you do, make sure you get everything in writing before they start work.The worst of all is that they told us we have to pay comcheck and how they are not accepting credit cards and it is clearly stated on their website that they do accept credit cards as a form of payments, which is another obvious sign how they are ripping off people during emergency. This is extremely shady company!!!

Mark Carnell is definitely good at taking advantage of a person in the case of an Emergency they overcharge big time !!! had to take my vehicle there twice for the same issue and was charged twice for something he was supposed to have already fixed

I was making a delivery in the area turned into the wrong business buried my tractor and trailer called carnell's they come out with two wreckers the drivers discussed how they would get me out and did it very good people and great price nobody wants to see a wrecker but if you do these people are the best thanks guys for the professional job you did I wrote this review because when I'm out on the road positive reviews is what I use and this company should have a lot more

They did a very good job replacing my passenger side mirror and fixing my rear bumper. Excellent service and workmanship.

Was almost run off the parking at Tractor Supply lot by one of their driver on 2/9/2021 driver of flat bed came barreling into the parking lot.

They don't fix the issues you bring your vehicle in for same vehicle in there twice for the same thing still haven't fixed the problem
