Top notch in every way!! The staff are all knowledgeable, respectful and kind. I always get right in. The intake and waiting area are clean, there is plenty of seating with TV, complimentary food and drinks, plus vending machines. If that isn t enough, there is a free shuttle to take you anywhere you want to go in town while your vehicle is being serviced. I never stress about going to the Honda service department because I know I will have a good experience.

Alex Cunningham was my sales person at Cape Girardeau, Honda. Alex listened carefully to what I needed in a new vehicle and matched me up with a Honda Passport. I felt extremely comfortable when test driving the car. Alex is highly knowledgeable about Honda vehicles and clearly answered all of my questions. He was able to explain the financing to me in a way I could understand. When my vehicle arrived from a different dealership, Alex patiently answered all of my questions about the purchase and the set up of my new vehicle. The best part of my Honda experience was Alex. I have purchased 4 cars in my lifetime, and Alex has been the best salesperson I have worked with by far. Alex is not a pushy, in your face kind of person, and that meant everything to me. I enjoyed him as a person and felt his communication style was typical of someone who has been in the selling field much longer than he has been. I felt he was honest and sincere and had a strong work ethic. Alex will be an awesome employee, or boss, no matter where he works. I also am very impressed with my new 2023 Honda Passport! Request Alex if you are considering buying a vehicle in Cape Girardeau.

I had an emissions light appear on my van. I had received a recall notice and thought it may be related. When I took it to Cape Girardeau Honda, they said the warning light may not be related to the recall. They said if it wasn t the recall causing the issue, there would be a diagnostic fee to determine what was wrong. I guess I should have been clearer with them, because I just wanted to know if the recall was the issue. They determined the recall wasn t the issue, charged me a $165.41 diagnostic fee and told me I needed $3930.28 in repairs done. What a joke. I declined and took it to my mechanic. He said it is fine to drive until he can look at it. I can assure you that whatever is done won t be anywhere near $3930.28. Again, I should have made it clear that I just wanted to know if the recall needed to be done. I have purchased four vehicles from Cape Girardeau Honda and will not purchase another one.After the above review was posted, I received a phone call from a manager at Cape Girardeau Honda. He apologized and said there was actually a recall or warranty extension on my fuel injectors, and they will replace them when the parts come in. Today I went there, and they returned $165.41 to my credit card. They were very professional and I appreciate them reaching out to me. The reason for the four star rating is I still think the $3930.28 estimate for needed repairs was way over the top.

I want to preface my review with stating that I love my new vehicle. Our Sales & Leasing salesman, Bud McMillan was EXCELLENT, 10 out of 10, efficient, candid, upfront, extremely friendly & personable. I recommend all of Honda s staff follow Bud s example. However, we were not pleased with Sales Manager Nick Uptain s approach, very off-putting, cold, not personable. We almost backed out of the purchase after our experience with him. Curtis Felker, the Finance Manager who closed our loan was also very personable and friendly. Despite that, the loan closing took entirely too long. In today s world, that process needs to be much shorter. A suggestion would be to have all documents ready for signatures, nothing should have to be placed in a printer and printed while the customer is closing their loan. It was at the end of the day for us, we had an hour drive home yet to make, hadn t eaten dinner, so the extremely long loan closing was frustrating.

Disappointed that the diagnostic service provided was over and above the required service to repair our CRV. We received a second opinion, it came up with different results and MUCH less cost to fix. We realized that you must have a very busy schedule and look to deter customers from getting service done at your location.After our 3rd Honda purchased from your dealership, we cannot see another purchase in our future.

There was a gross oversight of a very specific problem that I had requested in my initial service call. It was documented in the request but was not addressed during the visit. Instead, I was told it was fine and they couldn t find anything wrong. Due to that oversight, I was stranded. However, when I brought my vehicle back, they did replace the part free or charge and apologized, which I appreciated, but was still upset that it could have been fixed the first time I brought it in, just a couple days prior. Otherwise, I haven t really had issues, which is why this last experience was so disappointing. Customer service has been great, so that s why I hated leaving a negative review. I just hope it helps bring attention to any underlying issues in the service department to restore their ranking.

Absolutely terrible service department. Don't ever make the mistake of taking your car here. I will never buy another car from this place again. They will lie to you and charge you for their own mistakes. They charged me $1,300 for something they told me would cost $150. The worst part is that the car only broke after their incompetence at the service department. I am not the type of person to leave poor reviews at places, but this has thrown me over the edge.

I have been trying to get into contact with Cape Honda for two weeks now about a complaint I have with their service department. I have no issues with my car needed to be repaired. However, I do have issues with the poor communication from the service department that lead me to be without a vehicle for three weeks. I was also made late to work the first time because I had to wait 2 hours for them to tell me there was nothing wrong with my car when it was NOT drivable. A week later I was made late to work again because they failed to tell me that my battery was on its way out. Apparently they didn t notice the condition of the outside of the battery when they did an internal test (twice in ten days). Yet they can tell me I need filters changed? I was offered a 20% discount on recommended services which I was not given. They gave me a 15% discount after I complained. I waited almost four hours for an update on my vehicle and had to call myself. I called and they told me it was done when it was on a lift with no tires and no work done to it. I was lied to when they told me they had ordered a tire for me when they had not. This started in the beginning of August and it s now late October. Mr. Chris Brown I d like to speak with you if you see this. Three free oil changes worth $222 that Rusty offered me after I spent almost $1000 with your company is not enough to compensate for the WEEKS of trouble your company has given me. Rob is the only employee in the service department who took me seriously. Starting to feel like I m being discriminated against for being a young woman. I m not ignorant like you ve been treating me. Loved buying my vehicle from Bud. BUT DONT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE.

I would nvr trust Dan Robert's as far as I could throw him, he is absolutely disgustingly disrespectful, called me the n word and a lot more, he screws people with the parts prices and terrorizes his employees to the breaking point, I would not buy anything from this store because of this so called man, and the fact that he still works there is a joke. what the heck is the management doing? Why would you ever want an employee that screams at everyone, screws them on prices and then laughs at it.. absolutely pathetic..

Very disappointed in this company now been there 2 times spending money and the problem with my car not fixed. The workers are very rude working with me like I should just keep paying not getting to be car fixed. 88.00 the last time to remove rocks from behind a pan. Drive off still same problem I called back that it wasn't fixed no one called me back. I have bought 2 new cars there but this will be my last car I buy there .place is not what it use to be. So aggravated that it comes to this.

I had a bit of a crisis, scary lights came on but the job I works makes getting it to a shop very difficult. Thankfully, I was able to squeeze into a last minute appointment slot, now the only issue was getting the car back as I would definitely be working past close for the rest of the week. Not only were they able to accommodate me paying over the phone but they left the car outside unlocked and with the keys safety inside. Crisis adverted!! Thankful for how well they were able to help me despite my challenging work schedule
